Hijabi girls nowadays
Are worse than those with mini skirts
They lie and flirt
Swear and curse

They look pious
But inside they are negus ( impure )
The way they act and behave
Embarrasses you and our deen
It may sound mean
But it’s a fact
And observed in college, university and shopping centres

They wear the hijab with tight fitted clothing
Because they think hijab and jilbaab is boring
They want respect and attention from guys
So they dress both Islamic and western

They have created a new trend
And even those with proper hijab feel willing to bend
A little make up and perfume
Leading to losing more of their hayya ( shame ) and modesty

You see them everywhere
And think that they are Islamic
And a credit to our deen
In these times of fitna and impropriety
But they are far from being ‘ proper’ and Islamic

Hijabi girls are lost and confused
They think a piece of cloth will protect them from being used and abused by boys
But their actions speak louder than words
They are worse than those who wear mini skirts

Many don’t even pray
But are quick to refer to themselves as hijabies
And think it’s an exclusive club
And an identity

Some come to college and then go through a change
In personality and behaviour
It’s almost like they are living a double life
Away from the family and community

Concepts, ideas and values messed up
So what good is a piece of cloth on their head?
They listen to music and sing the filthy lyrics
Make even the non-Muslim blush
By their behaviour

Ya Allah they are far from Islam
And victims of the secular society and its liberal values
What to do except give them dawah
Practice the deen and be an example
Make them think and see the contradiction
And return back to the right path

Bismillah. For the girls who have yet to discover the beauty of the veil.
My hijab not only covers me, but can also protect,
It makes men view me as a decent person, not an object.
And when the Quran orders:
“tell the believing women to lower their gaze,”
I ought to do so,
and must not have evil faze.
My hijab veils my shame,
it can pull me away from several evil deeds,
It makes others recognize me as a faithful, true Muslim,
Who listens to Allah SWT and heeds.
My hijab, like I stated before, reveals me as a truly trying beiever,
A follower of the Prophet s.a.w. peace be upon him and his lovely family,
and avoider of a deceiver,
My hijab expresses who I am,
and it earns me respect of greatness,
Not one man of the Non-Mahram category
dare ever eye me to witness!
My hijab tells others: Better treat me seriously,
If they mess around and ignore
the warning signs,
They’ll have to pay greatly.
My hijab is never ugly!
No, no, it makes me feel prettier than ever.
It’s just that my Lord wants me to hide my gifted beauty,
I’ll enjoy it in Paradise, in which I will, Insha Allah, abide in forever.

Ignored, left and abandoned by association
Seen as a germ, convicted of the sin of abandoning assimilation

The veil of hers, not combined with tight jeans or cute ditsy little shirts,
With an attitude that says no to flirtation–not wanting attention, even if it hurts

A person of that type and especially a female
Is not well liked, for many believe that she should be on sale

For all to see,
bought cheap as eyecandy

They say its freedom to dress as if there’s a shortage on cotton,
And its apparently fine for everyone to look at her bottom

But when a girl wants to cover up and respect herself and her deen, they call her oppressed–
Sling at her names, give odd looks and try to make her depressed

Nonetheless, she’s patient, persevering, and not succumbing to their jargon,
For the duniya is a prison to the believer and to the kafir, a garden…

This Hijab is an act of faith
A symbol for everyone to see
That I am a MUSLIM woman
This Hijab is my identity
It shows my truthfulness and integrity
It is act of piety
To preserve my dignity
Because of my Hijab they say am pity

They say i should take it off and be ashamed
But little did they know that this Hijab is my freedom
They say that Im oppressed
Just give it a rest
Don’t you know all this is a test
This is and will always be the way i dress
So Im not stressed
Honestly your just making a mess
Who are you trying to impress
Cause this is not a contest
This is just my way of being a modest

Hijab is what a choose to wear
Why do you even care
I mean this is not rare
It’s all over world so keep it fair
Or maybe i could give you some to share
Cause surely i do have some spare
I could teach you how to wear
So be aware
Don’t compare
And glare
because who knows tomorrow you might actually have a pair

Modesty is what we are
This might sound bizarre
But the Hijab itself is a star
And for some a start
A journey to be a part
Of somemthing so simple and smart
But yet we easily break apart
Modesty is not a form of art
But something in our hearts
Keep it halal and make it a good part
Of something new and remark
Be who you are and not who they want you to be
Cause Hijab is surely something to be proud of

Modesty is not given or taken
But earned and made
Hijab is my secret weapon
And all i need to do is kill u all with that beautiful weapon.

You, yes you staring at me,
Either portraying me as a terrorist or pitying me
For you think that I’m oppressed.
Is that how you observe others, by judging them for how they are dressed?

You, yes you staring at me,
Wondering why, as an American living in my own country,
the land of the free,
Where I can be independent but instead I am letting some piece of covering cloth oppress me.
Is that what you think the piece of cloth does, it oppresses me and my identity?

You, yes you starting at me,
With dirty looks for leaving my home covered like that, for how could it be,
It’s an insult on the woman of this country, for they worked so hard to achieve their equality.
Is that what you think that piece of cloth does, denies me of my parity?

You, yes you starting at me,
Lost at the thought and the possibility,
Of how I’m willing to be held captive of a religion that degrades women like me.
Is that what you think my religion does, holds me captive of my liberty.

You, yes you staring at me,
Pondering and dignifying yourself, and maybe just smiling to yourself a bit,
Thankful that you are not me,
For you would never want to be me
And oppress yourself of your body.
For you are smarter than that because you use that body
To attract others with your beauty,
For without it you feel a sense of insecurity.

Me, yes this is me,
The person you’re staring at so obviously, the one in the piece of cloth, hiding her identity.
I wish to clarify a few things for you, so you so you would no longer disagree
And believe that I am held captive of my own body.
The piece of cloth is called the “Hijaab” you see
And the term Hijaab is used for both Muslim men and woman like me
Its meaning goes way beyond to embody a metaphysical dimension of sexuality

For me I wear it to preserve my privacy,
Something that is just for me,
So I won’t be judged by my beauty
But rather my intelligence and prosperity,
Yes that’s right, I am not denied of prosperity
But rather possess it much greatly when I’m dressed modestly
This is the way I choose to be, independent, and free on the contrary.

Eaman Saad Shebley

Talking to a young Muslim sister
I had the following conversation

It’s my choice
What I wear
Telling me how to dress aint fair
I express my individuality
And use my voice
Refuse to be controlled

I live for the here and now
I’m only young once
So I enjoy and do what makes me happy
Don’t care for the hereafter

Forget how my mother dresses
She’s old with one foot in the grave
And has to go with the flow
And act her age
That is not for me in this day and age

Fashion is what I must follow
Models and pop stars in glossy magazines
Even though in sin I wallow

Some wear the scarf
In so many styles
And with tight revealing clothes
Surely this is not how the Sahabiyat used to dress

I know I’m a Muslim
Don’t need to show it
It’s in my heart
And it is clean
In comparison to some I know

Society has many temptations
Most of the bad ones I avoid
Premarital sex and hard drugs
And it’s hard not to fit in
And give in to a little flirting

A little make up
And fitted clothing
Just to show my beauty
And get some attention
And maybe proposals

I’m not as bad as those who are lost
Who put everything on display
Like the pop stars on my Ipod
At least I retain some modesty
I tell myself
As I follow fashion blindly

But some refuse to compromise
And follow the society
And wear their hijab with dignity
I see they are sure of their identity
And purpose in life
And are sought after as wives
For their piety

These sisters make me think
Perhaps I too should change?
From following fashion to obeying Allah

who I am is who you see,
women as free as free can be.
who you see is who I am,
Allah my Lord,my faith Islam.
My veil,my gown like flowing covers
Is what I wear to show all others
Life and beauty are not skin deep
Its in our hearts intentions we keep.
I walk out there yes not showing my hair
If that offends you then life is not fair.
I’m not a slave at home tied to the kitchen sink!
I too have a heart and a brain that can think.
And before you ask if I’m depressed
Abused alone or completely oppressed
Just know I’m happy and I feel more free
when men aren’t gawking and flirting with me
I don’t need to dress up for strangers
or put myself in this world dangers
I feel grand in my palace with plenty to do.
and I can by the way go outside too.
In case you were wondering if I slept in my gown
the answer is no and I don’t sleep on the ground
I’m just like any other women you see
but covers and protects her modesty
I eat take-away food on the weekends
share my love with so many friends.
there’s more to me than what your eyes see
so don’t judge my choices before you know me.
to anyone out there who cant comprehend
I’m happy and free all the way to the end
Not everyone’s life consists of hair do’s
and this is the life I willingly choose.

No longer shackled by the oppression
of miniskirts and see-thru shirts,
my sisters stand proud.

Covered by cloth and more so by conviction
submission to Allah, they stand apart from the crowd.

The taunts, the jeers, the stares, the leers
Never fazing or dissuading them from following the deen.

Real women they be, the epitome of femininity
strong, secure, complete human beings.

Not slaves to the world of fashion
which is always askin’
for women to dress in as less as they can.

Their hijab is for the sake of Allah
in imaan and taqwa
they refuse to be objectified by man.
Such are my sisters in Islam.

Wearing my Hijab I pass these guys
Right away I know they thinking of the lies
How Muslims are terrorists who commit suicide
So they can kill people before they die
I feel like sitting down to erase their doubts
Let them know what the real Islam is about
Tell them I’ve heard the little kids scream and shout
At the enemies to let their families out
All that shiz on TV, all that crap they giving me
Muslim terrorist killed those three
He bombed that building there goes the city
They stare at us Muslimahs eyes filled with pity
They think we forced to wear it cause we pretty
They dont know we wear it to become a we
Cause when we do that we combine all the seas
We put the free in the freedom we aint gonna be
Enslaved by the media enslaved by the TV
One day the Muslim ummah is gonna be
From the A B C to the Y X Z
Pray to Allah to guide you and me
And let truth be spread in this country

Tell me
When will this hatred stop
Tell me
When is the crime gonna drop
Tell me
When will we be on top
Tell me
Will our iman rise or drop
Tell me
If you get what I’m sayin’
Tell me
If u feel what I’m feelin’
Tell me
If u see what I’m seein’
Tell me
When will you start believin’

Man I bet you cant imagine the look on my face
When I read the news and I’m feeling the hate
One minute Turkey was here next thing it aint
We gotta get back in line gotta set things straight
Who cares the crime rate we stand in free state
Dont matter if we great aslong as we show em the right way
You can be sunni or shiite sects dont matter in this state
We brothers and sisters and its our iman we gotta upgrade
The hate we erase, the love we place
All the races combined into one race

I am a Muslim woman
Feel free to ask me why
When I walk,
I walk with dignity
When I speak
I do not lie

I am a Muslim woman
Not all of me you’ll see
But what you should appreciate
Is that the choice I make is free

I’m not plagued with depression
I’m neither cheated nor abused
I don’t envy other women
And I’m certainly not confused

Note, I speak perfect English
Et un petit peu de Francais aussi
I’m majoring in Linguistics
So you need not speak slowly

I run my own small business
Every cent I earn is mine
I drive my Chevy to school & work
And no, that’s not a crime!

You often stare as I walk by
You don’t understand my veil
But peace and power I have found
As I am equal to any male!

I am a Muslim woman
So please don’t pity me
For God has guided me to truth
And now I’m finally free!

People look. People stare,
They look at me with an ignoranced glare.
Look at her – she’s out of place,
She’s only showing her hands and face!
They never intend to know the reason,
Only imagine it to be a form of treason.

People question. People wonder,
About the influences I am under.
Why I cover-up from head-to-toe,
So that my physical body doesn’t show!
My personality and character are more,
Than can be shown with clothes from any store

People think. People assume,
That we are in a state of gloom.
Those Muslim women must be oppressed,
Just look at how they are dressed!
If they knew how I feel inside,
All their beauty they also hide.

You do not understand me and dare not try.
I confuse you a bit but you don’t know why.

I seem so happy…”How can that be?”
my image is shown as oppressed on t.v.

All you’ve been taught was so real to you;
I am proving different…”Now what to do?”

Do you keep believing in that image you “knew”
or try to understand this from my view?

I am sane, I have a mind and please don’t call me weak.
I live and love, laugh and cry and am allowed to speak.

I think for myself, reason and rhyme and am far from being oppressed
But you’re so quick to think that of me simply by how I’m dressed.

This is my choice, my own free will that’s why I dress as you see;
so before you judge by what you “knew”, come and talk to me.

Her body covered from head to toe,
Your minds busy deciphering why?
But that you shall come to know.
You’re wishing she would reveal her,
Legs; chest;
Maybe your eyes could filch a taste?

You remain fixated,
Gazing, intently at my sister in Islam;
Your mind screams oppression;
Injustice; Implemented by some,
Self-righteous bearded man.

You think she’s imprisoned because
Her beauty isn’t within your vision?
So you’d like to free her…
Enlighten her with a new dress sense;

Expose, what her loose clothing won’t reveal,
Because right now it’s only serving to conceal,
That which is your right to steal.
And your right to take,

But she has you standing;
Peering through the bars that she’s placed.

My sister feels his eyes welded to her, She glances up,once;
Her eyes grip the floor. She’s felt, and she’s heard this before…
And she thinks…
I do not blame you.
I do not blame you because they taught you that a womans freedom
was a garment that could only be sewn from the fabric of immodesty

So when you look at me
i become more than able to conceive
that your thoughts are just a product of society
and what it has mislead you to believe

An unconscious prisoner of the media, the radio and MTV;
Filled with elaborate pictures and descriptions of women you really shouldn’t see
So instead of feeling sorry for herself, my sister feels sorry for him
Because he lacks the knowledge to know that to glance twice is a sin.
But she sees it necessary to speak and to let him know that;

I do not do this for you and i do not do this for me
I do this for Allah and it is with certainty that He intended a woman to preserve her modesty;
So when I walk on the street men will not bother me
Because you see, there really is nothing to see
And I do not wish to fit into your narrow minded idea of feminine “beauty”.

Beauty can be defined with so many words

Beauty that radiates the sun

Beauty is not only what you see on the outside, but it is what you find inside

Or perhaps beauty that which is pleasing to the eye

Do you define beauty as what you see on billboards and magazines

Is beauty that which is accepted in the western world, tall but skinny. With high cheek bone, with airbrushed makeup to match their airbrushed smile

Or is beauty that which is hidden from all preying eyes

True beauty is like a pearl, that’s hidden beneath the sea

A pearl is what defines a Muslimah, who wraps a hijab to hide her beauty

Beauty is shyness and how beautifully you carry yourself

Beauty is in modesty, that becomes a means of protections for those who observe it

Two little girls playing in the sun
one wore a scarf, the other wore none.

“Why do you wear a scarf?” asked the one without,
the other little girl said without a doubt

“Allah loves me to cover my hair
so that little boys won’t stand and stare,

when I grow up what I really want to be
is a well dressed Muslim lady like my pretty Mummy.”

You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I’m dressed,

You know me not for what is inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride,

My body is not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mould,

I’m an individual. I’m no man’s slave,
It’s Allah’s pleasure that I only crave,

I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,

“O ye women, wrap close your cloak,
So you won’t be bothered by ignorant folk”.

Man doesn’t tell me to dress this way,
It’s law from God that I obey,

Oppressed is something I’m truly not,
For liberation is what I’ve got,

It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper, the right to grow,

I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees,

For God Himself gave us liberty,
When He sent Islam, to you and me !

Oh Muslim Women, Don your veil’s

Be safe from the glares of Na Mahram males!

Oh Muslim Mother, protect your beauty, guard your chastity

Draw over you the jilbaab that conceals completely!

OH My Muslim sister, The women of the west are not the best

Darkness is their dress, no light do they possess

Oh Muslim Women,You are a queen within your home

On the streets, for all to view you do not roam

Oh Muslim Mother, with Jannah as your aim and Imaan as your weapon

Stand tall, be proud , you’re a believing woman!

Oh my Muslim sister,Let them mock, let them jeer,

it’s all that they do!

You have what they do not ,

and that is the fear of Allah within you

I am Muslim women, let me say it aloud

I bow my head, lower my gaze and and remain in my protective shroud!

She walks down the street
Fully covered
From head to toe
In the sun and the sleet
Not bothered by rude comments
From all and sundry

Her face is covered from view
And only revealed for the few
Her husband and other mehram
And not the rest of male society

She is blessed by her lord
With good looks and health
She praises him
And obeys his every command
Including the one to cover

She is neither western nor eastern
Rebellious or trying to fit in
She refuses to go with the flow
And treads a path that many choose not to follow

Some are completely westernised
Discarded their identity a long time ago
And now in sin they wallow
With the rest of society
Others go half way
Hijab with tight clothing
A bit of Islam and some of Kufr
They look silly
But they think they are trendy
And attractive

Others wear the proper jilbab
And refuse to compromise their identity
Neither following fashion nor the norms of society
But they still get attention that’s unwarranted

But some sisters prefer to wear the niqab
And hide completely
Into anonymity
Whilst interacting in society
See it as a guard against evil
And unwanted attention
From those who don’t lower their gaze
And eye up every woman regardless

Author: Showkat Ali

When I walk along the way
The people just stare at me in dismay

They think that I’m forced to wear that “thing”
But actually I wear it for Allah, The King

Maybe they think that I am not free
Just because I wear a headscarf on me

But that’s not true, I am really free
I wear it for Allah, The Almighty

The way we dress is not to show some skin
But for people to judge us not by our body, but from within

They might call me names or even start to stare
But what makes me keep going is knowing Allah is there

So when you pass me walking down the street
Don’t think that I am forced to cover myself up to my feet

It’s a simple way to be modest and humble
So don’t be next to me and start to grumble

I feel proud and tall when I wear my clothe
Because I have nothing at all to show and expose

Now you could only judge my character and my personality
And not of how I dress myself, but for my morality

So this scarf that I have on
Is my choice so don’t be alarmed

I felt right and true when I put my Hijab on from the start
Its because it calmed me, purified me, and soothed my heart

But really the only difference between you and me
Is that I just cover my hair and my body

So if any of you ever see me and hear my voice
Just know that what I wear is only my choice

Covered from head to toe
Women change in quick flow
Going to parties,
evil can grow
Deen in their hands
that they throw
Some expose by earning pennies
Modesty is wanted and concerned by many
Wear the hijab and you will feel protected
Oppose the hijab and you will die neglected
Then think I’m oppressed
But really who’s depressed
I wear to express
The true colour I posses
Here I confess
Stop the stereotyping,I request
To hear me loud and clear
As my modesty speaks without fear

In these dark and lonely times
Where religious disputes reign supreme
Listen to everybody’s voice
But once they’ve chosen leave them be

For in a world of hatred in Islam
I only have one thing to say
For you is your religion,
And for me is my own

All around the western world
People are striving to stop
The spread of a single religion,
Islam, why’s that?

All over the news you see terrorist strikes
And the first thing you think is – It’s the Muslims?
Sure, we have our questionable people
But then, what culture doesn’t?

Please listen to me, we aren’t all like that
You’re placing us all in one category
Yes, we have our less appealing characters
But so do the Jews and Christians!

We are all from the same race
We all live on this planet
Why can’t we just get along?
Why do we fight and argue?

Muslims aren’t mean, or cruel, or offensive
As a whole we’re really not so bad
But one or two may act out of line
And you base us all on that?

I don’t force you to pray, or to wear the Hijab
I don’t label you by offensive titles
But when I walk down the street I get called weird names
Or I get pointed out and laughed at

I am just a human girl
Following what I feel is right
I try to understand what’s right and what’s wrong
I ask you, what’s the harm in that?

So I ask you from the heart,
Why the names and the stares?
Why do you judge me by my religion?
Do you really care?

I wear the Hijab to purify my Deen
I pray five times a day to keep my heart clean
I may act differently to everyone else
But the truth is, I’m just an ordinary girl

Why do you try to ban my rights?
Why do you try to cage me in your rules?
Why are you targeting Islam only?
When the world in full of other religions too?

My intention is simple,
I’m trying to understand
Why people hate Islam so
Why against it they all stand

You have no right in the affairs of my heart
And in my heart I believe
Islam is my decision of what’s right
No matter what other people think

To you is your religion
And to me is my own
So no matter how you scream and curse
Islam is my religion, and the truth is,
It’s MY choice!

There are some places
Be it
A Strange city
A land over the sea
So far from home
I may be
Salaams flow from the lips of strangers
What a welcome familiar sound
Respect abound
I am known…
I belong…
Then there are places
Where people stare at me
In awe
In fear
Sometimes distrust
Plain hostility
That I accept
And sometimes expect
But still undeniably
I am known…
I belong…
For better or worse
My hijab is my Identity

They stand there with shorts, so short, excessively short,
shorts that so deceptively capture from them all they know
of modesty…

…and I proudly pull my scarf over my hair

They stand there, face lost in a sea of make-up,
make-up that so ruthlessly captures from them all they know
of freedom…

…and I proudly pull my scarf over my hair

They stand there, hair raining with gels, colors –
chemicals that so menacingly capture from them all they know
of purity…

…and I proudly pull my scarf over my hair

They stand there, so close, so very close to their “lover”,
devoted to them, the devotion that so mercilessly captures
from them all they know of individuality…

…and I proudly pull my scarf over my hair

And they stand there, talking of getting new shorts, new gels
and colors, new boyfriends, materialistic things
that so wrongfully capture from them all they know
of God and love…

…and I proudly pull my scarf over my hair

For my scarf is my protector, my lover, my devotion,
my pureness, my beauty, my rememberance of God

And I proudly pull it over my hair knowing that when I wear it,
I so rightfully thrust away all the things that the devil
brought about,

And when I put it on, I am

Educated, cultivated, motivated when I’ve prostrated to Allah, The Elevated. The Most High, SubhanAllah, Exalted be He.
Can’t anything move, breath,or function without His Decree.

As He decreed that my nature should be one of modesty, seemly, humblely, lacking of any indecency.

Gave me a moral code of conduct in His Book, Al-Kitab.
And it says to keep my dignity that I should wear the hijab.

Cover my hair, cover my chest, cover both front, and behind.
Concealing the outer beauty to release the inner mind.

Unlike the heathen women, promisuous in their intimitacies,
frequent in their indecencies, which result in illegitimacies.

The outer rainments prescribed, help to control the actions,
proud to be hijabi and able to control my passions,

So if you see one on the street you can keep your words of dissatisfaction.

See Me, Hijabi, slave of Allah,
and not to Fashion

Oh! It’s so nice to see sisters covered
And following the deen
But sadly there is a new trend
Wearing hijab with tight clothing
Mixing with the opposite gender
Head covered
About everything else not bothered

Getting looks
Lewd comments and winks
Maybe that’s the intention
As some fool themselves into thinking
I know my roots
And identity

Take ages to dress up
Make up first
Then perfume
Tight clothes
Then hijab last
A look in the mirror
Then go outside
And walk the catwalk

The pious look and shiver
While the ignorant praise
And forget to lower their gaze
Corrupting many
By their dress
And personality
Especially young girls
Who want to be a hijabi Barbie

Boys chat them up
They enjoy the company
People look and stare
And tut
But they don’t care

Desires set loose
To society oblivious
Hugs and kisses
Leading to much more

Giving Islam a bad name
And building a reputation along the way
But they have no shame
As they follow Satan’s way

Bit of Islam and most of the west
Hijab aint a fashion accessory
It’s a necessity
For those who wish to follow Islam completely

Have they stopped thinking based upon the deen?
Do they not see the sisters covered properly?
And ask why?

I guess there is a veil upon their hearts
Consumed by the attention they get
Which they crave
As they walk around a slave to society

Do they think and question
How they should follow your religion
Or do they go with the flow
And fit in with western society

To be fair
At least they cover somewhat
In a day and age when most don’t bother
Or see the need
And feed on western culture
Models and singers
Setting the trend and example
But are they better or worse
Than those who expose all

Girls without hijab quote Their example
And use it as a pretext not to cover
At least we are not hypocrites they mutter
When faced with this many stutter
And make excuses
But will they be sufficient
On the last day

In our hearts we know the truth
And the soul finds no peace
In wearing hijab and being promiscuous
Flirting and dating
Hugging and kissing
And a lot more besides

So what to do?
Take off the hijab
And walk around completely naked
Or add a little extra
And be properly covered
Respected and admired
By the creation as well as the creator

The choice is ours
Will we adhere to our deen?
Or be a victim of society and its many temptations
Leading to hell and eternal damnation

That’s probably why they’re still searching for the ideal one

Women covered and protected
Always agitate and offend
Even in winter
They feel cheated
From being unable to look and explore

Most women don’t care
About the lewd stares
Water off a ducks back
Panic when they are ignored
And see attention as a compliment
And most dress accordingly

Brainwashed from birth
Pop stars and other celebrities
Teach them how to dress
To impress and get lots of stares
And wolf whistles
As they walk down the street

Porn culture has now entered the mainstream
Just look at any high street on Friday night
So anyone covered is out of the ordinary
“How can any parent allow their daughters to go out dressed like this?”
Say many non-Muslims
No wonder Muslim women are seen as extra ordinary

Some Muslim women are also victims
Hijab with tight clothing
Plucked eyebrows and make up
The head is covered mostly
But shame about everything else

They also get stares and comments
Nothing complimentary
Ho-jabi and other such words
To describe their dress and behaviour

Guys thinking
Someone to practice on
Until we marry someone decent
Who’s properly covered and pious
This is the sad indictment
Of following Islam mixed with western porn culture
And being viewed and treated like a ……..

Lift the Veil ! They say, “Oh poor girl you’re so beautiful you know ! It’s a shame that you, cover-up your beauty so ! “
She just smiles so graciously, responds reassuringly: “This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me.

This body that I have, no stranger has a right to see.
These long clothes and shawl I wear, ensure my modesty, Faith is more essential than fashion, Wouldn’t you agree ?

” This hijab – This mark of piety !
Is an act of faith, the symbol, for all the world to see ! A simple cloth, to preserve her dignity !

So lift the veil from your heart, to see the heart of purity ! They tell her girl: “Don’t you know this is the west and you are free ! You don’t need to be oppressed, ashamed of your femininity !

” She just shakes her head and she speaks so assuredly: “See the billboards and the magazines, the lines in the checkout aisles; with their phoney painted faces, and their engrossed smiles.

With their sheer clothes and low-cut gowns they are really not for me !
You call it freedom – And I call it anarchy ! “

And This hijab – This mark of piety Is an act of faith, the symbol, for all the world to see !

A simple cloth, to preserve her dignity ! So lift the veil from your heart, to see the heart of purity !

A simple cloth, to preserve her dignity ! So lift the veil from your heart, to see the heart of purity !
So lift the veil from your heart and seek the heart of purity !

Hijab with tight clothing

When you wear the hijab you feel good
Because you know its right
But when you put on your tight fitting clothes
The angels take flight
And stop singing your praises

You’re caught up in the middle
Being Muslim and western
Your mind knows that its Allah you should obey and follow
But you’re confused
About which pill to swallow
And you try and follow the middle path
Even though u know their aint no such thing
But you just can’t resist not wearing bling

You’re young and vulnerable
In a society that’s just corruptible
Taking advantage of your naivety
Models with size 6 and 8 clothing
On the billboards and magazines
Brainwashing you

It’s hard to resist
And they persist
Pictures everywhere
Nowhere is safe
So you gotta buy those clothes
And go on a starvation diet to make sure they fit

Doesn’t always go with the hijab
But you try and make it all blend in
Coz you’re a victim of fashion
Which in every nation
Is like a God
Dictating and manipulating
Young minds
Filled with false images of beauty
Trying to conform

I know coz it affects me to

People comment and talk about you
Behind your back they stab you
With words
Cut like a razor
Are you aware?
Does it not faze ya?
Upset ya
Make you feel that you’re letting down your Deen

What’s the point
Wearing a hijab
With tight clothing
Gaining reward
And losing it
When you put on your tight jeans and top
Should you not stop and think?

You cry modesty in self defence
Make the non-Muslim woman the basis
And say Islam urges modesty and moderation
Quote modernist scholars
Those who sell out Islam for just a few dollars

You say women in the west are oppressed
And slaves to man and society
Have no respect or dignity
Used and abused like products

But what about you
Who are you a slave to?
Allah or fashion?

You always justify
And compare and contrast
With those who wear less than you
My words may be harsh
But you know it’s true

I’m only saying
What others are thinking
And saying behind your back
Giving you advice
Because your actions are harming us

It’s easy to judge
And harder to change and budge
From following Kufr
At least you make an effort
But Islam we take completely
Coz halfway Islam don’t mean nothing on the last day
When we will all stand in front of Allah naked

Behind the veil I am the queen..
I have a body that nobody seen..
Many people think I am oppressed-
And wonder how I got myself into this mess..

My veil is my cure..
And makes my heart pure..
It earns me my love from Allah my Lord..
And makes me strong against any sword..

Behind my beautiful veil lies..
My savior from the temptation of guys!
‘Behind my veil,’ I begin to say..
‘Is where I shall forever stay!’

Written By: muslimahprincess (me!)

In times of affliction
I raise a voice.
A pain in my heart
Difficult to disguise.

A tale of wrong
You cannot deny.
A wound so deep,
It makes me cry.

Delicate and subtle,
But sublime by nature.
Chosen for you,
From the Greatest Protector.

Like a pearl in a shell,
You can trust your beauty
I never let the devils
Obstruct my duty.

But you chose me not.
You ditched my care.
Like a flower shedding its petals,
You stand truly bare

You look at me
With an absolute hate.
You are fond of this world
and stuck to its bait.

Little you know.
Little you think.
You are made for a purpose,
Not an object of bling.

You fear the people.
You fear the crowd.
Who stand and stare,
Like shaytaan avowed.

The day you will be called.
The day you will be said.
Oh people of this ummah,
Arise and Awake!

You were given a life.
You were given a soul.
You were made perfect
And you had a goal

But you pleased the world.
And you did not stop.
You had the jannah,
But they made you swap

You have no helpers.
You have no life.
Except Allah,
The Mighty and The Wise

So you fail to understand
The inherent wisdom
Closing your eyes
Does not give you freedom

The angels witnessed,
When the scholar said:
You have no purpose here,
I will have you shred

But I laughed at his folly.
When my sister was firm:
To Allah we belong,
And to Allah we return.

The strangers who hug me,
Have held their head high.
To protect their faith,
They always stand by

They swim against the tide
To try their best
They make the word of Allah
Superior to the rest

So unite my sisters,
In every inch and corner.
Allah has given you
The greatest honour.

Your face is not an object.
Your shyness is not a waste.
Glamour is not an asset
To show-off in a haste.

A piece of cloth,
A piece of respect
A true sense of freedom,
You can surely expect.

when you see her dont judge her by her
its a choice she made not in vain
becsuse islam runs deep down her vein
instead look at her beauty beyond
the veil

she chooses to cover,so you cant stare
how unfortunate socialite are paid to
be bare
adorned in hijab a precious pearl so
she abides by Q:24:31 no matter the
Allah among her welfare

she gave glad tidings to her deen
And islam made her her Queen
Not to cause attention she choose
black but green
With her haura she is keen
?ts not a big deal she started this at
Beauty beyong the veil is wat she
wants seen

She doesnt apply any powder
Yet some want to name her the eigth
?n sorrow and pain her comfort lies
in sujood not any shoulder
For islam she is ready anytime to
cross the border
When she walks beauty beyond hijab
just spreads wider

how beautiful can that bee, My hijab protects me from all the eyes of all the uncompanied, helped me too see who i really can be, without the stress to impress the anotherless others, but too impress allah swt with my hijab with its best subhana’Allah.

My hijab and me,
is my true identity!

I wondered the early muslimah’s ability
The command came from the incomparable majesty
Despite series of persecution and hostility
O hijab, the garment of beauty
The enhancer of the quality of my personality
The essence of our reality
The preserver of my dignity and integrity
O hijab, the harbinger of morality
The redefiner of my nobility
The assurer of my tranquility, humility and security
We’re discussing the hijab of piety
Lets display a sense of responsility
O hijab, the protector of my chastity
The nourisher of my purity
Without hijab, i would’ve been a liability
Alhamdulillah, it gives liberty
Now i feel like a celebrity
All admirers says your majesty
Alhaja, Hajia the Queen of sanity
O hijab, for entire humanity
Am enjoying lots of immunity
Knowledge of it is my lost property
All plans against it; just in vanity
Unto Islam i pledge my loyalty
Me and my hijab till infinity
No hijab, no eternity
know hijab, know entirety
Indeed, my hijab is my identity.

She wonders why the seven year old girl is with a hijab
She thinks it is a way of oppression to lead dippression
The argument is that, she is too small for her hijab
This is what she put forward in her conversation

Compulsory sex education for seven year old children
They think it is important for them to avoid pregnancy
Yes indeed, these children are big enough for consideration
If not, they may fail to enjoy their infancy

why the two arguments contradict
i wonder what the lady criticising the hijab going to speak
i know you are trying to cut the branches of the tree thinking as a big commitment
commitment to the society to prevent from challenging track

we do the same from the root
avoid anyone seeing the seven year old girl with lust
protect her from the evil with a suit
out out from her, she is with an identification of hijab with a good taste.

What’s all this tale about the veil?
Fred and Gail shout and hail

Straw as hero
For his hail of fire on Aïsha’s attire.

Did Straw want Aïsha to show
Herself from head to toe?

Let Gail wear a mini-skirt
For her flirt.

And let Aïsha wear on her face
Or on her hair
Whatever piece
That would bring her peace

Vis-à-vis God and vis-à-vis Man.

Oh, man!
Why d’you wish her to disclose

Her beautiful eyes and nice nose
Or her lips or her hips

If that belongs to her?

Come on, Sir!
That body you want her to show

Is a diamond dearer than the glow
Of the face of Marilyn Monroe!

This Hijab is an act of faith
A symbol for everyone to see
That I am a MUSLIM woman
This Hijab is my identity
It shows my truthfulness and integrity
It is act of piety
To preserve my dignity
Because of my Hijab they say am pity

They say i should take it off and be ashamed
But little did they know that this Hijab is my freedom
They say that Im oppressed
Just give it a rest
Don’t you know all this is a test
This is and will always be the way i dress
So Im not stressed
Honestly your just making a mess
Who are you trying to impress
Cause this is not a contest
This is just my way of being a modest

Hijab is what a choose to wear
Why do you even care
I mean this is not rare
It’s all over world so keep it fair
Or maybe i could give you some to share
Cause surely i do have some spare
I could teach you how to wear
So be aware
Don’t compare
And glare
because who knows tomorrow you might actually have a pair

Modesty is what we are
This might sound bizarre
But the Hijab itself is a star
And for some a start
A journey to be a part
Of somemthing so simple and smart
But yet we easily break apart
Modesty is not a form of art
But something in our hearts
Keep it halal and make it a good part
Of something new and remark
Be who you are and not who they want you to be
Cause Hijab is surely something to be proud of

Modesty is not given or taken
But earned and made
Hijab is my secret weapon
And all i need to do is kill u all with that beautiful weapon.

When I walk by they seem to glare but when I turn back they give me a deadly stare, they think all I say is my life’s not fair. They think that I’m not allowed to choose what I where.
They would rather me in a tube top or in a short skirt, but trust this if any Muslim women had to wear that they would fell like dirt
I’m a Muslim women and I’m so very proud and trust me ill say it out loud
Don’t they know I’m happy don’t they know I’m free their ignorance and pride won’t make them agree
I’m happy who I am no one can change me it’s like I’m as free as the waves move the sea
god blessed me with the truth which is islam now that people see me with the viel they give me salam
Beauty within is all you need and inshallah you will agree
To sum it all up I don’t need no kufars respect but I surely don’t want there disrespect.

You see,
Some of them.
They’re looking at me as if my Hijab is oppression.
Hoping Imma come out with some kind of confession,
Saying some nonsense like my dad’s got me wearing it through aggression.
They ignoring the fact that it gives me my own kind of satisfaction,
I’m going crazy without, is like some weird obsession.
It’s funny,
Cuz some of them assuming that my hijab is gonna put through depression,
But how, when all I aim for is succession.
Now don’t get me wrong, I kno it may seem that theirs a lot limitations,
I feel, that I’m the one with liberation.
Because I’m shown more appreciation,
Rather then degradation.
Even though sometimes they may try isolation,
And Anti-the-Muslim Nation,
It never leads a graduation.
Cuz in order to attain a graduation,
They’ll need a combination of realization, and information,
About the right nation.
Because when I wear my hijab I got;
No desperation, and no need for imitation, but rather;
Fascination and determination,
To get to my ultimate destination.
And for those that try to put me in discrimination,
And my people in a “goal to extermination”.
Just remember they the same people who claim that this a civilization,
Is nothing but all about equalization.
So for them, all I gotta do is turn to my creator and make nothing for them but,
So that one-day they’ll join the Right Nation.
And accelerate in being a grateful creation.
To or Lord whose appearance can never degrade to our wild imagination.

—- Asma Mohamed

I wear a hijab and I’m proud with it too.
Following the deen; my lord told me to.
I hold my head high; who cares what you think.
Just like me you were created from a mould of clay.
Just like me, you will return to your lord on the judgment day.
What made you special; your money, your fame?
Or it because you just don’t understand the concept of my aim.

You want me drop the hijab and wear khakis instead.
Dude you better think twice!
It’s my inheritance? So what if I’m black?
We’re both from Adam and Eve, fool!

May you be any colour, Allah doesn’t discriminate.
What matters is on how you participate.

Forgot earthly matters; think about what’s ahead.
Do you want to be the loser or the one who celebrates.
I’ll wear it tomorrow you’ll say, but my dear sister, who guaranteed you you’d live?
You’ll look ugly? Who told you so?
Even so shouldn’t you be concentrating on beautifying your grave, rather than your face?

My Hijabie friends; may Allah put us into his shade, and bless us upon seeing his face.
Oh Allah, shower your blessing upon us, for we do need.
May we be one of the righteous in deen.

A piece of cloth covering the body, why do they wear this, I hear them wonder.
Hijab is like a shield; protecting us from harm.
The beauty is indescribable; better than the shooting star.

You walk on the street, your hijab trailing behind you; so delicacy yet full of comfort.
It’s stronger than the bodied armour more feared than the gore.
How can such a cloth be feared by many; the society in jitters fearing it will grow by each penny.

Modesty is wanted; concerned by many
Wear the hijab and you would feel protected
Oppose the hijab and you would die neglected

To protect is to cover and to cover is to protect.
Ignore the Satan and you will die proud; agree with the Satan and you will die as a fraud.

Hijab is a protection; protecting us from all evil.
A cloth, I know, how can it shield us from such harm?
If you knew the value it had, you wouldn’t give a damn.
To wear the hijab is to be away from all harm.

Covered from head to toe
Women change in quick flow
Going to parties, evil can grow
Deen in their hands that they throw

Some expose by earning pennies
Modesty is wanted and concerned by many
Wear the hijab and you will feel protected
Oppose the hijab and you will die neglected

Then think I’m oppressed
But really who’s deppressed
I wear to express
The true colour I posses

Here I confess
Stop the stereotyping, I request
To hear me loud and clear
As my modesty speaks without fear

We all need Peace and Harmony …
Try to be in the Good Company…
Make hijab your Identity…
You can change your Destiny…
Don’t mind people staring at you…
Don’t you know an Angel is protecting you…

There’s no Age for a hijab…
Forget the World and follow Islam…
You are no one to Criticize a hijab…
Do you even know the Blessings of being under hijab…
Ah ! Little they know and think…
In the shades of Darkness they are going to Sink…

Without hijab there’s one less layer of Protection…
Don’t run towards Temptation…
Shield yourselves from the plots of Shaitaan…
Illuminate your Imaan…
Don’t care what is being said…
You know its your Greatest Asset…

When you are covered you show your Inner Beauty…
Hijab is all about Peace and Dignity …
Evil Glances wont put us down…
Please don’t Frown !
Its the Guidance sent down from above…
Its just our Devotion and Love…

I feel free and relaxed
I’m free from those
Curious eyes
I’m free from outer world
Nobody will care
What I dress any more
What’s the fashion I follow
And whether
It suits me or not
I’m free from such gossips
Thanks to allah
He guides me rightly

i don’t have to waste my time
the whole day
in front of a mirror
no matter how pretty I look
never being satisfied
soon after my eyes follow
someone elses beauty
I’m free from the inner minds
“I should have worn this way
Or the other way”
Im free from being
I feel more confident
And I will know the people
Who are with me for my beauty
And those who are with me
For all good qualities I possess

I will feel proud
To walk along
Fully covered knowing that
I’m a precious gem
To my beloved ones

I will feel proud with my cloak
To say that I’m a muslim
A chosen one among others
To hide my beauty from
Satanic thoughts,minds and eyes

Now I’m a free woman
Protecting my rights
From those who
Try to over rule me
With forcing me to wear
Their fashions,cosmetics etc etc

More than anything
I feel free to communicate with
My lord, to face the almighty
That I obey his law
With no doubts!

Emma is a lawyer
And so is Aisha too
Colleagues going into court
At circa half past two

Its 1 O’clock right now
They grab a bite before the trial
They chat about this and that
Conversing with a smile

Aisha is in full hijab
With a loose all over suit
Emma’s in her business wear
With accessories taboot

Emma’s really quite bemused
At Aisha’s godly ways
She looks Aisha in the eyes
And very firmly says

You’re a smart girl Aisha
Why do you wear that across your hair?
Subjugated by “man”-kind
An object of despair

Take it off my sister
Let your banner be unfurled
Don’t blindly follow all around

Aisha is amazed
But not the least bit shy
She bravely puts her milk shake down
And gives Emma the reply

My dear sister Emma,
Why do you dress the way you do?
The skirt you’re wearing round your waist,
Is it really you?

Now that we’ve sat down,
I see you tug it across your thighs,
Do you feel ashamed?
Aware of prying eyes?

I see the way you’re sitting,
Both legs joined at the knees,
Who forces you to sit like that?
Do you feel at ease?

I’ll tell you who obliges you,
To dress the way you do,
Gucci, Klein and St. Laurent,
All have designs on you!

In the main, its men my friend,
Who dictate the whims of fashion,
Generating all the garb,
To incite the basest passion

“Sex Sells” there is no doubt,
But who buys with such great haste,
The answer is the likes of you,
Because they want to be embraced……

They want to be accepted,
On a level playing field
Sure, with brain and intellect
But with body parts revealed

Intelligence and reason
Are useful by and by
But if you want to make a mark
Stay appealing to the eye

You claim your skirt is office like
A business dress of sorts
Would we not laugh at Tony Blair
If he turned up in shorts?

His could be the poshest pants
Pinstripe from Saville Rowe
But walking round like that my friend
He’d really have to go

Why do you douse yourself with creams
To make your skin so milky?
Why do rip off all your hair
To keep your body silky?

A simple shower’s all you need
To stay respectable and clean
The time and money that you spend
Is really quite obscene

Why do you wake up at dawn,
To apply a firm foundation,
Topped with make up and the like,
In one chaotic combination?

And if you should have to leave the house
Devoid of this routine
Why do you feel so insecure
That you should not be seen?

Be free my sister Emma
Escape from your deep mire
Don hijab today my friend
And all Islam’s attire

Avoid all those sickly stares
Or whistles from afar
Walk down the street with dignity
Take pride in who you are

Strength lies in anonymity
Be a shadow in the crowd
Until you speak and interact
When your voice will carry loud

You’re a smart girl Emma
Wear this across your hair
Don’t be subjugated by “man”-kind
An object of despair

To use your very words my friend
Let your banner be unfurled
Don’t blindly follow all around

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

Stop gawking at my modesty
Stop staring at my clothes
Stop criticising my way of life
Believe me…
I’m happy with what I’ve chosen

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

Listen to me, hear how I speak
My lowered voice, my respectful tone
Hear my honest words ring true
Please listen…
Hear me speak the truth

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

Watching me as I walk down the street
See my lowered gaze
See my self-respect, my virtues
Please see…
My confidence in life grow

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

Can’t you see my innocence?
My simple want to live in peace
Can’t you see I don’t want a fight?
Please believe me…
When I say: “I’m happy!”

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

Please all who are listening
To this poem from the heart
Stop this foolish charade
I’m begging you…
Please see us for who we are

Open your eyes
Open your mind
Open your heart
See me for who I am

A little girl, a grown woman
The elderly lady down the street
We are all happy with our life choices
So please…
Leave us in peace

On an autumn’s day, walking down the street,
Kicking through the leaves, marching to my inner beat.
Furtive glances at the passersby I meet;
I lower my gaze and look at their feet.

As they see me they open wide their eyes,
Their faces showing suspicion and surprise.
An outsider in society –
Separated by outward piety.

A strange creature to be pitied more often despised.
I don’t claim to be knowledgeable or particularly wise;
But, if you ask me, I will tell you –
Hayaa is a virtue.

Morals and guidance sent down from above,
My actions predicated on devotion and love.
The commands of the creator adhered to with faith.
Longing, hoping to see His face.

But my husband doesn’t like me in hijab,
He says I look nice when my hair shows,
So my husband doesn’t like me in hijab,
He says i look lovely when my hair flows,
So i don’t wear hijab.
My husband doesn’t like me in hijab.

So your husband doesn’t like you in hijab you say?
Does your husband not care for both of you entering jannat?
Does your husband understand you wear hijab when you pray?

So whats the difference? You cover your hair,
While your at Allah’s mercy bowing down,
What about during the day, is Allah not there?
What about when your here and there around town?
Is Allah not there?

Who do you want to please?

Nadia Master

You think you dress modest
But do you really?
Far from Islam
If you’re honest

The sun is out
And clothes are discarded
Satan on holiday
Most people astray

Even the person with shorts
And woman with a bikini
Is regarded as modest nowadays

So you compare to them
Kaffirs without shame
Dignity or honour
And say you dress Islamic
But the reality is tragic

I suppose you try your best
To avoid the seduction of kufr
And so you compromise
And go halfway
Not fully Islamic
Or jahil
But somewhere in between
You’re not a hypocrite
But you’re easily misled

Fashion is like a god
Seducing and influencing
Those with weak thoughts
Making them a victim

People stare
But most don’t care
They love the attention
Hijab with tight clothing
And plucked eyebrows with make up

They need a shake up
And told the truth
That they are far from Islamic
And mostly jahil

Tabaruj on display
They might as well dress like the rest
Take of the hijab
And be semi naked

At least Islam won’t be blamed
And they won’t be shamed
For dressing like the non-Muslims
And thinking that they are modest
So take heed
Of these few words
And act upon Allah’s commands
And reject the lure of society
Calling us to impropriety

Through her eyes, what do we see? someone just like you & me, that even so covered shows her inner beauty…

She is nor secluded from either of us, she is just a sister of trust and a sister of peace , love and serenity…

just like you & me she is on a mission… too seek knowledge from all these divisions & descrptions…

Thee hijab is thee defintion of beauty and what only she can truely carry flawlessly….& that in my eyes is a true hijabi

It covers me soo PERFECTLY, While still giving me MODESTY…
It shields my outer BEAUTY, While still shining my PERSONALITY…
It protects me from the ENEMY, While still guided me soo PROUDLY…
My HIJAB is my Friend, Soldier, and my real BEAUTY 🙂

Surah Ar Rahman challenges in the verses of so many
“which is it, the favours of your lord that ye deny”
Can you and me deny?
The same quran ordering you muslim lady
Wear your hijab to live in peace and harmony
But you think it is old fashioned and not a good company
you need the attention and attraction for your hair which is silky and shiny
You think it is your duty to show your beauty
you argue that you are born to enjoy.
Have you ever thought of your last moment
The moment that you think that everybody will lament
No my dear sister this is a well planned arrangement
End of life part-1 which is just a test
In your final journey we will dress-up you. sorry no comment
our ummah will dress up you with a hijab and whole body covered in atleast three pieces of garment
no…… you are not capable of anything dont lament
This is how we are going to dress you whether you like it or not
you will reach your graveyard with hijab
my dear sister why not sit down for a moment
why not think you are being a fithna to the men denying your hijab every moment.

For all the hijabi girl in the world,
Listen to me,
Forget all those idiots out there,
The ones that make you insecure,
Those who call you a terrorist,
Forget those idiots.

For all the hijabi girls in the world,
Remember this,
Be modest,
Don’t show off,
Be proud of islam and that you are muslim,
Forget those idiots.

Looking in the mirror
Fixing my scarf in place
I smile at my reflection
Pleased with the outcome
I step outside
People stare and gawk
I don’t know why
Is my face dirty?
My glasses crooked?
Then I see the glares,
Hear the harsh words
I feel like crying
What’s wrong with me?
I’m just a girl
Someone throws his coke can
It hits me in the head
I can feel the sticky drink
It trickles down my arm
I turn away
Only to hear his curses
Crying I flee
Today I had left home content
I return wounded, beaten
My confidence is gone
Smashed to pieces

Why do you stare
Just because I cover my hair
Why do you glower
Just because of my attire
Why do you seem to think
That I don’t care
That I have no feelings
No sense of compassion
No sense of fashion
No sense of what’s right
And for whom I fight
So just listen to me
Truly… I’m free
I’m part of mortality
Not an alien freak
And this hostility
Is hurting me
Deep inside,
I’m burning
Yearning to break free
Of this stupidity

Why can’t you listen?
Why can’t you open your eyes?
See my tears
See me cry
See me and open your heart
I’m not a strange being
I’m not an invading force
I’m just a human girl
And you have no right
To mess with my affairs
To make rules and laws
That goes against my way of life
Against my sense of what’s true
No matter what you think
I’m not in need of a rescue
I’m happy with what I choose
I don’t need liberating
And I’m not giving up
I don’t need your blessing
To follow my heart
To live my life

But just listen
I’m only asking you to listen
See me for who I am
See me for what I am
Please… I’m asking you
Just for a second
Open your hearts
See the truth
See me for who I am
See me for what I am
Look past the screen
Look past the barrier you see
And look at my personality
I’m not a murderer
I’m not a beggar
I’m not a failure
I’m just a human being
And I just want you to see
Me for who I am

Underneath my scarf
Underneath my hijab
I’m just an ordinary girl
With hopes and dreams
And I want to be free
Of you discriminating me
Because I’ve done nothing wrong
And you shouldn’t convict me
For breaking a law
That doesn’t exist
Leave me in peace
Stop trying to “assist”
Because it’s not helping
It’s just breaking
Our souls
By locking us up
In a jail of hate and scorn
And of adversity
As if we have some fatal disease
And it hurts

So please
Listen to me
When I say
We are already free
We have no desire
No want to shed our attire
We just want to be let free
Of this cage of misery
Of hate
This boundary
That you have helped create
Pay attention to me
Because instead of liberating me
You have thrown me to the lions
And I’m tired of being torn at
I’m tired of being an outcast
I just want to be me
And I want you to see
That you haven’t helped me to be free
Instead you’ve taken that away
Face it… you’ve imprisoned me
And I hope you’re happy
Because I’ve lost my liberty
Why couldn’t you see?
That I was already free…

To put it on as a source of faith is strength.
Wearing it is a form of glory only embodied in Islam.
The lady is bedazzled by its style and galore.
Faith is measured by knowledge and understanding and wearing it denotes a certain level of religious power.
Freedom is exhibited by any act of expression of a person without bringing harm to society.
The veil is a women’s expression of liberty and power against male dominance in their community and in the world.
Why should nudity represent a woman’s freedom and beauty?
Nudity is indecent and its exposure does not equate a woman plight to male chauvinism, but degrades them and further encourages male dominance and control.
Beauty is defined differently by people and the veil as a source of beauty connotes freedom.
Freedom is beautiful.
To choose to wear, so a woman can draw nearer to the Beneficent through piety, is a great beautiful form of expression.
Choice is an act of freedom and will.
To wear the veil is an act of freedom.
A choice to do what is prescribed during your time of will, readiness, and maturity.
Pride is in the freedom to choose and decide.
There is no pride in coercion.
For the connection is a religious obligation of form, beauty, and freedom.

How charming is the muslim girl,
behind the scarf just like the pearl,
The florid face and twinkling eyes,
for the love of God she always hides,
from the lustful glance of sinful heart,
to wear the scarf is really smart,
the worth of beauty lies in it,
that is what says all my wit

covered from head to toe
women change in quick flow
going to parties evil can grow
deen in their hands that they throw

so that men cannot see your beuty
therefore a man cannot call you cutie
its the sin of the eyes
youd be full of lies

how would you feel when another man looks at you like your husband would
to stay pure and sinless like you should, if you could
do you want their eyes to infect your blood
we’re all made of mud so try to stay good

Many people say…
Many people say i suit a scarf i suit a jubah!

This makes me more confindent, to wear them inside and outside.

Many people say…
Well you know what they say

No, its not hard,
When people ask,
 “How do you do it?”
I hold my head high,
Smile and sit.
This is what i say
It’s a choice i made,
To embrace my religion
To be proud of who i am
To Glorify my deen
To be proud of who i am
Hijab on my head
I want to be seen
To be proud of who i am

“But what made you do it?”
The power of Allah,
The power of dua,
Raise your hands and you will see
It’s good for both you and me.

Nadia Master

I walk on the street with my head held high; everyone turns to look
You eye me critically, wondering why I’m dressed like this.
This is my hijab, my life and what I depend on.

You don’t know a thing; you judge me from what you see.
Why don’t you look deep within and see the person I am?

I believe in my religion and I know my creator.
Why don’t you look around and observe your surroundings; after all there is no painting without its artist.

We see, smell and hear everything around us, but who gave us the ability to do so?
Open your eyes wide and see why I am draped in black from head to toe and still hold my head up high.

Who do you think i am when you look at me?
Do you think I’m a gangster or a terrorist?
Just cuz im dress this way don’t mean it describe who I am!
Hold up let me re-check this just cuz im trying
to practice my religion by covering my self up you
call me a terrorist?So,Please don’t misjudge me!
I knoe who i am no need foe your comments
and foul languages. So Just let me do me and you do you!

Every1 should where a hijab it is good and however u get sawab so wat shud u do i shud wear a hijab! ALLAH WIL BE SOO PROUD! SO WAT SHUD U DO U KNOW DA ANSWER!

when you look into my eyez what do you see?

someone who is simply opressed just because the way I dress

as I walk down the street all I see is eyes following me around as if I was an alien

they stare so hard simply wishing that they can see my face

I am like CROW,dressed in black from head to toe

the only thing you can see is my eyez that is open for me to see the way

they want to see my body so they can be amused by it

but my body is to be covered in my modesty and it is not to be seen by any other men expect my husband

their is more to a car than,Rubber,Glass and Steel

And there is more to me than what the eye meets!!!

No I’m not crazy,
And yes I’m for real.
I’m not depressed,
And I’m not controlled.
I’m not a fashion slave,
Nor am I any man’s toy,
I have my own opinions,
And I have my own life.
I have many friends,
I have a personality.
And I have my say,
I also have a word or two,
For those whose thinking is astray.
I don’t care if he likes my hair,
Nor do I care for leather pants.
I think I’m beautiful,
Because God don’t make trash,
I also believe that covering myself
Is also respecting my body and my mind.
Just because you don’t know if my hair
Is red or black?
Or exactly how tight my jeans are,
Doesn’t mean I’m not me,
And don’t have a personality.
Only those who I chose,
Will see the outer me,
And everyone one will see the inner me.
I’ll voice my thoughts,
And I’ll give my ideas.
Whether you believe I have any or not.
I speak silently,
And not just anyone will hear my voice,
But everyone will hear what I say,
And what I believe in.
I’ll walk with my head high,
Without making a sound,
And everyone will see me.
My dress stops you from
Judging me by my body or my clothes.
And forces you to judge me
By my thoughts and my ideas.
Not everyone will see my face,
But everyone will see its glow.
And not anyone can shake my hand,
But everyone will feel my firm hold.
Not everyone can ask what he wants,
But they all know what I would say.
I have a life,
And I’m respected everywhere I go.
Boys don’t bug me nor do they stare.
Because they have nothing to stare at,
But they are forced to look at me.
I am me,
And when I go out I’m covered in black.
Not a thing will show.
Not my hands not my hair.
But my thoughts, and my ideas will.
And when you see me,
You’ll laugh and stare,
Because my hair isn’t showing.
And you can’t see my face.
You’ll think I’m crazy or depressed.
But no.
Only you are for being so ignorant.
So there.

The entire universe wears the hijab…

Earth is protected by the Ozone layer

Swords are protected by their sheaths

Ink dries up without being covered

Apples without skin get rotten

Cell phones are protected by colorful cases

Women are beautiful gems desired by admiring eyes.

Hijab protects her beauty.

I want to wear a Niqab but I probably not. I don’t know how it’s like? While my face is covered from every brother. How it would turn out in a badly weather? When Non-Muslims are stareing it is quite scary. Then I said to myself I’m wearing a Niqab so what. This is my religion Islam. I think back again…. My name is Muslim_girl I want to be a great Mumin and I think about Allah’s command. Niqab people give a great hand they are also beautiful in the whole wide world. (Muslim_girl) Trying to go to Jannatul_ Firdous inshallah in the month of Ramadan >3

O woman of East!
Remember the time when you were in hands of beasts,
Remember when your body was no more than a feast!
Remember when the souls were buried with the dead,
Remember when there was no wisdom in the.. .heads!
Remember the time when the hearts were stone hard,
Remember the time when the chastity, had no guard!
Remember the time when you strangled all your sighs,
Remember when all the tears dried out in your eyes!
Remember when SOMEONE held fast your trembling hands,
Remember from your grave, you were pulled out on the land!
Remember that you were dressed with the clothes of dignity,
Remember a veil was drawn……… over the gaze of impurity!
Remember the revolution…….that you brought into the world,
Remember how motherhood ,.. shaped straight ,the curled!
Remember how you made the human out of the……. animals’
Remember how you created a society out of ………a jungle!
Now !
You prefer the death over the life you were blessed with,
You forgot… wear the clothes your were dressed with!
You left all the modest values aside ,..copying the West,
You forgot your very own self ,…….. the pure,.. the best!
Go and search for the coffin you left beside your grave !
And wear that shame to be alive, if you really are brave!
Don’t forget the lessons of history ,… O woman of East!
Don’t try to make, out of yourself , a feast for the beasts!

Dedicated to the Women of East

Two Muslim girls in a classroom – one wearing a Hijab; the other one without.
The girl with no scarf – eager to have a laugh began to gossip and shout…

“Take off your headscarf – lets see the length of your hair…
Go on just this once – it’s only a dare!”

The girl with the Hijab looked back and proudly replied…
“There is no chance that I’ll let 14 devils float by my side”

The other girl scoffed still wanting to have fun…
“So you’re prepared to roast under the burning sun??”

“Yes – because the heat right now means nothing to me;
It is the hell fire which is extremely scary”

Girl with no scarf – still wanting to say more…
“Why are you wearing it? What is the purpose for?”

“Allah will keep evil and punishment away from me….
This Hijab is there in my life for security…
I love and value my faith – which is why I cover my head”
Smiling the girl in the Hijab had said.

The other girl tensed – but not showing she’s feeling bad….
“Why not show everyone your beauty – once you have, you’ll feel ever so glad!”
“The beauty is inside me – where Islam is growing in my heart…
…appreciating Allah is the way for a happy start!”

At this point, the girl with no Hijab had nothing else left to say…
She knew that the other girl was always joyful and confident each and every day.
She realised that this Sister in Hijab will always remain pure and never will walk in shame….
The girl with no scarf knew she wanted to be exactly the same.

This is why, when she went home – she made a very big decision.
She realised that loving Allah can put you in such a wonderful position.
In the classroom, the next day – this girl was wearing her Hijab for the first ever time – feeling so proud…
Looked at the other girl whom she had made fun of before had said out loud…

“Oh sister of Islam – forgive me for the things I have said….
Seeing the love you hold for our religion has today made me cover my head…
Your sweet and caring words that you so dearly expressed…
Made me see how Islam has given you so much respect
I know that Allah will gift those who follow Islam….
Wearing my Hijab – I know that I will be safe from any harm.

Thank you My Sister – for you who I now admire and congratulate
Together as Muslims, we should aim to reach Jannat’s Gates.”

The first girl – amazed, had happiness all over her face
Smiled with love and gave the Sister a lot of praise.
“Marshallah Sister – Indeed Allah will purify your heart and your deen…
Continue love for our faith and in Heaven we will be seen…
Wearing the Hijab – we will always stay as the ‘Respected

Famed creature of nobility
You engender respect wherever you prowl
Be it jungle green
Concrete office park
Your distinguishing mark ?

Undisputed Head of the Pride
Every member in their place
Mates and cubs alike
Your badge of authority?

Fearless hunter
Balance maintainer
Fulfilling your role
With dignified panache
Your Royal Seal?

So, then,
What sets you apart from the rest?
Marks you as one of the best?

The Mane, of course
What would the lion be without his mane?
One sorry pussy cat!

i walk down the street
and bealive me all i see is mostly naked muslim sisters
tight jeans with a mini shirt
is like eating pig worse a piece of dirt
and you do all that so the young brothers can see you and start to flirt
but wake up and smell the garden
your mind is like a rock never understands but worse you just harden
cover your body up
before its late
cause life dosnt last forever
ands thats coming straight from fate
so dont act like im just trying to hate
im real on mines cant stick to the script?

cant understand me well above i be
and heaven is higher then me
look around there nothing to see in life

My hijab is what makes me feel right.
My hijab brings my hopes up.
My hijab makes me realize.
That who cares what people say.

Words can’t harm you
Words won’t break you
Words make you a stronger person.

Let them say all they want
I’m not even gonna bother asking why…
My hijab is me.

I can’t let myself lose to a bunch of non-muslims
I have to remember…
That who cares
I’m here and wearing a hijab with proudness
I’m here and wearing my hijab with no effectness upon my decision

I can’t bare enough to hear them say one more word
I can’t let myself to them
I am a muslimeen
I have to stick to my duties
I am a person who doesn’t really care,
I only care for the acceptness of Allah and my hijab.

Dress in black got it all covered up
They think I’m oppressed
But really who’s depress?
I wear to express
The true color I posses
So the time has come for me to confess
Stop the stereotyping I request
I don’t them fancy dresses
Or public presses
To hear me loud and clear
As my modesty speaks without fear

I go inside a store and..What do I see?
I see all the people looking at me
The first things that come to there mind is…
9/11..Al-Qaeda..Taliban and Jihadist
They see me wearing this scarf and say to themselves:
“Oh that poor oppressed girl! She doesn’t know how to take care of herself!”
Excuse me! Did you ever look at yourself?!
You think your wearing clothes..but your actually not..if you know what I mean
I’m sorry lady, but..those clothes are NOT for me
I fear God and you should too
And if you don’t, then know that your a fool

After all that..I finally understand the hadith
Where the Prophet (SAW) said that I should be a Ghareeb
A stranger..just passing by this world
To enter Paradise..the true..everlasting..goal!

The Hijab covers my body,
The Hijab covers my heart,
The Hijab lets me walk with pride,
My Hijab tells the world my identity,
My Hijab is the Connection between Allah (SWT) and me.

I never can find the right words to say,
I just go with the flow each & everyday.

I never knew there could be love like this,
In a world full of cayos its always you i miss.

If there was one thing I could ask Allah for,
I would tell him that its you i adore.

My heart skips a beat when i hear the door,
because i know its you coming back for more.

Since we had the two babies together,
I know we can withstand any kinda weather.

I will make dua for you and me,
that we can be in Jennah and always be.

I will love you forever,
you have the key to my heart,
you unlocked it so now we can never part.

My eyes are full with tears,
but I’m not going to cry,
I just cant wait for the day that i die.

The sooner that happens,
the sooner it will be.

With Allah’s mercy,
Just You and Me.

O My Love
Where are you???
Come and take me!
Take my heart and my soul
I promise to love you
Until the day I die
I’ll hold you tight
And never make you cry
I want your hugs and I want your kisses
Because without you
I can not live
I want you by my side everyday when I awake
I’ll be your dream wife
And give you all my life
I’ll cook and clean for you
Before a blink of an eye
Dinner will be ready and served
When you come home from a long day at work.
I’ll give you beautiful kids
And with Allah’s help
We’ll raise them the best way we can
I’ll never hurt you
Or talk back to you
Because between me and you
InshaAllah there will never be a fight
And I may not know anything about you
But in my heart I know that I already truly love you
I pray to Allah everyday
To give me a sign
That you are near
Because I’ve been searching
For you for so many years
And I can not wait for the day
When you come and take me away
Because I know from above
In our books
We are written for each other
Until that day comes
My heart will be incomplete
And it will be filled with so much pain
Pain that can only be healed
When you are here
And I’ll dream of you every night
And wish you were here
Sleeping by my side holding me tight

A simple life made so bright,
You are my star my guiding light.
Forever and all you will be mine,
In this life and paradise.
You are my own my loving wife!

“My Love for you is Indescribable.”

My love for you is Indescribable
Growing by the day,
Sometimes love is Speakable,
But with this poem I’ll make it even more Expressible

Without a doubt we are Compatible
This bond so strong,
Even through hardships,
We’ll stand strong,

Indeed your a handsome man
One who is Respectful,
A Dutiful Husband,
Loyal, and Faithful
The way you teach me, with kind words
This world seems more Beautiful
With you I’ve shared so much, so easily Comfortable
You see you know my Troubles
And you can easily fix me like pieces of a Puzzle!

My love for you is Indescribable
Growing by the day,
Sometimes love is Speakable,
But with this poem I’ll make it even more Expressible

You see even with the little you have,
MashaAllah you are so Humble
Always Thankful,
And help me realize how anythings Possible
When ever I’m in Trouble,
Or when I Stumble and Ramble
Your always so caring,
To me you still are the most Lovable
Our Love Unique,

You see my love for you is Indescribable
Growing by the day,
Sometimes love is Speakable,
With words of
“I love you,”
But I hope this poem has made it even more Expressible

“And among His Signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He put love and mercy between your hearts. Verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.” [Sûrah Rûm: 21]

as’salaamu alaikum wa Rahamatullahi ta’ala wa Barakutuh beloved brothers and sisters in Islam here is yet again another poem i would like to share with you guys inshaAllah Ta’ala and I hope this message reachs you guys in the highest Iman and in good health inshaAllah Ta’ala Ma’Salaam……

If had to imagine a guy that I would spend the rest on my life with without doubt I would choose you

you have passed all the test for the best husband in the world it’s time we start to bulid our nest of love

we both live in the west where we are surounded with tempatation everywhere you go you see woman clothed but naked

showing off their body without any shame at all

so they can trap men with it and let them be amused by it But you lower your gaze and just walk away brush those womans off as if they were dust

you hold yourself back and control your lust I know every muslim girl has a guy like you in mind

you are one of kind that is hard to find

The one who follows the deen is better than than the one who smokes weed and kicks back and relaxs in this dunya

that will melt away like ice creame

you fear Allah subanahu wa ta’ala so much you break into tears just thinking about the blazing Hellfire

you get so sad when you hear that someone passed away as if you knew your death was so near

in life you went through so much pain but it’s cool though Alhamduillah you gained so much as well it drives me insane just thinking about how much I love you oh future hubby to be!

Your sweet as honey,
Your pure as Gold,
Your light as air,
You lift my soul,
You say sweet words,
You lay and sleep,
You’ve given so many nights for me,
Your pure at heart,
You share your love,
You’ve given me all of the above,
You say you love me…And I love you,
And so I’d like to give something to you,
A promise that should never break,
A promise I could never fake,
My hand is yours,
My life is too,
As we walk together,
I’ll limp with you,
So dont despare for I am here,
Waiting for you to get so near,
Not long to wait,
These restless nights,
And days weve had to stand and fight,
Ones heart desires to not give up,
For what will come will be enough,
More than a dream,
I’ve longed for you,
That beautiful man,
So sweet, So true,
And now I’ll finnish with a line,
To make you smile, and laugh, not cry,
So here it goes,
From Catherine to Aman,
I love you,
My lovely,

If Islaam is the key to my heart,
Then it unlocked much,
And amongst it contents is the greatest gift,
the greatest treasure from amongst the obligations,
The love for my mother, my father, my family,
Top of this love is the Love for my Lord,
Then His messenger,
What is this blessing which I am talking about?
It is the love which i found,
Not there before
i read the things our messenger SAW said,
This love was caused by something great,
but whatever it is,
It was unlocked by Islam,
This love entered my heart never to leave again,
This love is pure, made true by my deen.
This love is there as true as death, it is the love for one,
My Love
My wife…

May Allah SWT grant us the best of spouses in this world and reunite us with them in Jannah Inshaallah… ameen

Love me so I can love you
Hug me so I can hug you
Kiss me so I can kiss you
Marry me so I can marry you

Stay with me, forever and a day
And I will love you until my very last breath
Even then my last words will be “I love you”

No matter where you are
Think of me
Don’t ever forget me
Love me with all your heart and I’ll do the same

Me, you and our love
That’s all I need to be happy
The end seems just around the corner
Because there are so many obstacles to overcome

I want to see your face
So I can have the memory of you forever
I want to see your smile
So I can see you happy

My love
I love you
That’s all it comes down to

Dedicated to my one and only love
Insha’Allah, we will be together for eternity

Be not a master
There is but the Only-One
Be not a slave
For you already are one to the One-and-Only
Be a companion true
To ease the Journey’s blues

(In every line there is always a reason, A story.
I was moved by my feelings
and this inspired me to write this simple dedication,
For my loving wife and my best friend forever)

“You are my wife, a part of my life.”

You are Gods given blessing,
A missing part that keeps my life running,
Without you I am not changing,
You made my world complete and turning.

I was so lonely and so sad,
This feeling is always getting me mad,
So soon as I know and hold you,
the same is the time that I left you.

Everyday is like a million night,
Without you here by my side,
I got to be strong, I got to be right,
But the strength I have is getting dried.

I never loved you more than before,
Longing for you, I always do more…
Missing the hugs and the kisses,
More so your care and embraces.

Hoping that time would go by,
And the years would easily past by.
I want to meet you and continue,
Our loves journey as we go through.

I always adore you, I will always care,
Distance do not matter, And no matter what,
I will always be there, because…
You are my wife, and you’re a part of my life.

I am yours,
Forever true,
Will my heart always desire you,
For I can see your beautiful heart,
Your eyes, your ears, Your lips, A spark,
Of this true love,
A love divine,
Have our eyes met a thousand times,
Yet waiting here,
A soul untouched,
Thats wishing for your every love,
A small embrace,
The slightest kiss,
From my cheek,…onto your lips,
A soul thats covered by another,
Protection is the greatest cover,
So I dont fear this restless place,
For I have you…
My love…
My faith…

A Real Man – A Real reply

The search for a real man
Definitely will not end
A perfect ten – from an ordinary man?
He must be a gem, a godsend

This is human nature
As we seek the highest stature
To date only Rasulullah (pbuh) fits the bill
A rare diamond a prophecy fulfilled

From the ordinary folks
A real man is not a joke.
Impossible as it is!
The search should start from the West to the East

But before the search is on
Please look upon
A self-reflection should be in order
As a Muslim has a lot to shoulder

Surely a real man exist
In this world a temporal oasis
But the question is?
Where can you find him as we perceive?

Looking at her criterions – a difficult task is at hand
Surely there is a man but not a perfect ten
As his actions seeking Allah’s consent
But sister will you be contend?

A man is not free from sin
This is the fact this is the scene
Men do make mistakes
So sister what is your take?

The real man you’re seeking
Is it a reality or just wishful thinking?
I hope your search will not be in vain
A real man is not a bargain either he is a pain

A real man for a real woman*
That is the main concerned
A mirror image the complimentary roles
As Islamic teachings they dearly hold

It is not enough wanting others to do good
As the same applies to us as it should
Thus when seeking for a real man – a life partner
The search begins from you and not from other

Even striven stars fall from above
Forgive me for the words I forbade my lips to speak of
I’m giving you all my love
God knows I’m tough enough

If I had one wish
I would wish for a real man to come and take my hand
A real man who knows how to understand
Not a man who drinks and cheats
But a real man who actually has a heartbeat
Not a man who looks back at his ex
Or niether a man who all he thinks about is sex
But a real man who doesn’t play dirty tricks
A real man who comes home to his wife
Not a man who spends time on the street
Not a man whose mistakes repeat
But a real man who is complete
Won’t take a man who plays hard like concrete
Ima take a real man with real commitment
Not a man who feeds me lies consistent
But a real man who speaks the truth from his heart
Not a man who says “Lets restart”
A man who makes me laugh when I break down
Not a man who keeps chasin’ girls around town
Won’t take no man who acts like a clown
Won’t take a man who treats me like dirt
But a real man who treats me like a millions worth
A real man who’ll rock his baby back and fourth ’till he or she fall asleep
A real man who wants to become a good father
Not a man who disrespects his mother
Won’t take a man who’s a heart crusher
I’ll take a real man who’s smart
A real man who’ll never want to be apart
I want a real man who’s outgoing and funny
Not a man who stays a dummy
I want a real man, “the girls’ ideal man”
In short, a man who rarely exists

It always seems like Im waiting
Wating for what?
Im not really sure
Although I know I want out
In 2 maybe 3 months
Ill start another year
And repeat that process till God wants me outta here
I gotta make a change
I gotta be better
‘Cause if I dont
I know Ill be a Heller
And who wants to be that
When they could make their future better
And enter the Jannat
And live there forever
So starting from now
Ima try harder in school
If I succeed or not
I wont be a damned fool
And when the time comes to pick the right one
Ima pick a man with deen
‘Cause I know then he will be complete
No matter his flaws
No matter his looks
He can study medicine or law
It dont matter about the books
As long as he is faithful to God and me
Inshallah we’ll be together for eternity
That includes this life and the next
‘Cause marriage is half the deen
So we wont be like the rest
And listen to God only

Looking for the better halve
– Is just like doing art and craft
Creative and patience play a part
Regardless where do you start!!

A girl yearning for love is natural*
In this life a temporal
But the pursue for a life partner
Has made many fixed in a corner.

The pressure of society
Forced down without a pity
A girl so nice and pretty
May change to be naughty?

But this should not be the attitude
As to Allah we show our gratitude
To withstand the pressure
She must guard her treasure

That the love for Allah**
As defined by Rasulullah
The ultimate for a servant
The dream of heaven***

Husband can wait
Don’t rush for a date
Infatuated by a serenade
As life is full of charade

It’s difficult to ignore
The feeling the girl poured
The deep meaning in store
The heart it tore

But she manages her love well
Petty things she didn’t dwell
A feeling for Allah that is swelled
Long terms commitment that gelled

The pray is for all like her to have patience
Insha’allah a man will soon come to your destination
But if he does not stop at your station
Please don’t despair, as Allah knows your good intention

A greater plan is reserved for you****
It may not come in a day or two
But believe me – Allah knows best
Take this as part of your test!*****

* Al-Qur’an 3:14 “It was made attractive to people, the love of things they crave; women, sons, heaped-up heaps of gold and silver, branded horses, cattle and will-tilled land. But that is for the enjoyment of this worldly life, But Allah, with Him is the beautiful homecoming”

** Al-Qur’an 2: 165 ‘And yet there are some people, who replace Allah with rivals, loving them as Allah is loved. But the believers love Allah more intensely”

*** If Allah would love his servant He would call Archangel Gabriel and tell him “I love this person, therefore love him.” And Jibraeel would love him and call out in the heavens “Allah loves this person, therefore love him.” And the inhabitants of the heavens would love him. Then he would be embraced by the people of this world. But if Allah would abhor his servant, He would call Jibraeel and tell him “I abhor this person, therefore abhor him”. And Jibraeel (AS) would abhor him and call out in the heavens “Allah abhors this person, therefore abhor him.” And the inhabitants of the heavens would abhor him. Then he would be abhorred by the people of this world.” (Muslim)

**** Al-Qur’an 3:54 54. And (then unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah.

***** Al-Qur’an 67:2 He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed:

Your The Reason Why I keep Smiling,Your The Drive That Keeps Me Going

You Possess The Key To My Heart,You Are The Sacred Keeper That Unlocks My Heart

Your Presence Alone Brings Me Happiness
You Are Truly My Prince Charming

Riding On The Horse Of Taqwa,Holding The Qur’an On Your Right

And Sunnah On Your Left,And Giving Glad Tidings To The Strangers!

Ya habibi you are the one that I hold dear to my heart, how can I describe you

Ya habibi you are the one that brings joy into my life

Ya habibi just thinking about your sense of humor that puts big a smile on my face

Ya habibi what did I do to deserve a guy like you, your one of kind
thats so hard to find nowdays

Ya habibi we live in world full of lies and deceit
it makes hard to trust people,Ya habibi but I truly trust you with all my heart

Ya habibi I hope to with you like I am in this world and as well as hereafter inshaAllah

Ya habibi I hope to love you for the sake of Allah Swt only,

Ya habibi know that I will be there for you in times of struggle and in times of ease in times of sorrow and in times of happiness,

Ya habibi I always want to see you happy and forever smiling inshaAllah,

I like YOU so much no words can ever describe how I feel i about you ya habibi….

Love is when your lust is fed.
When your dreams come true outside your head.
When the sun above you smiles and nods.
And you’ve found real peace against the odds.
Love is when your heart is tumbling,
when you feel the earth beneath you rumbling,
when you pray and light shines down upon you,
and you sparkle with hope to all around you.
Love is when you found a place,
where you filled with joy an empty space.
when your words are true and you speak with pride,
And you leave spies mouths open wide.
Love is what you breath and eat,
when you feel it tingle down to your feet.
When you look in ones eyes and you see your fate,
and know from now that life will be great.
Love is when the angels smile,
when you dream of mermaids in the Nile.
When anything you doubted is suddenly clear,
and peace of mind replaces your fear.
Love is what we dream upon,
when we’re stuck and don’t know how to move on.
When its your very hands that shake,
and you know the next move you should make.
Love is here in front of your eyes,
just look, you’ll see I speak no lies.
Love’s all around you ,inside and out,
cuz if God is there then love is about!

Your Eyes
are rivers of happiness

In their depth a beautiful melody
provoking my deepest fears

Lost within their beauty
amazed by crystal falling tears

A rain caressing my body
wishing that you were just here

I love you when you cry
and looking at your beautiful face its clear

everytime you smile at me I fly
to a destination which is not clear

What can I give, what can I offer
but a million “love” and a destiny

in the hand of the All Knower

may He protect you and bring you back to me
safe and sound my Dear.

(written for me by my husband)

as’salaamu alaikum wa Rahamatullahi ta’ala wa Barakutuh here ia another poem that i would like to share inshaAllah Ta’ala and I hope this message reachs you in the highest iman and in good health inshaAllah ta’ala Ma’Salaam

how do I describe that which stirs deep down inside of me,

the way I feel about you is beyound this world

this feeling that I can not be explained

I do I tell that which my lips can not utter

yet my heart speaks the feelings loudly

but can not be heard

when I gaze upon you it feels as if I’m seeing for the first time

when I hear your tender loving voice my heart starts to beat real fast

it nearly skips a beat, makes it harder for me to catch my breath

you are one of kind that’s hard to find

it brings joy to my heart that you’re truly mines Luv

Get me a connection, ya Allah..
Though, i want it to be virtual..
And let me tell it to you, ya Allah..
For you are the All Knower, the bearer of witnesses..
Of how i feel, how far i yearn, or how much i truely miss my future better half!

Yet it may seem to be a superfluous languish to many..

As long as i’m sure of the fact, “You are the Concealer, the Protector”!
And always would i be sure of it, thus commensing with my ready to flow heart..

Tell him my Lord, that my whispers mean a lot;
Words just frailing to topple into the intimacy..
Show him your straight path, that which i would want for my very own self..

Cover him up Ya Allah, with my warm caress and tenderness..
Only affordable through your everlasting Grace upon him..

I ask of you Allah; Send him my greetings, send him my love..
Send him Peace on my regards..

Reassure him of my undertakings, oh Almighty!
Let him see how much i entreat you, to make me perfectly special for him..
Of how pleasurable it occurs to me, in transforming myself as a loving wife to be..

Lest would i displease him in any way; Passionately comforting him in every way!
Giving him earnest support with my body, mind & soul..

As of letting him know of these Ya Rab, soothe his soul with my innate presence..
For eyes could percieve, but little; While hearts can still twin up from miles apart..

Make him righteous amongst his folk, Ya Allah;
Shower him with your bounty of Mercy..

Let him be at his best in simulating the loving Prophet (pbuh),
When certainly, striving to be the best towards his Wife!

What more will his lady love need?
When he upholds his deen, without sparing the examplary..?

Thus, i submit to you My Master, this brief petition with atmost care,
With love for my man, only thriving more, as time races into a life that we would share,
Setting together intentions, so pure & a relation that can never endure!

I have tried very hard,
to get a fine looking match,
but the journey seems not to last,
as my eyes lie when they glance,
at those “girls” who play hard,
Now and forever as time pass,
i will wait for her to come,
and we live a life that a bides,
a true sweet love for life,
which Allah has proclaimed!

On the hill looking at the dark sky
I wonder if what you say is true
I don’t care but please just stay with me,
I only want to stay here with you…

But what happens when the day ends
And the moon comes and shines on us?
And when stuff goes bad; don’t be afraid
Please make sure you don’t break my truss

We are now the best of friends
No more papers and pens
We will have no more letters
And just talk till the world ends

My mind so focused in perfecting my obedience to the Deen,
That I did not realize when you slipped in,
I thought that I put all the walls up high,
So that no one could get by,
So when did you get inside?

Its not like you did anything to entice me,
In fact your unassuming presence never before even made an impression on me,
Its just the way you handled a certain situation,
That planted the quiet seeds of admiration

I first brushed those growing feelings aside,
But when I could no longer hide,
I took it to my Lord in prayer,
To weed out and keep those feelings at bay,
For I thought it was my nafs at play

My heart quietened down,
My resolve to avoid you at all costs grew firmer,
But a sudden chance encounter,
Has set my heart back a flounder!

Ya Allah, what does this mean?
I read istikhara with the intention of steering clear,
To stamp out shallow emotions that don’t last,
Its always worked in the past,
Now I have become paralyzed with guilt and fear,
What if I transgress boundaries so dear,
Please Ya Allah help me, Ya Haadiu set me free as You see fit,
I don’t want to end up in that eternal pit!

People journey for an answer,
till one is relaxed and complete.

My search has long come to an end,
cause I found an amazing friend.

Great personality in soul and mind,
is why she is truly one of a kind.

She cheers you up with just a word,
or simply gives you a simile worth more than gold.

No matter how far its easily seen,
her purity and elegance resemble a queen.

Better than a mouthful of cupcakes,
her name is so nice , you say it twice.

Details of her are never ending,
only hope one day Im also worth defending

What is love?
My definition of Love:

The guy I want my future with,
The guy I want to marry,
The guy I want to cater for, in everyway.
When he is sad, alone and scared…
I want to be there to let him cry on my shoulder,
Confined in me and trust me.
I want to go to bed and wake up in the morning with him by my side,
I want to bore his kids,
Bring them up, seeing the beauty of Allah.
When he is ill, weak with no strength,
I want to be by his bedside,
And tell him stay strong, everything will be alright,
Through every tear, and every hardship,
Allah will be by our side.
I want to grow old with him,
I want to die in his arms,
And most importantly be with him in paradise!

If this is what love means…then I love you.

By Shumina Uddin

This poem is to someone who i love the most
and…….who inshaallah i will merry 3yrs from now!

Promises I made to you are going to last forever
Don’t worry about me leaving you

Cuz I love you for your iman, your diin, and how respectful you are
Nobody could compare to you
Not even a star
You’re so amazing and encouraged me for the better
I love how you give me advice and listen so clear
I promise to merry you
Don’t worry about my timing
Insha’Allah I will always be near
I know you’re a good son to your mother
And have responsibilities by your father
Make your mother happy and take care of your little sisters
The day I merry you all our worries will end
I Promise to never make your worried
I Promise to love you with all my heart
I Promise i’ll do everything you love
I Promise i will spend my life learning Diin with you.
I believe that im the one and only who loves you as much as i do.
And i’ll always be TRUE!

When two hearts meet
A beginning from a lovely seed
A love story far exceeds
Of Romeo and Juliet it supersedes

An Islamic love story that had never been told
As this is about to be unfold
A lady matured and bold
A kind young lad with a sincere soul

There is no tragic end
In Islam love is Godsend
When two hearts unite
In Allah it is tied.

Or when two lovers greet
From an Islamic breed
And when love meets
It is a blessing indeed

In Islam, this is the nature of love
Like a pair of lovely doves
As Allah (swt) is put far above
Of all things as HE truly deserves

The love between a man of 25 and a woman of 40*
Never it shown a line of faulty
As the pair lived happy**
For Islam they sacrificed aplenty

She was a pious wife
She was willing to loss her wealth and even life
When the enemies cut like a knife
This is the path they strived

A love story without a twist
As husband and wife they lived in peace
The storms they conquered together
This is the lesson we gather

In Islam love is sweet
Not just merely announcing in facebook, flickr or just tweet
A love story of ups and downs with plenty of sacrifice
As Jannah is the ultimate price

A true love story shown by Khadijah (ra) and Rasululllah (saw)
Just for the sake of Allah (swt)
Now to seek this glory
We have to learn from this Islamic Love Story

Now Muslims are in a state so sad and sorry
When A Twilight Saga “Breaking Dawn” – The Vampire story
A movie we relish and cherish
All Islamic examples thus go unnoticed! Alas it shall perish

But when this happened
Islam will never be awakened
So Muslims take heed
The many examples from the Islamic creed

* The Status of Khadijah (ra): “Jibraeel came to house of Rasulullah (SAW) and Khadijah (RA) was there. Jibraeel said: “Allah sends his salaam to Khadijah.” Rasulullah (SAW) said: ”O Khadijah, Allah is sending His salaams to you.” She said, “Allah is As-Salaam. And upon you O Jibraeel, be as-salaam and upon you Rasulullah be as-salaam.” (Bukhari)

** Al-Quran 30:21 “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”

Ardent Love …
Is a madness,
An addiction,
Causes blindness and deafness
No rhyme, no reason
No time, no season
Totally Emotional
Not slightly Intellectual
Leave alone Practical
In fact, quite Nonsensical…
I love you…
But I don’t quite know why
It’s not your kindness nor your goodness
Nor your piousness
Do you lie?
Maybe not even your wealth or looks
Certainly not your dedication to the books
Maybe you even make me cry…
It’s just the way I feel…
You make my head reel
Problem: How long will it last
Before this feeling says Goodbye?
Then it’s just hurt and sadness
A passionate hate to fill the emptiness…
It is like being on heat…
An animal?
Now I’m insulted and quite ashamed
Oh no, no control over my own self
For emotions untamed
Cummon, Get hold of yourself!
The Deen prescribes the middle path
Make that list of attributes you admire
Read that Istigaraah
Pray that your Nafs’s desire
Those seducing Whispers
Doesn’t land you in the hell-fire!

For someone who has my heart

I know, you grew up and lived in the West
Very different from mine, the eastern
But I do not seem to believe
Because you are so strong in faith and piety in Allah
Makes you not fall in the arms of sin

All that you tell me
Your views about life, marriage, and all
Make me realize that you are the man that deserve to be waiting for
You are so right
You are so full of love

No matter though oceans separate us
We are on two different continents
We live in different countries
I do not speak your language
and you can not speak my language
But we speak the language of the heart and faith
We talk so easily and God help us
I feel we are destined to be together
Like, I’ve known u for a long time before
I dont know when and where

You said that the concerns of cultural differences and habits, it is not necessary
You feel we could be close so easily
Feel comfortable with each other
Like finding the missing parts of your hearts
Oh my God, maybe he is my soulmate?
maybe I was his missing ribs?

God, we hope You always give us guidance
And you can make us together if You will
I hope he is the one i will spend my life with
And i am the one he will spend his life with
I hope he is here
Or i am there
Or we are together everywhere

When the wind howls and..
Blows me away with the sand..
The moon takes place..
Shooting darkness at my face..

I stay captive – But no one knows..
For it only happens when I’m alone..
The show begins as it displays my fears..
My heart beat quickened as I burst in tears..

Then I feel the warmth of your arm..
Clinging around me like a charm..
I hold on you tightly, then try to call..
To make sure you hold me and not let me fall..

Suddenly everything comes back in place..
As the sun locks the moon away in it’s case..
When the light fills my eyes I silently pray..
For your love to be with me everyday!

A brand new start,
A love divine,
A sweet sweet taste thats so inclined..
To fulfil my wish, and his wish too,
To marry eachother so so soon,
A gift from above,
Thats wrapped with a bow,
But I have to wait till the day we’ll know,
Of that,
A dream,
Is all I have,
Of how you look,
And then we’ll grab,
Eachothers heart and wont let go,
In the promise of another tomorrow,
So dont stop here for time will tell the tale of which Ive longed to sell,
To those in need of an open heart,
Accepting us, true love, a spark,
We can certainly show them,
All the rest,
That we will live strong and become the best,
The best of that our lives could lead,
And Allah will be pleased with us indeed….

Insha allah…

She is a princess,
She is my queen,
She is better than everything I have seen,
I give her my love,
My love and my vow,
Like flowers that preach I smell of her joy,
She is so lively,
Beautiful and young,
That at times when I see her; my heart goes gong,
I love her,
She is too precious,
Like the clothing of the sacred house her attire is religious.

It’s as though your eyes have skies within,
As though a starry night has formed.
You look at me and all I can see is ……

It’s as though your lips are blowing out
a perfume, a song and breeze.
You speak to me and all I can hear is ……

Its as though your hands hold all my pain,
Open but still crushing all my fears.
You hold my hand and all I feel is ……

It’s as though your heart is a magnet,
pulling me closer, letting me know.
You hug me tight and all I feel is ……

There is no such thing as love at first sight, looks will fade along with energy, but the heart remains the same.Love can only ever come after tests and hardships, most of us are still yet to witness true love(that includes me), many of us wont witness it ever. Love does not mean living with someone and having kids, responsibilities and duties.
It doesn’t mean jealousy, control or possessiveness. It doesn’t mean cuddles or endless gifts and flowers.
No, Love means…admiration of one’s soul and strength, pride and honor in who you are yourself, it means complete and doubtless trust and it only ever becomes real, when you marry and love for the sake of Allah(SWT).

sometimes we get lost in a moment,
with a look
a hug
a kiss
and a feeling so divine

to hold that moment
so close to your heart
and always remember it.

a moment that captures
a smile,
a heartbeat,
that which brightens your day
and takes you so far away.

a moment that pushes your heart
to feel, to believe, to attract
even as your heart beats so fragile
it will build a bridge to hope.

a special moment so true,
a moment so unique,
a moment to treasure,
a moment to feel safe,
and a moment to never forget,
i want to have that moment with YOU.

A young girl I know who is much in love,
she’s always infatuated with the idea of love.

She sees couples holding hands,
she comes to wonder,
when will it be my turn…

She wants to keep that heart full of infatuation,
for the right man, the wonderful husband.

She sees handsome men with beautiful women,
do I even look like anyone of them?
She gets envious of these people,
hoping that she could be just like them.

Am I not beautiful or smart enough?
Because I’m being ignored and they’d always blabber stuff.

O dear God, help me please,
correct my intention and put my heart at ease.

Make me tawakkal and redha,
make me dependent on You, ya Allah.

I don’t want to be envious of these worldly things,
please console me, tell me I’m doing the right thing.

Tell me it’s right to keep first my love,
for You ya Rabbi, and for the man I love.

When he comes to take my hand,
I promise to be the best I can.
A wife, a daughter, a mother and a child,
of course being Your servant is the most worthwhile.

The last page of a fairy tale
Has been rewritten
And changed into a tragedy
So don’t cry my friend

Even for the one person’s heart who believed
Nothing has been lost for long
Memories are nothing compared to life
Reality is always strong

But even now, I cannot forget
That song you always used to sing
It echoes in my chest,
I’ll will return to that day last Spring

There’s been a chain surrounding me,
That I will shake off . . . forever
One day we’ll meet again
Our two worlds linked together

Our fate has been decided;
Together we will never fall
So don’t worry of what to come
Our fate will conquer all

I wonder if we’ll ever go
back to where we used to be.
You and I
were inseparable
or so I thought
Ah! Silly old me.
Time proved me wrong
so maybe
just maybe
time itself will bring you back to me.
until then
I will hold ever so close
the silent thoughts of you
as company.

If my love is attached to Thee
Then from sin I will be free

Each time my heart will beat
Your name will resound with heat

With your name shivers my each limb
They seek to be released from whim

Allah, Allah, is my hearts speech
Your Mercy is what I beseech

The Most Merciful keep me content
With all that You have sent

Keep in my heart Your remembrance
And in Your deen and love allow me to advance

Help me in my quest
Permit me to pass the ultimate test

Save me from the clutches of Satan
Give me death upon Imaan.

Oh my dear brotherd and sisters,
We are meant to be a good example for the dsbelievers.
But do we not really see in our daily lives in this evil society,
Some ignorant Muslims doing acts of indecency.
They possess bad manners in morality, no shame,
Forgotten their goal and aim.
Heedless as if they have gone insane.
Some bearded brothers are smoking cigarettes openly with no regrets,
Its clearly written on all the packets smoking kills so you gain no benefit.
And the doctor warned them of cancer,
Sadly they passed away departured to the hereafter,
We hope they will enter Jannah, InshAllah, He alone is the forgiver.
There are many young women who imitate men, wearing tight jeans and garments,
Applying forbidden alcoholic scents, passing by all kind of gents.
We all know this is Haraam, it is surely not the way to achieve salaam.
O my sister may Allah bless you for putting on your scarf,
But for the heedless ones it is only a half.
And wearing CK, Calvin Klien who is gay.
Why talk and laugh aloud and then feel bigheaded and proud,
In the restaurants and on road knowing that is not your private abode,
So blatently that just showed,
How a Muslim girl with a Islamic dresscode could do as she pleases,
Following desires and gaining independant diseases.
How can you wear a Hijaab, and talk evil and boast and blab.
Some Muslim sisters reveal the shapes, flesh of their body which is prohibited by the Almighty. Far away from modesty.
You dare hug a man on the street, unlawfully socialise and greet,
Meet and eat with him in the park in broad daylight, not even in the dark.
Nowadays Muslims are like a flame and a spark.
Whereby people are looking to defame, on that day you will be the one to blame. For taking this religion as something lame.
We see you mingliing, dingling, pretending to be spouses,
End of the day both enter different houses.
Stop acting like kids, Allah honestly forbids, For one to unlawfully communicate, it would lead a weak person to fornicate.
Please get married before its too late.
Then humiliation will take place, do you still wait?
Sadly then one will be blaming their fate. It is one fo the reasons for God to send you through the hells gate.
It is shocking what we and the media are capturing, young couples at the bus stop,
school, college, uni and even in the chicken and chip shop,
cuddling and kissing and siting on laps whispering while a group is witnessing.
Do you smoke cigarettes and drugs and then choke while drinking alcohol mixed in a bottle of coke just to please an evil bloke?
These acts are pathetic and upsetting, it is not just yourself that you are degrading also others who are practising.
Don’t you ever think that is a minor thing, humiliating the deen of the Supreme Being. When he punishes you there is no fleeing.
Minority hide their beauty behind the screen, don’t want to be seen by strange guys;
So one can only see their eyes, But yet are we still suprised.
Niqaabis trying to compete in being modest and contest in good deed.
So is there any need for high heels which feels like a horse running around,
Its sound is so irritating because of the noise, then attention is seeked by many men and boys.
We’re meant to gain Islamic knowledge for a start, in our faith we’re meant to be smart.
Give our advice and in Islam play our part. And in a good lawful way win peoples hearts.
Some are mothers and there are others who wear tight trousers.
Smelling of perfume, do you want us to assume, that this is practising,
More like mixing and picking what ever is pleasing.
Not realising that your stealing some of the identity,
Of the purified wives of the Prophet of the Almighty.
Brothers how can you let your females walk into the market,
Purchasing Haraam DVDs and musical CDs of those who worship other fake deities.
Just the other day i see a Hijaabi in a car with friends and family,
Listening to forbidden song, hey if your not strong, then come prepared, stop doing wrong.
Especially in public we are meant to be wise not thick,
Already you have fallen into the devils trick.
What is the use of a degree and A star, if you can’t please the Creator. Unaware of the Hereafter.
Some are making Allah and His Angels angry, because they want to be more pretty.
By being a Hijaabi and wearing clothes which is very flashy then neglecting their Islamic duty opposite of beauty and modesty.
Being a temptation for the brothers and this nation, A bad example for the coming generation.
There are school students who are involved in too much amusements,
mixing with guys chatting next to each other in classes and on buses.
This in front of teachers and some non-Muslim passengers. Playing their forbidden tones on their phones.
There are reverts and newly guided in the deen, who are using and abusing it to get their means
Making all types of immoral scenes, which is a bad example for our childrens and the teens.
Uneducated brothers singing and rapping on the stage because they want to be seen on the front page.
We all know music is forbidden, so why take a so-called scholars opinion.
I hear that there are enthusiastic sisters doing poetry with no shame and fear,
In front of an audience where people don’t care about the boundaries of Allah.
Is it because you want to become a superstar, as if we brothers can’t convey the message of the Creator.
You have no authority from Allah and His Messenger. Open the Qur’an and ahadith, you’ll never find a Muslim woman doing this.
In this day and age we possess all this intellect,
Yet we show no remorse to the principles of the Shariah. But a man made policy that we admire and fear, obey, prefer and desire.
Are we scared of the authority in this country and abide by democracy.
It’s a shame that we neglect the day when we shall stand before the Almighty.
Everyday we believers strive in order to establish our way of life (Islam).
And the world sees the Prophets characteristics, within us but we still take the mick,
Our religion Islam is being humiliated, And the kuffars, the hypocrites and the devil is excited
Please read this carefully, carry out YOUR Islamic duty which is obligatory, invite the society towards tranquility.
Do not be an obstacle or a barrier, for others who strive in the path of Allah in order to enter Jannah.
Never ever give a bad name to Islam, or else others would refuse to come to the Straight Path, Very soon you shall earn Allah’s wrath.
We show everyone that in religion we are pious and strict, But it is ourself that we then contradict.
Nowadays we disobey Allah then hope for a good future, the fact is our daily affairs is in hands of who created us in pairs.
Never do we Muslims want to hear a man with a religious hat, sitting with a woman doing this and that,
Unlawfully in any place, in case the arrogant ones critisize us as a whole.
Remember the Ummah is like a body and soul. Before we die shall we not fulfil our role?
Refuse the devil and forbid the evil. Enjoin good as much as you could.
If you can’t spread Deen, Then atleast don’t make an immoral scene.
Achieve a honourable status and position, Not just to please the Creation but first the Creator.
Hoping to get a peaceful life in the Hereafter. Please give Nasiha and Da’wah to whomever is still living in this Dunyah.

Please my dear brothers and sisters whenever you appear in an Islamic dresscode then don’t do any acts of indecency in public which will give our religion and the Muslims as a whole a bad name. We all know Islam and its people are getting attacked and humiliated everyday, so please don’t assist the enemies by contradicting yourself which is what they want. Just like you will protect your precious things in life like your wealth, health, family, etc, that’s how we believers have to protect the honour of Allah and his Messengers and Islam and the believers dignity from getting mocked. We Muslims have to forbid the evil and enjoin the good but first of all the heedless Muslims, everything i wrote is the truth as you can see it in our daily life, hope you did not get offended because Allah is not shy of speaking the truth. Whenever we brothers try to give Da’wah to the Christian missionaries they blacken our faces by pointing at the acts of these ignorant Muslims, so they don’t have much hope to accept, Islam.. A lot of brothers and sisters complain about these immoral acts, I think you should consider yourself from now for ALLAH’S sake. If we believers can’t speak out to our own people then how do we expect to spread Islam to the world. Pease be cautious.

I request to you my brothers and sisters who are practising speak out to these immoral acts because they give a bad name to Islam and the believers of the past and the present. I say let’s repent before coming of Allah’s severe punishment. If we claim to be Muslims then know that enjoining the good and forbidding the evil makes us true Muslims that is our job and task from Allah so do it.

The way of life in the sight of Allah is Islam – [Surah Al-Imran 3:19]

Oh you who believe! Enter into Islam entirely and do not follow the footstpes of the satan – [Al Baqarah 2:208]

The glory and honour belong to Allah and His Messenger and the believers and the hypocrites know that – [Al Munafiqoon 63:8]

Convey from me even a verse [Bukhari] – If you do not have any shame then do as you please [Bukhari]

Please share this & Forward To All Muslims!!

I never can find the right words to say,
I just go with the flow each & everyday……

I never knew there could be love like this,
In a world full of cayos its always you i miss.

If there was one thing I could ask Allah for,
I would tell him that its you i adore………..

My heart skips a beat when i hear the door,
because i know its you coming back for more……

My eyes are full with tears,
but I’m not going to cry,
I just cant wait for the day that i die……

The sooner that happens,
the sooner it will be…..

With Allah’s mercy,
Just You and Me……

For Allah, my heart went there
Where I turn my face in Prayer

It’s a duty, this I know
So to Makkah I did go

For Allaah I packed my gear
Then to His House I came near

For my journey I was ready
Allaah made me strong and steady

I walked around the Ka’bah wall
And teardrops from my eyes did fall

Yearning was I for this day
In Allaah’s House to pray!

Truly my heart, Allaah brought
I thank Him for His support!

With His Mercy I arrived
Then home I went, purified!

She is the one who brought me into this world
Her love is more precious then any diamond or a pearl
She is me shield to the rain
And she can heal my every pain
Her smile lightens my day
And fights my biggest fears away
Her presence, her sweet embrace
I thank Allah for every time I see her face
For bestowing her upon me
My mother makes every step of my life easy
She is my biggest reason for living
I thank allah every day
Every time I pray
For giving me my mother

Thank You, ALLAH

for making us Muslims
with the best of blessings
bestowed upon any human being
listening and obeying to the One and Only True Being.

Thank You, ALLAH

for sending Rasulullah
a shining star known as Habibullah
a true hero non-comparable
guiding and teaching with his very own humble examples

Thank You, ALLAH

for transcending the book
definitely with a “proper look”
one cannot help but to get hook
Al-Quran is the name: “get a copy, have a look, 5 minutes that’s all it took!”

Thank You, ALLAH

for providing us a place called earth
destroying it will get on everybody nerves
please protect it as it truly deserved.
A home for the future we must preserve.

Thank You, ALLAH

for this short-life
a day will come when we shall all die
dear people, please do not inflict more conflicts
alas, the world resembles “a relic”: a place in history the story of humans’ contradict

Thank You, ALLAH

for a father and mother
a heavy responsibility they shoulder
creating a better future
for the next generation to prosper

Thank You, ALLAH

for the plenty foods and drinks
seldom do we think…
about our humble beginning, that is from Nothing!
Why do we still destroy and plunder just to attain that little “something”

Thank You, ALLAH

for the many Muslims, brothers and sisters
again please stop and ponder..
“Have we served Allah, a proper?”
Come The Day, what do we have to offer?

Thank You, ALLAH

for the many gentle reminders
we tend to forget and wander.
The very reason of our existence
not to commit treason but first to serve ALLAH and Rasulullah in that sequence!

Thank You, ALLAH

for we pray for JANNAH in return
and the glory of Islam we try to churn
for that matter, a better Muslim in every turn
devoted and steadfast in ibadah- as the deceitful life we try to spurn

In Surah As-Saba’ verse 13.

Allah mentioned: “But few of my slaves are grateful”.

Penned by Qalamuddin

For your neighbors, lend a hand
Show them that you understand

They have rights we must protect
Show them kindness and respect

For your neighbors try to care
When they’re troubled, help repair

Lend an ear and listen too
If they’re worried, help them through

For your neighbors give a smile
Spend time with them for a while

Look after your neighbor’s needs
And Allaah will reward your deeds

Asslamo Alaykum

The month of fast has ended now,
O Muslims, join in praise!
Allah has given us al- Quran
to make us strong in faith.

The message that He sent to us,
O Muslims, heed the call-
is that we live in brotherhood,
in peace and love with all.

The month of fast has ended now,
O Muslims, mind your souls.
The world’s temptations we resist,
Islam is our goal.

let me teach you a simple dua
when leaving the toilet, say Ghuffranaka(1)

when entering the toilet, don’t think twice
say Allahumaaini auzubika minal khubsi wal khabaais(2)

before drinking say bismillah(3)
and end with al hamdullilah(4)

when sneezing, say al hamdullilah
and on hearing this yar hamoo kallah(5)

on remembering a bad deed, whilst in your car
sincerely repent saying Asthagfirullah(6)

just before you sleep, don’t count a star
say Allahuma bismika amootu va ahya(7)

three words light to the mouth heavy in reward
subhan Allah(8), Al hamdullila, Allah ho akbar(9)
let’s praise the Lord!

1 I seek forgiveness from Allah (on exiting the toilet with your right foot)

2 Oh lord I seek refuge from the filth and the filthy (on entering the toilet with your left foot)

3 in the name of Allah

4 praise be to Allah

5 may Allah’s mercy be upon you

6 I seek forgiveness from Allah

7 Oh Allah, in your name we die and we live

8 Glory to Allah

9 Allah is great

To be able to defeat,
Shaytaan and his deceit,
Ask Allah for help and repeat,

If we want to succeed,
We must purify our greed,
Obey him in every deed,

To become completely freed,
From your envy and your greed,
In your heart plant the seed of,

Every night and every day,
Every night and every day,
Never Forget to say Lailahailallah.
Never Forget to say Lailahailallah.

Islam is peace,
Islam is ease,
Islam’s not danger or disease.
Islam is love and prosperity.
Islam’s not hatred or adversity.

Islam is salvation through repentance.
Islam has love for all in abundance.
Islam means no harm or affliction.
Islam implores you with affection.

Islam is neither maze nor craze.
Islam is giving Allah all praise.
Islam is acing through the race.
Islam will be on everyone’s face.

Islam is worshipping only the Creator.
Islam’s not mere numbers on a calculator.
Islam gives you power when you surrender.
Islam’s not a terrorist or for a pretender.

Islam is patience and perseverance.
Islam eases your vengeance through tolerance.
Islam is life for all eternity.
Islam gives you respect, moreover dignity.
Islam is winning hearts through honesty
Islam is giving openly in charity
Islam makes you wholesome and trustworthy
Islam is in wealth as well as in poverty.

Islam is your shield against all evil.
Islam is for your soul’s retrieval.
Islam not fundamentalism or fanaticism.
Islam’s not nationalism or racism.

Islam is my peace
Islam is my suggestion
For Allah I will always be.

ALLAH knows what is best for us
So why should we complain
We always want the sunshine
But He knows there must be rain.

We always want laughter
and the merriment of cheer
but our heart will lose
their tenderness
If we never shed a tear.

ALLAH tests us often
with suffering and sorrow
He tests us not to punish us
but to help us meet tomorrow.

For growing trees are strenghtened
if they can withstand the storm
and the sharpness of the chisel
gave the marble its grace and form.

ALLAH tests us often
and for every pain
He gives us
provided we are patient
Is followed by rich gain
So whenever we feel that
everything is going wrong
It is just ALLAH’S way to make our spirit strong.

Hajj is a holy place in Islam,
Where muslims have to wear ihraam,
We ask for forgiveness and pray,
To the Almighty Allah night and day,

A muslims aim for hajj is to;
Be closer to our Lord,
And to become a better person in life,
Also it purifies our heart, soul and mind,
And upon you, the special noor shines,

One becomes more patient and secure,
Because they are very pure,
One will gain lots of rewards,
From his Lord,

Hajj is very important,
Its fardh upon every muslim,
To fulfill that prescribed duty of ours,
Its like the most beautiful fragrent flower,
At least we must go once in our life time,
And we’ll be free from the unwanted grime,

Our past sins are forgiven,
And the shame in you is hidden,
You go round the kabah seven times,
With tears in your eyes,

Its a journey you can never forget,
It makes your heart pound with love for your deen,
So lets hope, Allah accepts our one and only dream!

Who knows who is a mother!
We Have Lot of Respect on her
Who knows who is a mother
We have lot of mercy on her
Who knows who is a mother
We have lot of love on her
She is mother; she is mother, our mother, my mother, loved mother.
If we keep counting, our tongue gets tired, but not my work done by her.
Paradise is on her foot step.
The love which she gives is like a diamond stone.
The smile of her love is like sun to earth.
Her work is like, machine and robots.
She always work throughout the day, she will not show her tiredness.
She will take care of my health, but not herself….
Do we know who, who, who…..
She is mother; she is mother, our mother, my mother, loved mother
She kept me in her stomach for 9 months.
She managed the pain, she loved me, and I loved her
Who is she? She is mother; she is mother, our mother, my mother, loved mother
She makes me clean and fresh, and removes all dirt from her own hands
She shown me the prophet (PBUH) ways and made me the good citizen
Oh RAQEEM! Take care of your mother and build house in paradise
She is mother; she is mother, our mother, my mother, loved mother.

Today, upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair.
and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, a smile.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it’d do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
“I thank you, you’ve been so kind.”
“It’s nice to talk with folks like you.
You see,” he said, “I’m blind.”
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
“Why don’t you join the others, dear?”
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew, he couldn’t hear.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I’d go.
With eyes to see the sunset’s glow.
With ears to hear what I’d know.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I’ve been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

Forgive me Allah
For the wrongs I have done
For anger I shouldn’t have
Against anyone

I know I’m weak Allah
But I love You, I really do
And in spite of my weakness
I know You love me too

Forgive me for not reading
Forgive us for not practising
Forgive us for not implementing Your eternal Words
While society at large suffer
From the ommission of our submission

Oh Allah let us come to the understanding
Only with Your Deen can humanity Prevail
And me for the times that I stray
Forgive me for being too tired
When I don’t take the time to pray
While my Ummah lay in shame
With ignorance i forget your way

Give me the strength, Oh Allah!
To do what I should each day
Let Your love shine through me
So others will follow Your way

Even though I’ve failed You Allah
I know You’ll forgive me
And this I promise Lord
A better Muslim I will be

For Your presence is in me
Filling my heart with Your love
And I have Your reassurance
You’re guiding us from above

I love You Allah, and thank You
For the limitless blessings You bestow
I must tell others about You
So Your goodness they too, will know
Forgive me Ya Allah
Forgive and Guide this Ummah.
Victory is Promised by You
Make us worthy of it Ya Allah.

The first of Muharram has arrived
Another year we have survived
This year we strive to do so much better
Practice our Deen down to the letter
Complete all our salaat on time
Do many good deeds in our prime
Give zakat without hesitation
Of the Holy Quran make frequent recitation
Treat all we come across with kindness
Constantly ask for forgiveness
Muharram Mubarak to you
May all your dua’s come true

Islam means peace,
Still people are not pleased.
It’s maligned and made fun of,
See it for yourself before you further mock.

Turn to Quran.
It’s the book for mankind,
It urges you to be kind,
It’s the book which correspond with Science,
To the “Blind” it’s the sign,

During the Dark Age,
What was the earth’s shape?
What did man knew about embryology?
Astronomy was alien,
But Quran answers all,
Isn’t that miracle?
Oh, you people respect my Quran.

People perceives that Muhammad (pbuh) is our Lord,
It isn’t true,
He ain’t No God,
A servant to the master,
He was here to save the world from disaster.
He abolished slavery,
Gave the women their due dignity,
Humble & clean,
Always ready to support,
The Right & The victim,

The pillars of Islam,

Shahadah – Oneness of God,
Salat- The prayers,
Zakat- Charity,
Sawm – Fasting,
Hajj – Pilgrim.
Where does it talk about killing innocent being?
Why don’t they see,
What is best and why do they propagate,
What is not good for anyone’s interest?

Respect mankind
By respecting things what they believe is divine.
Religion join people,
Politicians create divide by using religion as a tool to survive.
I join my hand and bow to the almighty,
Let peace prevail,
And the demons exhale.

My Creator
I love Him
He is truly is the Greatest
The most High
I love Him
Loving Him is better than any love I have ever felt before
He will never disappoint me
I love Him
I don’t need anyone else as I have Him
What a blessing it is to always have Him there to
listen to me through times of joy and of sorrow
I love Him
The most Gracious
I love Him
The Reliever
The Sustainer
The All Seeing
The Majestic
The Unique
The First
The Last
The Lord of Majesty and Generosity
He is this and much more
My Creator
I love Him

Laa ie laa hah il’lal lah, the greatest has always been Allah
He has only set 5 prayers, yet still we have come disobeyers,
We hardly ever pray Toba Toba is what we say,
We have forgotten life’s a test all we do us sit and rest,
We drink, smoke and blaze knowing the time will not be erased,
The time will come for Qayamet we know that time will be our Shamet,
When were being judged that’s the time were gana think of Hajj,
So please don’t follow the Shataan open your eyes and read the Quran,
He will take u on the wrong path Comon he’s a Shataan all he wants is your jaan,
So always say Laa hola wala quowata il’lah bil’lah hil aley yil azeem, and Allah wil never leave your ZAMEER

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Decree.
Feel with the heart, what the eye cannot see.

A night in which you feel neither hot or cold.
But do you know of the magic about to unfold?

It is the Night of Universal and Divine Celebration –
When the Book of Books was given to an Orphan.

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Power.
Where nothing but His blessings will shower.

Where Jibrael and the Angels from heaven descend,
Praying for the Almightys beloved, slave and friend.

They fill the space between heavens and earth.
Do you really know what this night is worth?

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Mercy.
So let all the burdens you carry be set free.

With raised hands I pray on this Night of Reveal,
For the forgotten and broken hearts to heal.

My own heart melts into humble gratitude –
For how many of His blessings have I valued?

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Brightness.
So pray and seek His pardon and forgiveness.

The wind dances with trees in eternal bliss,
And caresses weeping tears with a gentle kiss.

Whispers piercing seven skies to reach the One,
Pleading for their wishes and hopes to be done.

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Peace.
So gather it’s blessings before it will cease.

I lift my gaze to the dancing clouds high above,
Praying for the world to once again be filled with love.

Wash away what never belonged to the soul,
For indeed – a diamond is hidden in every coal.

Tonight is the Night – the Night of Decree.
Feel with the heart, what the eye cannot see.

Say I am Muslim and proud

Say it strongly Say it aloud

Say Islam is my religion, my prophet is Mohammad in high sound

Islam is the light , the only truth on the ground

Islam is reality , love that I found

I found morality, I found Hijab which I wear and shroud

Hijab is a modesty makes me as a queen who is crowned

I found rules , high principles with which I am pound.

Islam is the light,

shines the world , shines the darkness of the night

Islam is the sun that rises in a beautiful sight

makes our life happy , straight and right

Islam is a mercy , peace, and not fight

Islam is the truth that always and for ever bright .

wake up Muslims , work hard and do unite.

Say I am Muslim , Islam is the height

I am Muslim

Islam saves life and mankind*
Peace – as pointed by all the signs
This is the teaching – But why it is missing?
And we are still searching!!!

All play a part
Let me just start
When Islam is portrayed as violence
Most of us just kept silence

This is deafening – this is the happening
The silence majority sitting
While The Media keeps drumming
– And the Innocents are dying

When something went wrong –
The message sent so strong
Blame Islam and Muslim
Even when the evidence is slim**

Each act even before the authority could react
Finger pointing Muslim is the easiest fact
Each occurrence – Muslim is the first
To be blamed, shamed and cursed!

But wait why Islam and Muslim are being blamed?
Thus creating a bigger flame! This is a shame!
Ah! This is their game – as we always claim
But even if this is true – why do we fall for it again and again!

We have become a community so lame
Even our reactions and voices are tamed
But we demonstrate, strike and put Islam to shame
We play right – smack into their game!

Then what should we do?
You ask me? I asked you!
Again let reflect and return to the two***
This is the way our enemy we woo

Islam is peace ****
Let make this world at ease
When the enemy starts to tease
Just don’t overact please!

We are a nation of the middle path*****
This is our main task
To show to all the message from dawn to dusk
Even if they don’t ask – Peace for all – that’s the greeting from us

* Islam – Islam Saves Life And Mankind

** Al-Quran 49:6 “O you who believe! If a Fasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done.

*** During the last sermon of Rasulullah (saw) mentioned: “O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur’an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.”

**** Islam is derived from the Arabic root “Salema”: peace, purity, submission and obedience

***** Al-Quran 2:143 “Thus have We made of you an Ummah justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; …”

God is One, there is no other
He has no father and no mother
He never had a wife or son
Not 2 or 3 or 4 He is One

We will not cannot be divided
He is not what they have decided
“Jesus is god,” they say over and over
But in reading the Bible from cover to cover

The triune god I cannot find
Nor comprehend it with my mind
The innocent Jesus they deify
Was Paul the one who told the lie?

Taught the gentiles God’s Law is a curse
Made man a god that dies, that’s worse
“Forget the Law, he paid the price,”
Mercy? Justice? Would God be nice

to change the rules of game?
Must we worship another name?
Worship Jesus? But did God command it?
Worship my God and your God is what Jesus demanded

The Bible they have is quite explicit
With an open mind you cannot miss it
The creation of Jesus without a father
For Almighty God, could it be a bother?

No mother or father for Adam and Eve
Not such a miracle are we to believe?
For God all is easy, he just says “Be”
And He controls all, even Jesus, you see

Jesus was but His messenger
He ate and slept like those before
He fasted, prayed, and supplicated
To whom? Himself? Can it be debated?

“MY God, My God,” was Jesus’ Plea
“Why have you forsaken me?”
I don’t understand it and I think it’s odd
Can a god be a god if he has a God?

All prophets of God were in submission
Performing miracles by His permission
God called every one of them
To love and worship none but Him

From Noah, Abraham, Jacob and Moses
All taught the same, including Jesus
Your God is One, they declared to all
Worship Him only and obey His Law!!!

I Take Refuge In Allah From The Stoned Satan. In Name Of Allah The Source Of Mercy To All Of Creation; The Source Of The Mercy To The Believing Congregation. Oh Allah Bless Muhammad’s Soul, And Rain Down Peace On His Household.

Don’t think our cries are too extreme. There’s good reason for grown men to scream. Our actions aren’t of those insane We weep in dhikr of Hussain. When the guilty kills the innocent To usurp Islamic Government, Should not a Muslim cry in pain? Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

Reflect on Hussein’s flawless fame. Reflect on Yazeed, steeped in shame. Shall not the heart be pierced by woe, When the Khalif is Al-Islam’s foe? Oh what a dark, sad thought to bear, It breaks the heart, moves joy to tear. That’s why our tears fall down like rain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

A heart of stone’s too hard to cry. A mind that’s closed won’t wonder why. A foolish man is deaf and blind. A coward always stays in line. But a soul that prostrates on it’s face. With trembling heart, seeking God’s Grace Won’t hide from Truth, can’t hide the pain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

The Khalif chose vile tricks, and lies. Hussain chose death, not compromise. This Prophet’s son would not bow down; Preferring death to being bound To evil hind’s Satanic Son. So with his death The Imam won. Islam’s loss was Islam’s gain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

Oh what a brave and selfless deed, To give up life for Islam’s creed; To sacrifice both friend, and kin To show the world Islam from sin. Are you confused which side is right? How would you stand if called to fight? Are you aware just who was slain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

The leader of The Garden’s Youth Was murdered by a drunk uncouth. Understand the scene my friend; An angel murdered by a jinn. A jinn who held the Ummah’s reins; A womanizer half insane Condemned to death The Chaste Hussain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

A Nimrod in Islamic Guise. A whore in veils. Truth mixed with lies. An Ummah fooled by slight of hand. One raised his voice. One dared to stand. An Abraham who chose The Flames Rejecting falsehood’s kingly claims. An Abel who opposed a Cain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

How could a demon rise so high To cause the Prophet’s son to die; To kill him with the Muslim’s sword; And in The Name Of Prophet’s Lord? Can might make right, and rule God’s Deen? Then how did things get so obscene? How will we ever clean the stain? Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

They wouldn’t let Hussein’s men drink. And now they will not let you think They barred them from a river clear. They bar you from a knowledge dear. The fence your mind with bigotry And tie your hands with apathy. Why should a Muslim not feel pain? Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

These Yazeed kill for crown, and purse. At least Muslims can spit and curse, But many think the cost too high. So they obey the one’s who lie. They would not allow Hussain a drink. And now they won’t let Muslim’s think, And those who think, they call insane. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

The world’s a Karbala, a desert dry; And Quran’s a river flowing by, And Ishtahad’s a water skin That’s cool and filled for thirsty men. Where is Abbas with what we need? His canteen was pierced with shafts of greed. Our thirst is not from lack of rain. Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

Though martyrdom gave Abbas wings, Thirst remains and grief still stings. But tears alone won’t slake our thirst. Tears by themselves can make things worse. Who will stand? Who will try To speak The Truth … To stand … To die; To cause a tyrant’s moon to wane? Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain! Hussain!

Oh Allah Bless Muhammad’s Soul, And Rain Down Peace On His Household.

I used to have a wondering heart,
But now my heart is safe,
My eyes and ears would drift and leave my heart in a darkened place,
My mind was too interested in everything other than what life had to offer,
I dont mean the one we live in but most importantly the one that we strive for,
Its safe and sound now when hearing the words of Allah and His Messenger,
After all whats better than loving and listening to your very own creator?
I only ask that you will search deep inside your soul,
And seek the peace that I have found, Not just for now, But for tomorrow,
We never know when we will leave this unexpecting world,
So prepare yourself to meet the One and prepare for what will be heard,
Your whole life will be laid out and your deeds and sins will too,
Dont waiste the short time we have in this world,
But love the one that will come to you…

My power is from Allah
My shield is my PROPHETS

Abdiqadir S.M

To get to jannah
You gotta reach high
You gotta say bye
To the lies
Because jannah is a place to entertain
Where age is all the same
And inshallah the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W
Will know your name
But if you lose the game
You’ll be dragged by your face
In shame to the lane
Of pain
With no one to blame but yourself
But if you reach the gold remember to be bold
By remembering the name of Allah.

All praises are for You Allah, how I hope that You are there.
For sinful though I know I am, your displeasure I can not bear.
Never, till this moment, did I realize how much I’ve strayed.
Never, till now, was I more conscious of all those times when I should have prayed.
For sins are like heavy baggage, that one carries through Life, the airport.
Why didn’t I realize sooner, that Earth is but a place of sport?
Ya Allah ! Forgive me. Save me from the fire of Hell.
Forgive me as You did my parents, from Jan’ah though they fell.
Ya Allah ! Protect me. From myself for my soul is weak.
Let me not falter ever, for Jan’ah is the abode I seek.
Ya, Allah! Please help me. For I don’t understand and thus, I fear.
What happened to all those moments when I never doubted that You were near ?
My actions once were guided, by my faith which, once, was strong.
Ya Allah! please guide me. What happened, what went wrong ?
Each footstep that I used to take, I took with You ever near my side.
The Qur’an was my faithful companion, Rasoolallah my beloved guide.
How I yearn for those bygone days Allah, for I know that the day comes near
When we’ll each receive our just rewards, and Truth will stand sparkling clear.
Life is like a spider’s web Allah. We get caught in its tricky snare
So thoroughly are we disillusioned, time for salat we can not spare.
I sit here and I wonder, Ya Allah! Why did I fall so low ?
What happened to my faith Allah? Where did my Iman go?
In this earthly life of ours, so often does sin seem right.
Falsehood seems to be the truth, as if days are confused with night.
Man is an imperfect creature. And thus, Man shall always wrong.
For the road to Jan’ah is rocky, and the journey seems awfully long.
Ya Allah ! Our creator, we are all just pieces of clay.
Please help us with our steps in life, and let us not lose our way.
All praises are for You Allah, I know that You are near.
I know that You have read my heart, and my words I know You hear

This earth, this duniya, is a drop of a sea
The final destination, The Akhirra, which is beyond infinity

This test and trial makes me blue
Fighting shaytaan is the hardest thing I ever had to do

Years and days will quickly go by
To Allah alone I cry, who will always stay close by my side

Allah has commanded us to give Zakah and Pray,
This Deen is of Allah and his Messenger, not some play
So let us repent for the sins we commit night & day

My days are lonely and they are cold,
My goal is to obey Allah as my days grow old & he takes my soul

Allah is present everywhere, Allhamdu lillah my connection with him is strong
He lives in my heart, his mercy and blessings are enormous & beyond

When I sacrifice and give up something for his sake,
In return he rewards me with something better in its place

My life is corrupted and my days are rough,
Sometimes my tests and trials get so tough,
But for the sake of Allah, it’s never enough

Allah & his Quran is my guide
If he wasn’t there for me, I’d break, swelter & die

My mother is gone far & away,
A visitor has descended upon her grave,
Comforting her & soothing her endless pain

She was in her Jahalliya days, Ya Allah only if she prayed!
Her Salaat & good Am’als would have saved her on this day

I know my mother is gone, and Jannah lies in her feet
She is distant from me, buried in too deep
If not in this world, then in the next we will surely meet

Start each day with the good deed of a simple smile.
For smiling is Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) and it’s effects on the heart is long felt after it has been discharged.
How just and equitable is your Lord that He has made your smile use less facial muscles to express than a frown, so that you may never, ever grow weary of smiling.
A smile is patience when you are going through bad times and self-recognition that Allah is just around the corner to take your worries and sorrows away.
A smile is like an ‘arm around the shoulder’ to the beholder in their time of need, it doesn’t need to be backed up by words, it just lets them know you are their for them should they ever fall or waiver.
A smile is the spark of hope that makes the heart catch fire with the remembrance of Allah through which troubles melts away into insignificance.
A smile is the window into your soul and an acknowledgement that you may not have everything in life, but you are content with what Allah has blessed you with.
May Allah keep us all smiling in this life and the hereafter (Ameen!)

Ya Allah
By Imran Ali

This pain I bear is no lie…
No matter how hard I try…
Oh why…
I cry…

Ya Allah

Truth be told…
How I yearn for a hand to hold…
Now my heart begins to fold…
So cold…

Ya Allah

How can I rise when I feel so small…
Is this it, have I hit the wall…
My all…
I call…

Ya Allah

I see…
Only darkness and misery…
Full of lies and treachery…
Surround me…
Save me…

Ya Allah

I only wish to understand…
What my future will soon demand…
Open hands…
I stand…

Ya Allah

Life isn’t as it seems…
My only happiness lie within dreams…
Bursting at the seams…
They scream…

Ya Allah…
Ya Allah…
Ya Allah…

Allahu Akbar…
Allahu Akbar…
Ya Jabbâr,
Ya Qahhâr,
Forgive my sins… Ya Ghaffâr.

Allahu Akbar…
Allahu Akbar…
Ya Wâhid,
Ya Mâjid,
My Lord find me… Ya Wâjid.

Allahu Akbar…
Allahu Akbar…
Ya Halîm,
Ya Azîm,
Grant me with wisdom… Ya Hakîm.

Allahu Akbar…
Allahu Akbar…

Save me Allah,
My fate in your palm…
Help me Allah,
Protect me from harm…
Show me Allah,
To the garden so calm…

Dhûl-Jalâli Wal-Ikrâm…

In the horrors of my eyes
The things that I see and hear
The stuff that I try to ignore
But,it comes back, anyways.

it is overwhelming
it is disturbing
It is scary in a way that I see.

The signs that we all witness
We all know what Japan experienced
Some people are alive from the incident,
Eye witnessed it with terror filling their fears.

When the people will not be aware,
Of how they fare.
So what about prayer,
Perhaps some charity or a little care.
And know Allah’s word
That He is the Lord.
Let not the Shaitan get you,
Those who forge lies,
Will not enter Paradise.
If you follow the evilness of the betraying Shaitan.

We all know that the day of Judgement will arrive
It will come ,for sure.
We don’t know when the horn of the angel will blow
We don’t even know how we will cope for Allah to forgive us for whatever we had done.
I’ve been told that take advantage of the life that we have.
You only live once, not twice.
You only have one chance, not a second.
You only have one God , not another.
Take advantage and strive,
Before it’s too late to ask for one more forgiveness.

My religion teaches me about piety,
It control me to preserve my morality,
To please only God is my greatest duty,
This mission of a Muslim so heavenly.
Avoid showing off and hypocrisy,
stay away from foolishness and jealousy,
promote goodness and peace advocacy,
To God be the glory!

My heart feels happy,
when I pray five times a day,
more so when I give for charity,
I am never become lonely.
Islam is my deen,
this is where I have been,
the only religion that could bring you in the garden,
it is as though- a stairway to heaven.

Fasting is a way of discipline,
For the faith it is truly a medicine,
to those who have committed a sin,
and for those whose eman has declined.
To go to mecca and see its image,
is one way to pay our respect and homage
It is surely one thing I want to take advantage,
it is truly my dream to go for pilgrimage.

A long time ago I asked to a lovely star
a question whose answer was for me too far
The rainbow has got six colours which I adore
but what are these colours of the rainbow for

The star smiled and a shell she gave me
with six beautifull pearls in it that formed the key
red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet
and each colour has its own story, she said:

“The smell of the red roses that covers your lifes way
will lead you to the right and forbid you to go ashtray
so follow this smell and taste the fruits of your good deeds
then you’ll know how important it is to plant some more seeds

And on your way you will see more and more light
light that’s able to blind you even of the darkest night
but always remember to give this plant of light water of faith
before that time will pass your sense and it’ll be too late

And do not scare if waves will embrace this normal routine
cause that’s a test that controls if your heart really isn’t unclean
Just find the golden tree and pluck the blossoms at any price
only then you will be able to reach the door of Paradise”

After these words the star dissapeared
I started to think about everything I had heard
but one thing I still didn’t understand
cause what is the basis of this dreamland

I opened the shell again and became very calm
when I saw the pearls forming the word Islam
so that’s the aim for which i have to strive
open my heart for Islam, The colour of life

Read Tawheed.
Feed Tawheed.
Understand its creed.
Plant firmly its seed.
It’s nothing new, we implead.
The call of every Prophet rallied.
So simple indeed.
To grasp its creed.

It’s emphatically decreed.
You heed to Tawheed
Best of all deeds.
Surely none can mislead.
Mankind should accede.
None but Him you cede.
If you want to succeed.
Establish Absolute Tawheed.

Energetically proceed.
Fulfill with speed.
This great Tawheed
Before you’re wearied.
To those who exceed.
You’ve unashamedly dirtied.
This religion pure and freed.
Trying to cause a stinkweed.

I am worried.
Most misread.
This Tawheed.
Our salvation indeed.
Constantly queried.
As other books are buried.
There is frenzy.
To know this Tawheed.
If you want deeds.
That Allah is pleased.
I sincerely plead.
To stick to Tawheed.

This is the story of Adam and Eve
for all of you people, just read and believe

at first the whole world contained just the jinn
then they began indulging in sin

the angels were sent to drive them away
then Adam (as) was created from clay

from his left rib came Eve(ra), his beautiful wife
they lived in paradise, enjoying their life

the angels bowed to Adam (as) on Allah’s command
except iblis (the devil), he was eternally dammed

time went past and they spotted a tree
iblis told them it was immortality’s key

the devil thought himself superior and clever
and asked the two if they fancied living forever

all they had to do was to eat from the tree
this was forbidden by Allah, the very same tree

the devil made one eat and the other ate too
Allah was angry and out of heaven they flew

they had to leave heaven for only this deed
the devil was cursed, he deserved it indeed

Adam (as) and Eve (ra) to the earth they fell
they had angered the Almighty and hadn’t done well

they realised the devil had led them astray
and on earth they repented and continued to pray

their repentence was accepted, from their mistake they learned
now to re-enter heaven, this had to be earned

iblis rejoiced,’ I have fulfilled my aim’
I’ll mislead all your offspring, I’ll treat them the same

i will continue to mislead them until it’s too late
a hundred lusts inside them I’ll create

so brothers and sisters, don’t let him succeed
he will lead us to hell, an evil place indeed

think about death, we haven’t got long
our aim is to prove that the devil is wrong

realise our purpose, don’t stray, don’t get bored
we were created only to worship our Lord

live as a muslim, 24/7
then insha Allah we’ll meet, we’ll all meet in heaven

As I look searchingly into the sky
I look for a sign from Allah the most high
People think I’m crazy sitting in this cold
But I quest for something more precious than gold

For mankind this sign represents something great
but for the rejected one, it fills him with hate
Suddenly out of the darkness the moon does appear
the whole world rejoices ‘Ramadan is here’

During Ramadan the shaytan is in chains
and Allah’s mercy for a month reigns
The doors of heaven are open wide
begging for mankind to enter and abide

So often in Hadith we are reminded and told
that rewards are multiplied by many a fold
In this month do good deeds and read Quran
spend your time wisely and learn Islam

After all these years I have made up my mind
the right path and salvation I wish to find
To Allah’s will I will surrender at last,
enshallah, Allah will forgive my past

Forgive-all those sins too good it sounds
but Allah’s mercy knows no bounds
With sins stacked like mountains so high
will be forgiven within a blink of an eye

This Ramadan my heart and soul are alive
ready to change and ready to strive,
No more will the shaytan hold me back
in the worship of my Lord nothing will lack

Together lets make the decision to change
our priorities in this life lets re-arrange
This life on Earth is short and fast
but the life in the hereafter will forever last

Ironically this life for us holds much value
when the next life is the one thats true
To make effort on Dunya we never tire
but will it take us to paradise or hell fire?

This month will give a fresh perspective
on the way we ought to and the way we live
With Zikr and prayer lets increase our Iman
Join me and together lets celebrate Ramadan

With Ramadan here the changes begin,
Firstly walking away from a life of sin
The shackles of sin I have worn so long
Now caste away to the righteous I belong

The seeker finds and mercy does shower
On lail-a-tul Qadr – the night of Power
The Quran came down on this blessed night
A guidance for mankind an illuminating light

From the depth of your Soul please pray
as Duas are accepted and sins wiped away
Ask with a clean heart is all Allah requires
and ask for whatever good the soul desires

Listen to the Quran every night in Tarawih
Ah.. Allah’s words what spiritual ecstasy
It cools your heart and calms your soul
So with crystal clear vision perceive your goal

For this goodness to last there is a price
For the Deen of truth you need sacrifice
To toss aside Dunya you hold so dear
Nothing but Allah will you ever fear.

Tossing and turning through every night
the demon called Dunya you need to fight
the demon called nafs you need to tame
because struggling to surrender is your ultimate aim

Etikaf is a another gift that Allah sent
The Last ten days in His path spent
in the Mosque in the presence of your Lord
doing Zikr, Talawat or Salah at your own accord

These days to Allah you must also dedicate
then disbelief and ignorance your will hate
The Quran and Sunnah will be your guide
Only then faith in your heart will reside.

Beginning this Ramadan lets make amends
Study and practice until our life ends
Everything but our deeds we leave behind
this is the truth to which we were blind

Our cars, wealth and house on earth will stay
our actions are the companions on that day
when your breath expires so does hope
so hold on firmly to Allah’s rope

There is great wisdom in this rhyme
Its dedicated to me before its my time
for these changes my soul does yearn
this Ramadan enshallah its my turn

A young, new ustadh (teacher) was walking with an older, more seasoned ustadh (teacher) in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what Allah had for him to do, he was asking the older ustadh for some advice. The older ustadh walked up to a rosebush and handed the young ustadh a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals. The young ustadh looked in disbelief at the older ustadh and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of Allah for his life and ministry.

But because of his great respect for the older ustadh, he proceeded to try to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact… It wasn’t long before he realized how impossible this was to do. Noticing the younger ustadh’s inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older ustadh began to recite the following poem…

It is only a tiny rosebud,

A flower of Allah’s design,
But I cannot unfold the petals,
With these clumsy hands of mine.

The secret of unfolding flowers,
Is not known to such as I,
ALLAH opens this flower so sweetly,
Then in my hands they die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of Allah’s design,
Then how can I have the wisdom,
To unfold this life of mine?

So I’ll trust in Allah for leading,
Each moment of my day,
I will look to Allah for His guidance,
Each step of the way.

The pathway that lies before me,
Only Allah knows,
I’ll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.

My brothers we remember you…How shall we compare?
The defenders of the muslims, upholding the banner of Islam.
In the mountains and the hills…
the enemy surrounds you but you stand firm,
trusting in Allah, keeper of the strong

And the wind is blowing from your left…
Oh how shaytaan has engulfed the West,
and they come for you, filled with unrest …rage upon rage towards those
who strive the best…
May Allah keep you in peace,
and the tranquility of His promise fill your hearts
and in your graves may you find rest.

My brothers from every race…O how we have failed you…
failed to come to your aid and to join you in this crusade,
of the establishment of the way of Allah and His Messenger(sal allahu alaihi
wa salam)
The Light of each face and the brightness of each day.

In valleys and deep caves you hide, but are not afraid
For it is the supreme scent of Jannah that you crave…
Knowing that Allah’s help is near,
And His reward is true for a heart that strives on the battlefield, without
faltering, without fear.

And our tears are happy tears…from our memory you are not erased
For you are not dead but alive…with Noor upon your face
For Islam you have bled,
Allah’s path is your heart’s content,
so with peace and contentment, lie down upon your bed.

O’Mujahideen warrior, defender of what is right!
surrounded by Allah’s mercy and grace, the most precious of light
O’my brothers who have left those whom they dearly loved
Forgotten this world, this dunya, for a treasure beyond words
Striving to uphold the perfected religion…Islam…so beautiful,
most beautiful of all.

And my brothers who have lagged behind…
Arise and fight!!! Establish the way that is true!!!
The path was only established by the blood of those who came before you.

O’Ummah of Rasullulah(sal alahu alaihi wa salam),
Come to the path of success!!!
Forget the life of this world, this dunya and seek after that which is best,
The path of Allah and His Messenger(sal alahu alaihi wa salam)…
wherein each heart finds rest.

By whom have you been decieved,
into thinking that the path of Allah is too fundamental, too extreme?
In this world there is bliss?
Nay, Wake up Oh deceived one,
for the life of this world is only paradise for the kufaar and mushrikeen.

O’Mujahideen warrior! The enemy is plotting…
and Allah is plotting too,
and what they conspire against you will never succeed…
For Allah the Most High, Most Great is All-Hearing and All-Knowing of the

Animosity pours forth from their eyes, a hatred from the soul…
Purify yourselves O’believers! Fight for the sake of this deen!
Make Al-Firdaus your goal!
Allah the Most High, Most Great is the protector of the believers,
for Allah encompasses everything.

O’ Muslimeen and muslimah, cry until your heart bleeds…
Abandon the filth of this world and its pain, its greed
If death were to come to you,
would you cling to the life of this world or your Lord?
Who is it that you need?

Abandon the filth of this world and its pain…
the lust that leads to child molestation and rape,
the greed that leads to murder
and the envy that leads to hate

Who is that evil whisperer that you hear?
causing you to forget the reason why you are here…
Remember Allah, if you fear
Remember Rasullulah( sal allahu alaihi wa sallam) and our own shortcomings
with every tear.

Cry until your heart bleeds
and remember the Sahabah and Rasullulah (sal allahu alaihi wa sallam)
Not only fought to establish Islam, but they fought for you and me,
With their wealth, lives and property
Nay they are not dead but alive…with Noor upon their face.

O’ Allah, Most High, Most Great, please forgive us our sins and selfish,
vain pursuits.
O’ Allah Most Merciful, Most Kind…guide us along the path of those whom
you favored, not of those who earned your anger or went astray.
O’ Allah, Most Hight, Most Great…please forgive us for our mistakes.

Allah is the one who made us

Allah is the one who made this world

Allah is the one who gave us food

Thank You Allah to give us everything in this world

Allah is One and like no one,
He has no partner, nor a son,
He is Kind and Just and Wise,
And has no form, shape or size.

His final Messenger to all of us,
Did so much without a fuss,
Muhammad is his blessed name,
As mercy to the worlds he came.

Five times a day we make Salah,
That’s when we bow down to Allah,
We ask for guidance when we pray,
And this we do every single day.

We have to share with those in need,
And not give in to thoughts of greed,
Zakah then helps us in this way,
Lest we should err and go astray.

In the month of Ramadan we must fast,
From the first day to the last,
When food and drink we put aside,
By fasting rules we then abide.

And all those who can afford,
Seek the pleasure of their Lord,
They perform their Hajj you know,
When to Makkah the pilgrims go.

Stop look and listen
your a Muslim,
so make the right impression
and the right decision,
who am I?
where am I?
what am I doing?
who is looking?
what are they thinking?
or is it ticking
boom, gloom , doom
I’m sat in a room
being questioned, being harassed
about the blast, that went off in the past,
I take a gasp,
and blink,
then think,
think think,
how did I get here?
I’m so innocent,
I keep myself to myself,
I couldn’t even hurt fly,
let alone let any one die,
sat here with fear,
being interrogated and crowded by police,
wishing I could get released
but no! they think I’m from the Middle-East, another terrorist,
I tell them that I am speaking the truth,
and I’m only a youth,
release me I’m being honest with you,
I’m not a part of gang or movement,
the agent looks at me and walks out of the room,
what is he going to assume?
or am I going to end up in a courtroom?
for a crime that I wasn’t involved with!!

Shiraz Zeria (manchester)
Part 2 to follow…

Behind enamel blocks, therein it lies,
It moves in all directions clock and anti-clockwise
If used correctly, it can cause ranks to rise
But shooting without aiming could lead to your demise.

A small piece of flesh without a bone in sight,
It can cure friendship and also incite fights,
Then cowardly behind your teeth, safely it sits tight
And YOU get a jab and a hook from the right.

It bears witness about Allah and His Prophets
The hereafter is where you’ll see the real profits
It remembers Allah plentiful, but think nothing of it
It recites the Quran wonderful, so start and you’ll love it.

It also has a bitter side If it boasts and talks with pride,
You’ve backbitten if you speak but hide It’s called slander if you lied,
Abusive language leaves eyes wide
Make an effort, make truth your bride.

“He who keeps quite, gains salvation”
“Backbiting is worse than fornication”
That’s our Prophet’s declaration
Please take into consideration
Take time out for contempletion About Allah, Lord of all creation.

It recites Quran to gain reward,
Use it for speeches, make it your sword.
Anything that will please the Lord,
To waste precious time, that we can’t afford.

With Allah’s name begin your day,
Remember Him while you work or play Keep evil doings out of your way
On the straight path you will stay.
If it sings, change it to nasheeds Pick up an Islamic book to read.

Most important repeat your creed,
For the Hereafter sow your seed For that day you’l need every good deed.
Use it to supplicate, use it to repent
At the All-Mighty’s doorstep, drop and lament
Solely for worship is why we were sent

Let not Satan be an impediment
And keep Allah’s remembrance immanent.
Keep Muslims safe from its attack
Be they red or be they black Disunity is the biggest drawback

So keep the unity free from slack Oh Allah!
Keep us on the straight track.
Its correct usage whoso guarantees
And of that between his knees.

The Prophet will make certain he sees
Our entry into Paradise with ease.
A humble effort, not a song
An attempt to pass a message on It can do good, it can do wrong
This poem was about the Tongue.

Before mankind lived upon this earth
Adam was created without father or birth
Allah made him from different colored clay
so that is why our skins are colored in this way.

Some of us are dark and others a kind of white
but it is only our belief that separates us in His Sight.
He made us all to know one another
to become sisters and brothers each to the other.

But satan has worked hard to disrupt this perfect plan
by scheming, devising and then separating man.
So forget about the reflection in the mirror that you see
seek only the believing person you really want to be.

So forget about color and forget about pride
and let Prophet Muhammad* be our only guide,
guiding us to the Path that is so very straight
that strengthens us against satan, the wicked degenerate!

As the heat gets hotter as the sun gets brighter
As they take it all off as their ‘burden’ gets lighter

When you feel the temptation as they roam half naked
When you think for sure that you just can’t make it

Remember O Muslim the perfect instructions
Remember not to give in to those temptations

Through the lure, the enticement and through the haze
Remember the order to lower your gaze

Don’t go to such places don’t go to the beaches
Remember the lessons ….remember what Islam teaches

Don’t sit idle in the street nor visit the mall
When you know they are going to bare it all

Now, I know it isn’t easy its hard not to stare
Its difficult to look away when its all there

But, don’t feed your lust, nor set it ablaze
Remember the order to lower your gaze

What’s the harm in it, they say. It’s nothing but fun!
If I look at some bodies bathing in the sun!

A lustful look towards the opposite gender
Is all that it takes to set off the trigger

It leads to sin and abomination
It paves the way for fornication

Don’t take it so lightly, don’t think it’s a phase
Remember the order to lower your gaze

Watch out for that arrow the arrow from Satan
The one you’re warned about laden with poison

The arrow that is aimed towards your very heart
When it reaches its target, it leaves a black mark

It infects your heart and leaves it vulnerable
for Satan to take over and do as he is able

Recall the Prophet’s words for he told no lies
“Looking at something forbidden is the zinaa of the eyes.”

Don’t look at anything haraam, that’s what he said
So when temptation passes by..just turn away your head

Just lower your gaze.don’t give that second look
For you never know when you get caught by the hook

A lustful glance then the talk then the meeting
You know what comes next after all the flirting

Fornication is major. “Don’t even come near it.”
It starts with that first look, every Muslim should fear it

So lower your gaze don’t look at haraam
Strive for good deeds they work like a charm

If you are able then do get married
That’s what the Prophet alaihis-salaam instructed

Keep voluntary fasts they will make you strong
Being a good Muslim, you surely can’t go wrong

A part of his character is the Muslim’s gaze
So fear Allaah as you spend these summer days

Ask Allaah to help you, you’ll find Him there
And never underestimate the power of prayer

Not only in the streets, remember O Muslim
Lower your gaze when watching television

The shows .the sitcoms .the underwear ads
The suggestive scenes the fashions and the fads

Day in and day out, we watch haraam and yet
when ‘Baywatch’ comes on, we don’t turn off the set

Did you forget the Day when Allaah will ask you
of every look you cast every glance you threw

So where will you hide what will you do
That Day your eyes will witness against you

Remember, the beauty of this world is temporary
The question is then will you be able to carry

Your head up high in front of the Almighty
When you stand on a Day, so long so dreary?

You are the best Ummah the Model Community
Custodians of Truth Upholders of Morality

So fight the Shaytaan, stop him in his wickedness
Lower your gaze, ask for Allaah’s forgiveness

And thank Allaah O Muslim and realize
The greatest blessing is a pair of eyes

Don’t use it to disobey Him, don’t earn His Displeasure
For you will be asked what you did with this treasure

It is not too amend
Start lowering your gaze my friend

“Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty. That is purer for them. Verily, Allaah is All-Aware of what they do. Say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty…O you who believe! Turn you all together towards Allah that you may attain success.” (Surah Nur:30,31).

we see these people crying we jus ignore and play
we see these people dieing we jus walk away
we see these people lieing we jus talk all day
but arent we suppposed to be helping these people
helping them trying to get the life back on the straight path
arent we supposed to do good and pay zakat and pray but insted we satrt listing to music and talking with the bad human race
oh allah plz help us so we dont go astray we need to start folwing the prophet muhamed (s.a.w) ya allah helpo these [ppl plz forgive the muslims who did bad and came back ya allah forgive me and all the muslims
AMEEN YA RABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bitter sweet memories of some moments gone by
where we laughed facing death
at Dunya’s call we’d cry.
If I could but re-live those moments
Oh memories bitter sweet!
Allow me to re-live those times, even if it be
…a moment.
A moment I pray, I shall never forget!
How it never fails to amaze me
the works of the All-Mighty!
The way He made all things perfect,
all living things co-existing in a community,
in harmony.
Like the Heavens and the Earth,
The birds and the bee.
That’s how we were back then you see
The Ansar and the Muhajireen
Back then for a moment, though now just a memory
Oh! Bitter sweet memory!

Abiding we were by the perfect Shari’ah
One for all, all for one lived we
a dream life one I never thought I’d live to see.
Alas! It’s true no good things ever seem to last and must come to an end
they tore us apart and left our lives and dreams shattered
though sad and broken for the moment we may be
they couldn’t distinguish the light of our Imaan
and never could they take away our memory!
what bitter sweet memory!

Oh how I wish to see those faces again
The beautiful faces of my brothers coverd with dust
Yet their noor out shone the dirt and was plain for all to see!
Protecting, defending, on guard and ready to respond,
now just a memory, in peace may they be for eternity!

Hell on earth it seemed those few weeks back then
Bombs from above, bullets from within.
I have never seen such brotherly love as the love of those mujahedeen
If they were to lend us a bit of that love and unity
Who’d dare step to us and humiliate us like this
as though we were a miserable minority?

Subhanallah, subhanallah, subhannallah

from all walks of life they were but you should’ve seen them united as one
To laugh, to love, to smile with such content in the worst of situation
Though a follen, lifeless beauty, covered with blood and soul be gone
How can I forget such wonderous smile and a face that brightly shone?*

Faced with hunger and thirst dimise on every corner
.. we would smiled facing death, at dunya’s call we’d frown.

They chose to drive us out of our new home
When they saw how successful we could be,
there was plenty room for more, a room for all humanity
They were welcome to live with us in love and unity
Abyding by the mother of Laws, bowing to none but ALLAH ALMIGHTY

But ‘NAY!’ They said, ‘WE SHALL BE THINE ENEMY!’
And they called themselves ‘the peace keepers’
How funny indeed the irony!

Now I sit here, reflecting on those days gone by,
faces of those dusty men haunting me,
dearly missing my fallen brothers and sisters
both among the ansar and muhajireen.
I know my time is yet to come and for a while longer here I must stay,
But till then, I shall re-play, and re-play..
A magnificent freedom I once was foutunate to be apart of
though now…just fragments of memory!
Bitter sweet memory!

Dedicated to A’isha muhajirah (rahmatullah alaiha) who died in our arms and her beautiful three kids, Muhammad, Rahma and baby Sumaya who was 7 monthts old at the time. May Allah t’alla bring about ease in your situation and protect your dad and all of you where ever you may be.
I was your bush mama, though it was for a few weeks but I love you like you’ve been mine for ever..insh Allah, until we meet!

*And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receving provision,

Rejoycing in what Allah has bestowed on upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those (to be martyred) after them who have not yet jointed them-that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

HOLY QUR’AN: Surah 3, 169-170.

By Umm Muhammad! (Sun) 14/02/10

I will never let go of my deen
I will be as the prophet saw had been,
All Muslims ask for my advice
And inshallah they will go to paradise.

All the nonbelievers who did not take my advice
Will go to hell not paradise,
Allah keeps all the Muslims away from the jinn
And in return the Muslim keep away from any sin.

Everyone holds onto an unseen line
People destroy their line by drinking alcohol and wine,
I would never become a Christian pope
Even if they hanged me on a rope.

Allah swt looks down
and he can see every single little town,
ALLAH can see the elephant
To the tiny ant

My deen is so precious to me even if i am dead or alive
If the kafir said change your ways i would kill myself and dive.

Allah is the sustainer and is only one
Even the mightiest soldier would run,
I will never have let go of my deen
And all the muslims shall have seen.

Islam is the religion of tolerance,
Care, love and security
Islam is the religion of monotheism
Submitting to ALLAH, not the trinity
Believing all the books, the angels,
Messengers and Mohammad’s (PBUH) identity
From Adam to Jesus, son of Mary
The woman an example of purity
Mohammad (PBUH) is the last messenger
Who completed the message for all humanity.

Bismillah Al Rahman, Al Raheem:

“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar” you hear the athaan go on.
But you still decide to procrastinate, even when your family yells, “Come on!”

You think, “I still have time, before I really have to pray, ‘Asr is still hours away.”
Your head is saying “Go” but the Shaytaan is saying “No” so you go on anyway.

You go to your bed and decide to lie down, for just a few minutes you say.
But when your head hits the pillow, your body is overcome by a feeling, different than any other way.

You suddenly feel hot and nervous, and your throat is parched and dry.
You hear a voice call, “Why did you disobey me?” But you are unable to answer why.

Suddenly your life flashes before your eyes,
And feelings of guilt and regret are becoming hard to disguise.

Images and thoughts run through your head,
If only you did more useful things, but you wasted your time instead.

Every ill word you said, and every prayer you missed is presented,
If only you took life more seriously…if only you repented.

You say, “I didn’t know any better, I never knew to take a closer look”
But the voice replies, “Yes you did, you had The Holy Book.”

“In it you will find the meaning of life, and words of inspiration.
And the perfect example for mankind, the Prophet who received the revelation.”

“This life is but a stage, a mere drop compared to an ocean,
“So think not of the worldly things, and make sure that in your heart lies devotion.”

You wake up suddenly, alarmed and quivering.
“I wasted so much time!” you think, “good words and prayers I should be delivering.”

You pray, and then afterwards do some reflection,
And you decide to give your life a thorough inspection.

This life is so unpredictable; it can vanish very soon,
All that you see will perish, and only your deeds will remain with you.

So hold on to the Quran and the way of the Prophet (saw) for salvation,
And do not delay what you must do, remember Jannah, the ultimate destination.

Allah is the creator – he created everything.
He created the animals and the human being.
All-knowing is one of Allah’s attributes
and a gift of knowledge – Allah distributes.

To the best of his creation, known as mankind
and through this knowledge, goodness is defined.
So through prophets, this knowledge was bought
and through revealed books, it was taught.

This knowledge is wealth, precious like gold
because keys to success, this alone does hold.
Success in both this world and the next,
a promise guaranteed by all revealed text.

Allah blessed man with an ability to think
and Allah taught Adam how to eat and drink.
Unlike the animals that live and roam,
he taught him how to make clothes and a home.

Even today, Adam’s knowledge is taught
and in colleges and universities, it is sought.
This knowledge gives mankind a better life –
more peace and harmony, less struggle and strife

Instead of living rough and under trees,
he can live in good homes with its luxuries
The darkest of night becomes bright like day
and even the ocean’s darkness goes away.

Instead of walking trips or running around,
he travels much quicker – faster than sound!
He can travel in comfort in today’s transport
and travel through the skies, from port to port.

He has advanced in medicine and healthcare
and many serious injuries, he can now repair.
Although death is something he cannot cure,
many illnesses are now treated, that’s for sure.

We turn to our Lord and in gratitude we pray:
that this advancement will continue and stay.
This remains a means of comfort and peace
and through this, many hardships will cease.

We turn to our Lord and in hope we pray:
this won’t become a means to destroy and slay.
It doesn’t lead mankind to death and murder
and into misery, we won’t slide further

By all means give us G M fruit
– to alleviate hunger, if this is the route,
But save us from evil – this is our plea,
such as mixing the genes of man and monkey!

The methods of Adam and Eve have its place.
It’s the foundation to continue the human race.
We hope that those days won’t ever be received,
when our offspring are cloned and not conceived!

We pray for knowledge that will benefit man
and will benefit humans thought their life-span.
Protect us from useless knowledge, we also pray
and safety from bad knowledge and going astray.

Instill within us love and dedication to good
to standup for the truth, like the prophets stood.
And save us from the message of evil and hate,
which is the message that bad politics does create.

The world is driven by darkness
Evil so monstrous
Effects so disastrous
It’s all too dangerous
From up high, below and on surface
Being told lies by those anonymous
I hear & see screams of distress
On T.V it plays and plays continuous
Where are the Muslims?
Stop being afraid coz’ you’re not useless
Faith will make you strong and fearless
Stand firm and be courageous!
You know your being played…it’s all so obvious
The desire of this world is your WEAKNESS!
Wake up don’t be in darkness
By Allaah He has made us a promise
Yes the Most Merciful, The Most Gracious

That the day will ARRIVE when the entire world is washed clean
When justice prevails & the rise of every pious Mu’mineen
I’ll tell you exactly what I mean
The world’s deserts will turn green

When Quranic principles are held high
You’ll see the sparkling, blue-like jewel sky
No politician tell you lie after lie
No matter how much they continue to defy
Allaah’s promise is a promise
His light will illuminate the world from darkness

Beasts of prey will turn harmless
No more greed nor heartlessnes
Abundant happiness
No more distress
This or that horrid stress

The nations will join hand in hand
Peace shall prevail throughout the land
No more weapons & the one-eyed man

As the world excels in more & more discovery
And we see the rise of advanced technology
It will drive wealth and agriculture
Every person, whatever the culture
Will be one nation
Better links, better communication
No more racism, atheism, materialism, humanism
And all forms of polytheism

No more drama,
Everything calmer
Not promised by Obama
All given to this Ummah
Prophesized by the Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wassalam)
Near the end of times…there’ll be one Khilafa!

Wealth will flourish
Everyone so nourish
Crimes abolish
This aint no gibberish

Major signs will come & go
After Minor signs have passed stage by stage
In time ya’all see this Golden Age!

By SparkaPoet
“Stand Firm….Be Courageous
His With You, The Most Gracious
After All, He Commands The Universe”

Inspired to write by the following verse:
‘Allah has decreed: “Verily, I and my Messengers who shall be the Victorious.” Allah is Most Strong, Almighty,’ (58:21).

Golden Age – This age will be an era where the entire world will live in peace and harmony, in comfort and luxury, mentioned in Hadeeths as a paradise like description on earth after the Dajjal (Anti-christ) is destroyed and Isa (saw) will rule for 40 years.

People I suggest you read this book:
‘The Golden Age’ by Harun Yahya
So much interesting information on that book

When you feel all alone in this world
And there’s nobody to count your tears
Just remember, no matter where you are
Allah knows
Allah knows

When you carrying a monster load
And you wonder how far you can go
With every step on that road that you take
Allah knows
Allah knows

No matter what, inside or out
There’s one thing of which there’s no doubt
Allah knows
Allah knows
And whatever lies in the heavens and the earth
Every star in this whole universe
Allah knows
Allah knows

When you find that special someone
Feel your whole life has barely begun
You can walk on the moon, shout it to everyone
Allah knows
Allah knows

When you gaze with love in your eyes
Catch a glimpse of paradise
And you see your child take the first breath of life
Allah knows
Allah knows

When you lose someone close to your heart
See your whole world fall apart
And you try to go on but it seems so hard
Allah knows
Allah knows

You see we all have a path to choose
Through the valleys and hills we go
With the ups and the downs, never fret never frown
Allah knows
Allah knows

Every grain of sand,
In every desert land, He knows.
Every shade of palm,
every closed hand, He knows.
Every sparkling tear,
On every eyelash, He knows.
Every thought I have,
And every word I share, He knows.
Allah knows

I know I’m heard, I feel ill with fear.
I bow with knowledge, the end is near.
I think of Qiamah, my heart just hurts.
what can I expect to witness first?

where will I go?….who will I be…
when the angel of death comes seeking me?
what can I say, to justify all?
right now I am feeling incredibly small.

no one can help me, no one can stand…
take all of the blame, or even take hold of my hand.
I am alone, but Allah will have mercy.
for he let’s me drink when I am so thirsty.

He feeds me life, and has always given me ease,
given me roads and doors with their keys.
I have always come out okay in the end.
when I realized Islam was my only true friend.

I open the pages of that Book and read with my hurting heart.
I see things making sense in this world we rip apart.
I read those words aloud to let my soul hear well.
I read about the consequence of lies and about the pits of hell.
I read about the rivers that flow with honey, milk and wine.
I read about the gifts of heaven and how the insides shine.
I read about the rights to man and read about the signs.
I read about the miracles and how nothing is unrefined.
I see the truth through words that sing
Read about every cure, every little thing.
I read of how I’m protected with examples from the past.
I read of how I’m meant to pray, and how I’m meant to fast.
My soul is reassured of what it has to do.
A guide Book for my life, a guide book that’s for you!
”No compulsion in religion” is what the Book does say,
Warnings not to be unjust in times of war or pay.
Even the simplest things no man can jot from head.
Like how the pharaoh died and what battles blood was shed.
Like how mountains are pegged into the earth and the
fetus forms inside the womb.
Like how honey is a cure and how we can prevent
pain from satins nasty doom.
Like the way the word year is mentioned 365 times in this book….
If you don’t believe that, take a careful close up look!
Like the way it talks about planets floating in an orbit high.
With seven skies and thunder is the angel’s praising cry.
It tells us about the black hole that sweeps everything in its way.
Only discovered recently by scientist and nothing that they say…
Nothing that they’ve said has not been mentioned in this Book.
If you don’t believe that, then take a careful close up look!
Like the way my heart feels when I’ve read a couple lines.
How my chin is lifted and my heart and soul shines.
There’s so much more I’d be here all day.
Proof this Book is not a mere eloquent play
This Book, all the education of today
This Book, see what it has to say.
What would you lose by reading a page?
Your sure to feel no hatred, no anger nor mans cruel rage.
Open your eyes for this Book is made ”for those who understand!”
I quote that from the Book itself
It’s time you had a look to see if you can READ….
It’s time you gave your soul a chance, see it for yourself.

This is the story of Ramadan
The month that cannot be outdone
Put aside all the fun
Fasting from dawn to the set of sun

Ramadan said.
“Oh people! Don’t be sad what more mad”
From children, mum and dad
“I’m here, you should be glad”

Ramadan begged, “Make full use of me, please”*
Since eleven months you had your tease
Just focus and increase your devotion
That is the Ramadan’s attraction

But, people easily lost track
They disagreed and widen the crack
Eight or Twenty!
They just argue aplenty

We hear this often again and again
Ramadan is a month of gain
Unfortunately for some it is a month of pain
But for the obvious – the calculation is plain

A night equals a month of thousand**
That is way beyond reason
Eight or twenty isn’t the matter
Just gather and do your congregational prayer!

Another thing Ramadan observed
A unique phenomenon Ramadan doesn’t deserve
The attitude to shop till you drop
With ‘Ramadan Bazaar’ like mushroom it crops

“Oh People! When do you want to learn?”
Just a month please ignore your fleshy yearn
Focus on me – it’s my turn
Show me what can you churn?

Rasulullah (pbuh) treats me special
Twice he completed the recital***
Not to mention the last ten nights
Allah should be your sight****

“Oh People, take this opportunity”
Increase your devotion with integrity
You won’t know it may be your last Ramadan to see
Just focus on your ibadah – and yes it’s free!

*Ibn ‘Abbas narrates “that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was the most generous person, and he would be at his most generous in Ramadan because Jibril would come to him every night and he would rehearse the Qur’an with him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Eng. trans. 6/486)

** Al-Quran 97:1-5 “We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the night of Power: And what will explain to thee what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand Months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah’s permission, on every errand: Peace! This until the rise of Morn!”

***Further, Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated from her father (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who told her that Jibril would rehearse the Quran with him (in Ramadan) once every year, and he did so twice in the year of his death. (Bukhari 6/485)

**** Imam Bukhari reports from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would tighten his waist-cloth (i.e. detach himself from his wives), spend the night in worship and awake his family, during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

Name : Save your soul

If you want to survive, you can survive.
If you want to save your soul, you can save it.
He was so proud even he tried to die for his religion
But he never did what it takes to reach the orchid.
He was outflanking his soul, but he never felt that
He was disappointed, like tatters he was cracked.
His soul was taunting him, every time he try to relax.
If you want to survive, you can survive.
If you want to save your soul, you can save it.
He was grieving all the time, thinking about it.
Every time he was being greeted, he repeated it gruff reply.
Without grouse he was sitting on the yard.
Over and over again he hated his grisly times.
Even he had a grudge to his self, but he never tried to return.
His stubbornness was the inconvenient.
If you want to survive, you can survive.
If you want to save your soul, you can save it.
He never tried to obliterate his sins and that is why he has no confidence to his self.
While he was in that condition, he tasted the death and visited the graveyard.
When the ooze hold his back, he never thought about it and his pomposity was the reason why.
If you want to survive, you can survive.
If you want to save your soul, you can save it.

Stand strong upon the mountain
For truth is on your side
Though the ground appears to break
and the earth is opening wide

Stand strong upon the mountain
Our Deen is there to guide
Though the world appears to shake
Your very heart from deep inside

Stand strong upon the mountain
Those words so well revealed
Though the world will always doubt
Use that age old shield

Stand strong upon the mountain
That evil can’t abide
Though it wants to fight the truth
Allah’s on your side

Stand strong upon the mountain
Even death can’t reach you there
Though it tries to make you fear
Go forth without a care

Welcome to Ramadan, the month of mercy.
Sit yourself calm and witness the beauty.

Feel the pure breeze under the shade of palm trees,
Forgiveness – even if sins stretch seven seas.

The month of reflecting on the life we’ve spent
And how it healed after every dent.

The time to realize your true objective
And to live Islam fully and not selective.

The time to appreciate the food and drink.
To unite rich and poor and provide the link.

The month of the struggle to grasp your soul,
For the next eleven months, in full control.

This is the time when the gates of hell are shut.
The devil is locked up and his work is cut.

The doors of mercy are opened up wide
And Allah’s blessings are always on your side

This is the month when the Qur’an was revealed,
The last revelation – the door had been sealed.

A true guidance for the whole of mankind,
No better words elsewhere will we ever find.

This is the month in which falls the Night of Power,
‘Better than a thousand months’, the blessings shower.

The angels descend on us so that they may see
The faces of believers in tranquility.

Don’t ignore this Ramadan; it could be your last.
Strive to obtain Allah’s pleasure and hold your fast.

Tomorrow could be your final day, be prepared.
Seize today by the neck and have no chance spared.

From Jordan to Tangier, from China to USA,
Even if we lie on the moon, our unity must stay.

Our shoulders must stick together, and so must our hearts.
We must have love for one anther, we must each do our part.

From Brazil to Zaire, from Quebec to Bahrain,
Our hearts must be together, disregard geographical domains.

Our faith must be deeper than blood, especially deeper than our nations,
This is critical for our brotherhood and this is no exaggeration.

From Tabruk to Sukkur, from Kabul to Sudan,
Muslims must unite, no matter what the name is of your land!

Let’s give each other smiles, let’s give each other good vibes,
Let’s give each other support, regardless of our tribes.

From Norway to the Congo, from Mali to Chicago,
We are still one Ummah, and this is what we all must know.

Let’s have mercy on each other, and lets do away with hate,
Let’s stand and unite, and for unity let’s not wait.

From the Arctic to the Sahara, form the land to the sea,
Muslims please wake up, this is a call for unity.

It was ‘divide and conquer’, that weapon brought us down,
Well let’s get back up, we’re still one Ummah regardless of our town.

From Muslim to Muslim, from this one to that one,
This is a call for unity, from unity please don’t run.

??? ??? ???? ?? ????? ???? ???? ???????
“If God intends to guide a man,
He opens his bosom to Islam”
al-Quran 6:125

My journey to Islam has indeed been long
But my boots are good and my legs are strong
My backpack has known both light and heavy loads
My wandering has been along all kinds of roads
Few were the places where I did not roam
At last I feel that I have found the way home
It took a long time and I regret being late
But the once crooked path now appears to be straight

My starting point quite naturally can be found
In my fairly normal Scandinavian background
Although born in Copenhagen I grew up on a farm
In a small village and well remember the charm
Spending much of my childhood playing in the woods
With my brothers – either Indians or little Robin Hoods

With secular parents and as an ethnic Dane
There was no encouragement to fill my brain
With religious matters, all that was to come
Much later but, looking back, I do see some
Signs of at least a beginning interest
In subjects which could probably best
Be generally labelled as spiritual –

I tried briefly to embrace the usual
Silly things that young people tend to do
But felt not only awkward but out of place too
So was never accepted fully by the local group
And instinctively avoided the endless loop
Of parties and alcohol and went against the flow
By failing the drugs-test: I always said NO!
That was not as easy as it may sound
But I did say NO and with that I found
A sense of pride and independence of mind
Whilst realising that I was of a different kind…

I was drawn to Nature from very early on
When old enough to explore the World I was gone
And went to the mountains for the very first time
Aged around twenty – and from then on to climb
Was a new-found passion which steadily grew
It was all that I really wanted to do
And soon I was a competent mountaineer
Spending all my spare time year after year
Satisfying my urge to travel and my demands
For adventure in the mountains of many different lands

Having laboured and struggled for hours to get
To the summit you can finally relax and let
Your soul expand and your spirit fly!
On a windless day feel the silence of the sky!
The curvature of the Earth clearly spread
Out along the blue horizon ahead
And around you as far as the eye can see –
Just sit on a mountain-top and simply BE!
On lucky days hear the beat of your own heart!
All too soon the time comes to depart
(Unless you came prepared with sleeping gear)
So stay alert and with a bit of healthy fear
Retrace your steps with extra care
For with the goal attained this is where
Most accidents happen – on the way down
Was the end of many a climber of renown…

I had retrained to computers and tried to combine
Assignments with travelling and it worked out fine
Spent a few years in Arabia and had the chance
To learn the language but sadly took the stance
That it was only for the money and English was my tongue –
Can you believe the stupid things we do when we are young!?
If only I had learnt Arabic all those years ago
I could read the Quran today in the natural flow
And layers of meaning of the original –
I still have not acquired the necessary skill
But one day Inshallah I hope I will…

After that I sold my house and bought a boat
And spent the next few years living afloat
Sailing offshore, just yourself the wind and sea
Out of sight of any land, finally free
Of petty interruptions, the King of your own realm
Your little mobile island responding to the helm!
Or peacefully at anchor in some deserted bay
Having finished the chores sit and watch the day
Turn first into evening and then into night
Sleeping outside under stars or moonlight

Feeling disillusioned in general with the West
The over-powering plastic culture that I so detest
Turning people into consumers from a very early age
Chasing shadows with no substance, I had to turn the page
And so I looked elsewhere and began to think
And search for answers and for a missing link
Between matter and spirit, between body and soul –
Something that could unite them and make me whole…

Wishing neither to criticise nor to be rude
But after investigating I had to conclude
That Christianity was for me in most respects
Not just found wanting but had major defects –
For more about that I would ask you to read
My poem Jesus Crisis and it should lead
You to understand what I mean when I say
That I always felt this would not be MY way…

Neither did Buddhism nor Hinduism appeal
Sufficiently for me to consider them ideal –
The older I get the clearer that I am
And always was pre-programmed for Islam!

Travelling for many months in Muslim lands
I met Islam in action and began to understand
What a sensible and complete way of life it is
And without any resistance I realised that this
Was not only attractive but I had a strong
Feeling that this is where I always did belong,
Of coming home or somehow having been here before –
From then on I wanted to learn more and more

I bought an English Quran and began to read
And although I found it interesting indeed
I could not connect with it in a meaningful way
Until out of the blue, suddenly one day
The book, or at least part of it, came alive
When the words of chapter six verse one-two-five
Almost seemed to speak to me – that was the start
And since I began practising that verse has been a part
Of every single prayer – may it remain so
Regardless where the rest of my journey may go

Once in Morocco at a market stall I heard
A beautiful recital and soon it occurred
To me that the Quran was floating on the air
Transfixed and listening, I simply stood there:
Understanding only the occasional word
The player was decrepit, the sound was blurred
And the performer average, yet I did hear
The message itself and it was crystal clear
So direct and sincere, so pure and dignified –
The effect was so wonderful that I confess I cried…

In Istanbul the masjids took my breath away
And was inside at least one of them every single day
The weeks I spent in Turkey I was able to learn
So much about that magic country – I shall return!

Little by little and one step at a time
It all fell into place and began to rhyme
And resonate with how I wanted to live
It all felt so natural and positive
I knew the direction I wanted to go
So made the Shahada to let the World know
That there was now one Muslim more
Though I felt exactly the same as before
In truth the change was quite small because
I only became what I already was!

Having never prayed before I was almost afraid
But I need not have worried and before long I made
The wise decision to leave my arrogance behind
To concentrate on how to focus my mind
Not yet an expert but it cannot be denied
It is therapeutic, peaceful and dignified
And without boasting I am happy to report
So far my tally is not one prayer short
Of what it should be – five times every day
But to be honest I also have to say
Due to worldly commitments not always on time –
But Islam is pragmatic and that is not a crime

Often I ask myself: Why did it take so long
To follow my intuition which for years was so strong
Prompting and urging me towards Islam??
I simply do not know but hope that no harm
Was done by waiting until absolutely sure
That my reasons were good and sincere and pure…

Islam is the way, not just for me but for us all
And some day soon Inshallah YOU will hear the call
To prayer loud and clear from a masjid near you
May you not just hear it – but answer it too!

In the Name of Allah begin every action
Obey, serve and worship Allah with devotion
Offer Salaah with humility an attention,
Read the Qur’an with understanding and comprehension.

Strive in Allah’s way with Qur’anic inspiration
Let Allah’s pleasure be our only aspiration
And success in the Hereafter,
Be our sole ambition.

Memorize Qur’anic quotations
Engage in Dhikr and Soul-Purification
Do Da’wah with wisdom,
Beautiful preaching and graceful persuasion.

There is no time now to relax
That we may Inshallah do in Paradise perhaps
Now be more concerned with earning Sawaab,
And maintain all norms of Hijaab.

In Religion there is no compulsion
At stake is your own Salvation
For the Truth stands out from error,
Make sure you do not regret later.

On the basis of color, wealth, or region
Let there be no distinction
In the Muslim Ummah let there be no division,
In the Qur’an will you find such injunctions.

Let us be One Strong United Brotherhood
Concerned about each others’ welfare and good
Offering the needy and orphans food,
Over losses do not brood.

We follow the ways of beloved Prophet Muhammad
Sallallahu alaihi wasallam
Allah’s Last and Final Messenger
The Most Sublime of all humans
The Most Exalted in Character.

We follow his Sunnah and Guidance
And do not cause on earth mischief or nuisance
Islam is a Religion of Peace
It’s Attraction and Glory will never cease.

Do adopt the Islamic Way of Life
Be faithful to your husband or wife
In writing put all your contracts and agreements
Honor and keep all your promises and commitments.

Life after death is a certainty
Do not treat this life with laxity
Do not indulge in frivolous gaiety
And shun all obscenity and vulgarity.

Islam recommends virtues
Such as Honesty, Chastity and Charity
Do good deeds with sincerity
Almighty Willing you may attain eternal felicity.

On usury and interest there is prohibition
On trade there is blessing and divine sanction
Be honest and fair,
In every transaction.

Islam is here to reign supreme
However much the mushriks may scheme
This is neither utopia nor dream,
Righteous Muslims will emerge as the Victorious Team.

Allah’s Oneness to all we proclaim
We seek neither wealth nor any fame
Allah’s Pleasure is our only aim

Glorified be His Name,
May He save us from deeds of shame
And from hell’s fire and flame.

Aameen! Ya arhamar raahimeen.

My black dress i wear…
and at me almost everyone stear..
I walk out.i am a muslim and proud..
remember that Islam is my ground..
my black dress i wear..because from Allah i have fear…
so if everyone at me stear…
i at youm al qiamah have more fear…
Ya Allah, let me soon to come near…
to You i hope i will soon be there…
help me so i not at the peaople stear
when i lay my soul on the ground..
help my black dress no one will found

Everyday and every night
You pray to Allah, with all your might
You love him lots and respect him too
But you have this fear, inside of you
And this fear, that will get you through
To worship Allah, He will help you

When you feel lonely, you remember Him
When you feel scared, you remember Him
When you are upset, you remember Him
When you are happy, you remember Him
When you laugh, you remember Him
When you smile, you remember Him
And Allah remembers you too

There are people out there, who don’t pray
They forget their religion; they feel their life is astray
But then there are those, who pray night and day
They fight the Shaitan, they make him go away
So they can worship Allah, Who helps them stay
Who helps them with Islam, in every single way

Allah wants you to ask for everything
He is your Lord, He is your King
He is the only one, Who is able to bring
The glimmering light, which is brightly shining
So this is the time, where you do your part
You ask for forgiveness and help, that is where you start

When you feel lonely, you remember Him
When you feel scared, you remember Him
When you are upset, you remember Him
When you are happy, you remember Him
When you laugh, you remember Him
When you smile, you remember Him
And Allah remembers you too

We’d cry if a loved one’s blood was spilt,
yet from our ummah its been falling to the ground like rain.
So how many eyes are wet? Have you not seen that even innocent children have been slain?

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
Some raise their voice, yet our blood still flows the next day.

Just by hearing the word ‘Bosnia,’ our tears should just flow.
Or have we forgotten it already, was it that long ago?

The earth was soaked with their blood,
yet the world just turned the other way.
So as families got shattered like glass,
the world was silent and pretended that everything was ok.

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
Some raise their voice, yet our blood still flows the next day.

Children are starved to death in Iraq due to the UN’s nasty sanctions.
So who will stand up against this oppression being inflicted by the United Nations?

Thousands of innocent lives are slipping away while the ummah just looks on. They die due to starvation, yet because were too full, all we can do is yawn.

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
Some raise their voice, yet our blood still flows the next day.

Rivers of it have flown out of Palestine,
from what the Nazi-like Zionists have done.
They barged their way into Jerusalem,
causing rivers of Muslim blood to run.

Our sisters there get raped, and many of our brothers there get shot.
Was there anything other then pain that the rise of Zionism brought?

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
Some raise their voice, yet our blood still flows the next day.

Yet with Albania the world spoke up, yet what do words do without action? So as the Serbs just slaughtered our brothers, we barely had a reaction?

It was a holocaust indeed, yet it happened right under our eyes.
When are we going to wake up, after how many more lives?

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
Some raise their voice, yet our blood still flows the next day.

What’s sad is that this is not all,
the examples I mentioned are actually quite few.
I could keep saying words, yet there’s only so much that words can do.

Words just ripple through the air, and then quickly come to rest.
But actions speak louder then words, and action is what I suggest.

Some may try to deny it, some just look the other way.
We need more than words, or our blood will just flow again the next day.

Allah! Our Creator! All Knower, All Wise!
Master is HE of Earth and Paradise.
No partner, no family, no kith nor kin;
HE is the creator of mankind and jinn.

Muhammad(saw),the Final messenger;
A friend to all, he was no stranger.
The word of Allah, he did proclaim;
A man of courage, honour and fame.

When Gabriel descended, the Quran was revealed;
Muhammad(saw) was shaken, his lips were sealed.
Slowly, he knew why the Quran was sent;
the truth in it and what it meant.

He invited the people, far and near;
to embrace Islam without any fear.
He was mocked by the people and called a liar;
Little did they know, their abode was Hell-fire.

Muhammad (saw) went on, you could never see him cease;
His love for Allah never did decrease.
He fought many battles, took no defeat;
The enemies of Islam were forced to retreat.

The word of Allah spread far and wide;
Muslims took Quran as a sign and a guide.
Islam is our wealth, Quran our treasure;
Our love for Allah, no one can measure.

As I rise each day
Al-Hamdulillah I say
As I put on my dress
Al-Hamdulillah I express

As I fill my empty plate
Al-Hamdulillah I state
As I make ready to strive
Al-Hamdulillah for another day alive

As I hear the birds sing
Al-Hamdulillah for the melody they bring
As I watch the sun rise
Al-Hamdulillah for my eyes

As I wash in the stream
Al-Hamdulillah I am clean
As I pray my Salat
Al-Hamdulillah for the best start

As I share my gifts with neighbours
Al-Hamdulillah for Allah’s favours
As I delight with my family
Al-Hamdulillah for their care for me

As I pray for forgiveness
Al-Hamdulillah for deliverance
As I open the Qur’an
Al-Hamdulillah for my Iman

As I understand and take heed
Al-Hamdulillah, Al-Hamdulillah
For all the good I receive.

In the time of ignorance, Arabia was really savage,
They were a backwards nation, their way of life was a way of ravage.

However, they were eloquent speakers, who cared for their guests,
But who cares about that, these guys buried their daughters alive in jest!

They would often drink all night and wage war all day,
They would shamelessly fornicate; it was part of their way.

Then from amongst themselves came a shining light,
Who didn’t follow their ignorance, he did what was right.

He was known for his dignity and was called Amin,
Eventually he would be taught by Al-Hakeem.

He was then given the Message, and was sent to convey,
He was given the truth, he invited to the noblest way.

There were those who accepted it, and there were those who turned away,
There were those who were guided and there were those who went astray.

Tension grew between the groups as the days past by,
Muslims would be tied to the sand and left in the sun to fry.

The tension got so bad the Muslims went to Madina,
They were bringing Islam to a new arena.

The ummah was growing and the Message was spreading,
Towards justice and greatness the ummah was heading.

There were several battles, the ummah was attacked,
But nothing could stop them; they weren’t going to be sacked.

The ummah was spreading against all odds,
When you’re helped by Allah, danger is just a facade.

The Message was dispatched and the Messenger’s life was completed,
The ummah was saddened but was nowhere near being defeated.

The most righteous men became its most righteous leaders,
And the Message of Islam was spread thousands of meters.

The ummah became the foremost of those with powers,
And the justice of Islam was spreading like wild flowers.

As our ummah was spreading across the lands,
The treasures of the world fell in our hands.

As the generations came and the generations went,
There were some changes in the ummah that we didn’t prevent.

We started to see Muslims who were insincere,
Because love for the world happened to appear.

Leaders began to ignore the rules of Allah and act on desire,
They did this in hope of the treasure they wanted to acquire.

Somewhere along the line, kings started to appear,
Somewhere along the line the ummah started drinking beer.

With rage in our hearts, we were fighting each other,
With swords in our hands, we turned towards our brothers.

What happened to the ummah, where were we heading?
We ignored the Message, so corruption was spreading.

The ummah that grew and became so great,
Was losing its honor, it began to dissipate.

As the time went on, the ummah remained in trouble,
The great empire of Islam was reduced to stubble.

Now the story comes to us, the majority of whom don’t even pray,
I don’t even think we practice the deen nearly halfway.

Alcohol is rampant, even during the days of Ramadan,
Zena is everywhere, don’t act like its not going on.

Our unity’s been shattered and we’ve left the Quran,
We don’t wake up for fajr, we wake up after dawn.

I’ve met ‘Muslim’ children, who don’t even know Allah’s name,
We were once great, but when we left the deen, look what we became!

We’ve lost our power, were the laughing stock of the nations,
Because we left the deen, we left our only foundation.

However, as a mercy from Allah, the Message was still preserved,
It was kept intact even though many of us may have swerved.

With Islam we are great, without it we are nothing,
Lets get back to this path, come on lets do something!

We have the map to greatness and Paradise too,
Whether or not you intend to use it is up to you.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link,
Don’t be the one that lets the whole ummah sink!

We had gone so far but then came down so low,
But lets get back up! Oh Allah, in Islam let us grow.

When you see a woman covered from head to toe
Or a man letting his beard grow
Do you think about the religion of murder and terror?
One can tell you, that you are in plain error
Don’t let the media brainwash you with their deception
They are only perverting your perception
Islam is not about bombing planes and taking innocent souls
None of this behavior is amongst our goals
We live to worship the One Creator
With the anticipation of meeting Him later
The reality is, Islam is about love and peace
In religion where your morality is sure to increase
By being good to one another, paying charity and fasting
The truth and goodness in Islam is everlasting
We are to treat others with compassion, mercy and love
By doing so, you’ll be satisfied and rewarded by the One above
The Qur’an says, saving on life is as if you saved all of mankind
So study Islam and the truth you will certainly find
Discover the reality of Islam by opening your eyes
To realize and correct all of these lies

Something for you to make you feel good while the fast life goes on and on…

I dreamed I was in heaven where an angel kept God’s book.
He was writing so intently I just had to take a look.
It was not, at first, his writing that made me stop and think
But the fluid in the bottle that was marked eternal ink.

This ink was most amazing, dark black upon his blotter
But as it touched the parchment it became as clear as water.
The angel kept on writing, but as quickly as a wink
The words were disappearing with that strange eternal ink.

The angel took no notice, but kept writing on and on.
He turned each page and filled it, till all its space was gone.
I thought he wrote to no avail, his efforts were so vain
For he wrote a thousand pages, that he’d never read again.

And as I watched and wondered that, this awesome sight was mine,
I actually saw a word stay black, as it dried upon the line.
The angel wrote and I thought I saw a look of satisfaction.
At last he had some print to show for all his earnest action.

A line or two dried dark and stayed as black as black can be,
But strangely the next paragraph became invisible to see.
The book was getting fuller, The angel’s records true,
But most of it was blank, with Just a few words coming through.

I knew there was some reason, But as hard as I could think,
I couldn’t grasp the significance Of that eternal ink.
The mystery burned within me, And I finally dared to ask
The angel to explain to me Of his amazing task.

And what I heard was frightful As the angel turned his head.
He looked directly at me, And this is what he said…
I know you stand and wonder, At what my writing’s worth
But Allah has told me to record, The lives of those on earth.

The book that I am filling, Is an accurate account
Of every word and action, And to what they do amount.
And since you have been watching I must tell you what is true;
The details of my journal, Are the strict accounts of YOU.

Allah asked me to watch you, As each day you worked and played.
I saw you as you went to the masjid, I saw you as you prayed.
But I was told to document, Your life through all the week.
I wrote when you were proud and bold, I wrote when you were meek.

I recorded all your attitudes Whether they were good or bad.
I was sorry that I had to write The things that make Allah sad.
So now I’ll tell the wonder Of this eternal ink,
For the reason for its mystery Should make you stop and think.

This ink that Allah created To help me keep my journal
Will only keep a record of Things that are eternal.
So much of life is wasted On things that matter not
So instead of my erasing, Smudging ink and ugly blot.

I just keep writing faithfully and Let the ink do all the rest
For it is able to decide What’s useless and what’s best.
And Allah ordained that as I write Of all you do and say
Your deeds that count for nothing Will just disappear away.

When books are opened someday, As sure as heaven is true;
Allah’s eternal ink will tell What mattered most to you.
If you just lived to please yourself The pages will be bare,
And Allah will issue no reward For you when you get there.

In fact, you’ll be embarrassed, You will hang your head in shame
Because you did not give yourself In love to Allah’s Name.
Yet may be there will be a few Recorded lines that stayed
That showed the times you truly cared, Sincerely loved and prayed.

But you will always wonder As you enter heaven’s door
How much more glad you would have been If only you’d done more.
For I record as Allah sees, I don’t stop to even think
Because the truth is written With Allah’s eternal ink.

When I heard the angel’s story I fell down and wept and cried
For as yet I still was dreaming I hadn’t really died.
And I said: O angel tell Allah That soon as I awake
I’ll live my life for Allah- I’ll do all for His dear sake.

I’ll give in full surrender; I’ll do all He wants me to;
I’ll turn my back on self and sin And whatever isn’t true.
And though the way seems long and rough I promise to endure.
I’m determined to pursue the things That are holy, clean and pure.

With Allah as my helper, I will win lost souls to Thee,
For I know that they will live with Allah For all eternity.
And that’s what really matters When my life on earth is gone
That I will stand before Allah And hear Him say, well done.

For is it really worth it As my life lies at the brink?
And I realize that Allah keeps books With His eternal ink.
Should all my life be focused On things that turn to dust?
From this point on I’ll serve Allah; I can, I will, I must!

I will NOT send blank pages Up to Allah’s majestic throne
For where that record’s going now Is my eternal home.
I’m giving all to Allah I now have seen the link
For I saw an angel write my life With Allah’s eternal ink.

A corrupt world we are in,
Where most of the people sin,
And the righteous just sit back and lean.

Don’t you fear your Lord?
Then stand up! And take your sword,
Instead of running off to the ward.

Basics they were taught,
Highest level of iman they bought,
And with a greater zeal they fought.

Talking about it now is a crime,
Though the teachings still rhyme,
Forgetting we are to dwell here for a short time.

Stand up for the right: You are strange,
Going to the light: Watch your range,
But praying to the Might: Will bring change.

Hopeless you feel: With sunken deep eyes,
Your tears you seal: The Ummah is filled with lies,
Jihad is real: Wake up O Believers and rise.

People warned against you: You are an extremist,
Some others boo you: You are on their list,
A terrorist they term you: Covering you with dust.

Don’t worry O Loved One: Allah is on your side,
You have already won: Truth about you they confide,
Don’t worry O Cherished One: Your buraq you will soon ride.

Minds deluded
Lives Poluted
Fitnah Created
Our Lord Forsaken
Living in this world as if we’re Blind ,
Not realizing that this is the time …

Ignoring the struggle we have Inside..
Allowing Shaitaan to rule our lives .

Letting this world to lead us Astray ..
and some of us even forgetting how to Pray .

Becoming Weak and loosing Iman
We have Fallen Into the Kafir’s Hand .

Letting him lead our Lives and teach us his ways
We started Treating Islam like it was ” Back in the days “
Like It has no signifigance in our lives today

What do we remember of those that lived before us today?
Do we ever look to their examples to show us the way?
Or are we like the rest and focus on the Kafir “civilized” way?

Being taught to Make money, then to break Money,
And in the end, all that matters is you have money.

If any of us that are caugh in these ways..
Now is the Time to WAKE UP ,
Reach for our TAQWAA and hold our HEADS UP

Regain our Islam and our IMAN
Unite to Stand STRONGLY hand in hand

Brother’s and Sister’s In the eyes of Allah
Side by Side, Fearing ONLY ALLAH

Allah the Creator

by Sister Aisha Teladia
(Aged 10) of Birmingham

How this big earth came to be,
And everything that we see,

Even things in outer space,
Came about by Allah’s grace.

How people lived so long ago,
Lessons that we have to know,

And who does Allah love the best,
And why He puts us all to test.

How He makes the raindrops fall,
And what about the tree so tall,

What about the plants that grow,
And reasons for the wind to blow.

How about the oceans wide,
And different animals that we ride,

Not to mention mountains high,
And the magnificence of the sky.

Find out what we must not do,
Things that are bad for me and you,

Also things that are right,
And how we can all gain insight.

And the nature and the glory,
Unfolds like a beautiful story,

Of Almighty as He talks to you,
Conveying a message pure and true,

Read it up in the Qur`aan,
It will strengthen your Imaan.

The Day of Judgement is closer than ever,

People aren’t caring – however,

Allah is just,

Allah is fair,

He helps us through our lives,

But some of us don’t care,

We need to think,

We need to change,

When the signs come,

For some it will seem strange.

On that day,

The universe won’t exist,

Earth will be gone,

There won’t even be mist.

No day, no night,

No dark, no light,

No space, no stars,

No Earth, no Mars.

As I say,

The universe won’t exist,

Earth will be gone,

Nothing will persist.

We will stand before our lord,

We will stand before our creator,

Our life will be seen,

Sooner or later.

As Salaam Alaikum
Walaikum As Salaam
Dis how we do it
Doin’ ibaada subha and shaam
Allah Subhana Wata’ala

To only u we do dua’a
And say ‘La illaha illallah’
That there is no god but Allah
Ya Ghafur ur Raheem
You sent us the seal of the prophets
He told us to follow ur deen
And made us the chosen ummah
And called us Muslimeen
Ya allah, keep us on the straight path
And not one of the kafireen

Wait I said, I’m not ready to leap
Jump! You echoed Time waits not for the undecided.
Will you ever be ready? You plungered on.
Have We not given you so much reason to trust?
Leap? I questioned. But that would mean I would be relinquishing all control.
Believe! I affirmed, You have never given me reason to distrust.
I jumped, and You caught me, raising me from the lows of my tumbles.
I believe! I reaffirmed.
Trust came from past experiences,
But certainty came from jumping.

Islam in general
Islam is incredible
To be a little suitable
Quran is lyrical and truthful
Humble when I read it
Humble when ever I hear it
Islam is a way of life
Islam is my way of life
Islam is the only truth in this life
Now tell me what’s right
Mistaken for the wrong mind
Just let the creatures
And the human preachers take all the wounds of this nature
Too hard on paper?!
God did give you the past the present and the future written
All you got to do is look into it and start pitching
And if your ashamed of the way you livin
Open the doors of Islam and you’ll be full of blessings

Thank you Allah, for giving me more then i deserve and need. I am a ungrateful slave forgive me for my greed.

Thank you Allah for always being there when everyone else will leave. Im never alone i understand this because YAA Allah i believe.

Thank you Allah for blessing us with beautiful fathers and mothers. I am truly blessed with amazing sisters and brothers.

Thank you Allah for picking me to be born for this test. I am internally grateful and i will never forget in this world i am only a guest.

Thank you Allah for giving us the noble Quran, even though we are clueless of its power and leave it on the highest shelf in our Makaan.

Thank you Allah for my hands my legs my nose my mouth my eyes. If i had to thank for only these i would never be able to get up from my knees and rise.

Thank You Allah for this beautiful air i breathe. I fear the day i will not need this air and be 6 foot underneath.

Thank you Allah i will say this for the rest of my life and more. For i understand i can never count YOUR blessings my head should never rise from the floor.

Thank You Allah ????

let me hide in you, ya Allah,
from everything that
distracts me from you.

YA Allah
let me hide in you
from everything that
comes in my way
when i want to run to you.

I Promise to the ONE In Who’s Hands My Soul Rests I’ll Try My Best To Pass This Test,
But I’ll Need Your Help Along The Way Because YAA ALLAH I Fear Of Going Astray,
I Fear The Fire Of Hell Is Where I’m Heading So Please My LORD Keep This Black Darkness Within Me From Spreading,
What I Fear Most Is When I Get Up From The Grave Where I Shall Lay And Stand Before You For My Results On Judgement Day.

The fourth pillar of Islaam
Is fasting which we do

Once a year in Ramadaan
To make us stronger too

Right from when the day begins
We start to fast you see

And when the sun has set completely
That’s when we can eat

Ramadaan is such a great time!
More Qur’aan we read

And Allaah gives us more rewards!
For doing each good deed

The gates of Paradise are opened
During Ramadaan!
It’s a time when Muslims try
To strengthen their Imaan

Look forward then to Ramadaan
For one month it will last
And Allaah will give huge rewards
For every single fast!

Learn to call on Allah,
In the dark,
While Riding on a bus,
Or sitting in a park

Learn to do it when,
Alone in a room,
Or staying up late,
Staring at the moon

And if someone boasts about,
What he did for Allah,
And asks you to tell him,
What you did for Allah

Just Say, “Why should I tell you”
If I did it for Allah?”

This life we are told is indeed a test
so every nation with prophets was blessed
124 thousand we learn from Hadith
prophets came with the message of peace

They had the same message, Allah is one
he has no partners and has no son
Do good deeds and worship your Lord,
help the needy with what you can afford

David, Jesus, Abraham, Moses and more
are some of the prophets that came before
They were only men we mustn’t confuse
selected by Allah to bring the good news

After these Prophets had passed away
people got mixed up and went astray
They changed the message to suit their needs
worshipped idols and start bad deeds

Another Prophet Allah would send
and their way of life he would amend
This pattern repeated again and again
until Muhammed the final messenger came

A madman, a poet, a magician or what
all of the above he was not
His honesty and character they had all seen
this pure noble soul they called Al-Amin

Muhammed the truthful, was indeed sincere
Allah’s final messenger to many it was clear
He had been appointed to guide mankind
to illuminate ignorant hearts so blind

The message was beautiful and so pure
to the hearts of mankind the wisdom did lure
It filled their lives with love and compassion
Muhammed words? No it can only be revelation

The prophet himself could not read or write
yet Allah gave him this illuminating light
It entered their hearts purifying their souls
and the faithful scribes wrote it on scrolls

In Ramadan the whole Quran was recited and said
even today by millions of Muslims it is read
Every word was recorded like the prophet was told
the exact same message fourteen hundred years old

The Quran is now for all mankind a guide,
it can never be changed and will forever abide,
Its a promise of Allah – an undisputed fact
the message sent to Muhammed will remain intact

No more idols or lords we should erect
the oneness of Allah we should respect
Part of the first pillar known as Tawheed
recited la-illah ha illallah the Muslim creed

We should pray Salah like the prophet taught
and ask for Allah’s help like the Prophet sought
To taqwah and unity this will indeed give rise
the second pillar of Islam, the spiritual exercise

We must fast in the whole month of Ramadan
and do good deeds as many as we can
This gift of life we begin to appreciate
by not drinking or eating not even a date

Ramadan is a month Muslims eagerly await
peace, unity and happiness it does create
removing the blinkers a fresh outlook we see
this wonderful month, pillar number three

Some of our wealth we give to those in need
the homeless and hungry we must try and feed
The poor are helped much by this gift so small
this is called Zakat the fourth pillar so tall

To visit the Kabaah, the house of Allah
every Muslim must travel from near and far
Once in a lifetime this great journey we make
the final pillar, a tough task we undertake

The rich, the poor, the black and the white
the male, the female equal in Allah’s sight
From all walks of life to hajj they all came
standing before Allah they are all the same

To always be good and honest we must try
we need to remember one day we will die
Only a very small time we can spend here
then we must leave this world so dear

We will be asked about the life we spent
if we did good to heaven we will be sent
this will be decided on the Judgment day
and in heaven or hell we will forever stay

No more guides or prophets will be sent again
instead we have the Quran so deep yet plain
If we get confused to the Quran we turn
a message from the most high from which to learn

For all mankind and forever more
wisdom and teachings it does store
To eternal life it opens the door
the words of our creator that we cant ignore

There are millions of Muslims in the world today
the fastest growing religion experts say
Together to the one true God Muslims Pray
by following the Quran, its only Allah we Obey

If Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) visited you, just for a day or two
If he came unexpectedly, I wonder what you would do!

Oh I know, you would give him your nicest room, to such an honoured guest
And all the food you would serve to him would be the very best

And you would keep assuring him, you are glad to have him there
That serving him in your home is joy beyond compare

But … when you saw him coming, would you meet him at the door
With arms outstretched in welcome to your heavenly visitor?

Or … would you have to change your clothes before you let him in?
Or hide the magazines and put the Quraan where they had been?

Would you still watch movies on your TV sets
Or would you rush to switch it off, before he gets upset?

Would you turn off the radio and hope he hadn’t heard
And wish you hadn’t uttered the last loud hasty word?

Would you hide your worldly music, and instead take a Hadith book out
Could you let him walk right in, or would you rush about?

It might be interesting to know the things you would do
If Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) in person came to spend some time with you

ALLAH sent down the prophets to tell us to pray
But the kafir just said we need evidence to obey,
Now they have passed away and are dead
They realize they should have done as the prophet said.

Allah is the creator and is only one,
Nobody should worship the moon or the sun.

The kafir are now gone
Don’t do as they had done.
Do as Allah had said
Or you’ll end up like them when you are dead.

We have been told numerous times
That the journey to Jannah is not a free ride.
Trials and tests we must all face
To distinguish between the true and weak-faith.

Many give up while on the true path
We can see that the weak-hearted never last.
True love for Allaah always sees us through
If you keep making duâ’aa, He’ll respond to you.

Nay! He is not named Al-Mujeeb for nothing
Verily, Allaah truly is The Responsive.
The plea of His slave, He loves to Hear
Surely, can you believe that Allaah’s not there?

Patience is a virtue that must be attained
By the Will of Allaah, Jannah will be gained.
With every hardship definitely comes ease
Allaah’s our Witness, Al-Shaheed.

Along with patience comes gratitude
Allaah’s The Loving, Al-Wadood.
Truly He loves us when we obey
If we stick to Islaam, we’ll never go astray.

Tribulations befall those whom Allaah loves
Passing His tests makes you free like as a dove.
To know that you stuck through it with Him
Truly Allaah Knows all, He’s Al-‘Aleem!

The lines below are taken from my main poem “Nature At Play” which I posted just a couple of weeks ago….and Japan Earthquake happened just like it….

“Ocean Seabed.
Wave Ahead.
Lives Taken.
We Dread.
Water Spread.”

SubhanaAllaah I never in my life saw water spread on land at the speed of 60mph!
What’s more striking is that this might mark (I am only guessing)….one of the major signs of judgement day “Sinking in the East” Coz not only is land going under water by Tsunami…its going under by landslide/mudslide! But ofcourse Allaah knows best!
The start of this year has marked many major events in the world like never before
so I feel all these signs are enough for us to reflect!
Pray for all those lives lost and people affected dear brothers and sisters

what if we all smiled to a total stranger
instead of walking past them if they were danger,
even smiled at those who hates us
perhaps thieir hearts would soften and they would embrace us,
smile when it rained
showing gratitude to almighty what he has created,
smile at our brothers and sisters
so that it creates love and removes suspicious,
smile even at our neighbours
something our prophet emphasise with eagerness,
smile on trivial matters
escaping from jealousy and hatred,
smile at those who are in distress
pray to allah to give them happiness and success,
smile to please the most kind, the most merciful
allah will love us indeed allah will love us.

The Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him said:

“Charity is prescribed for each descendant of Adam every day the sun rises.”He was then asked: From what do we give charity every day?” The Prophet answered: “The doors of goodness are many…enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one’s legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the feeble with the strength of one’s arms-all of these are charity prescribed for you.” He also said ” Your smile for your brother is charity.” Narrated `Aisha (prophet Muhammad’s wife) -may allah be pleased with her- : “I never saw the Prophet laughing to an extent that one could see his palate, but he always used to smile”.

And indeed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) followed this advice in his everyday life, so much so that `Abd Allah b. al-Hârith said: “I have never seen anyone more in the habit of smiling than Allah’s Messenger.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhî (3574)]

Even on the day he died, while lying in his sickbed, he did not neglect to smile. While Abû Bakr was getting the people lined up for prayer, the Prophet managed to stand up and move aside the curtain of his room. His face was like a page from a Qur’an manuscript. Yet he smiled at them, a bright laughing smile. [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (639) and Sahîh Muslim (636)]

Remember oh believer,
The command of the divine
The five pillars you must uphold,
In their noor you must shine.

Recite the Kalimah,
Always keep it in mind,
Greater it is in weight,
Than the heavens and earth combined.

Remember your salat,
Say it five times a day,
For unsuccessful are those,
Who do not pray.

Remember zakat and of course haj and fasting,
The benefit of each,
Will surely be ever lasting.

Remember that day,
Which has been foretold,
When only your deeds will remain,
Not the status or wealth you hold.

When the trumpet will sound,
Will you then realize your blunder,
Too late!! The earth will shatter,
The heavens will split asunder.

Every soul will die,
And then each one resurrected,
Falsehoods and misconceptions,
Will all be corrected.

That day you will stand,
With the rest of creation,
Infront of your lord,
To be granted mercy or face the retribution.

When the judgment begins,
Every action you will be made to remember,
The choices that you made,
To their fate you will have to surrender.

So remember and reflect,
For this lesson you must learn,
To Allah we belong,
To him is our final return…

Peace Be Upon You, Prophets Of Allah
How Much Have They Corrupted Your Message
Peace Be Upon You, Apostles Of Allah
How Despretely and Determined were
they to cover your Noble Passage
Peace Be Upon You, Peace Be Upon You
Their(Non-Believers) Lies Have Spread Swept Across Allah’s Land
Messiah Jesus pbuh Did Not Declare Himself God
Neither Was He Crucified Niether Was He Killed
Darkness May Turn Into Light
But How May Light Turn Into Darkness
Relatively How Can You Live In Denial When
You’ve Been Exposed To The Truth
Peace And Blessings Be Upon You Messengers Of Allah
They Claim To Believe In The First Prophet
And The First Human Being Adam pbuh
Yet They Deny The Last Prophet Muhammad pbuh
For The Prophets Conveyed Allah’s Message
Unto The Servant and Slaves Of Allah
So The Prophets Were Preaching Allah’s Word, Allah’s Light
Delivering The Children of Adam From The Darkness Of This Life
So Allah SWT said In (Surah As-Saff 61:8) ”They(Kafurun) Intend To Put Out The Light Of Allah With Their Mouth’s But Allah Will Bring His Light To Perfection Even Though The Disbelievers Hate It.”

Tell me Sunni, Tell me Shia, Better yet, Tell me MUSLIM!

Why are the Muslims killing each other?
Shouldn’t they stand strong together
Where has the prophets Ummah gone
Divided into sections and torn
Brothers and sisters are against each other
Where is the peace and where is the honor
What happened to the one Islam
Now its accusations and hatred, No Salaam
Don’t know hypocrites from those who are honest
Everyone thinks they are the strongest
They say Islam is equality
But they have reversed that mentality
Why don’t the scholars stand and fight
Teach the youth what’s really right
They’re too worried about the history
Turned Islam into misery
Categorized as Sunni or Shia,
No more brother and no more sister,
Instead of pointing out whats positive
They’re busy glaring at the negative
Instead of learning from good character
They’re busy complaining who was Khalifa
Not realizing time is passing by,
Look at Allah the most high
Was there Sunni or Shia in our prophets time?
I dare any person to confront and say yes some time
We don’t even recongnise a hadith from a lie
Everything is reversed, and the truth is starting to die
Why cant there be unity?
What happened to humanity?
Who are we to judge whats right and whats wrong
This world is coming to an end, time is not long

Tell me Sunni, Tell me Shia, Better yet, Tell me MUSLIM!
What are the five Pillars of ISLAM?
How many times a day do we all pray?
In what month do we all fast?
Which Holy book do we all read?
Who is our Prophet that we follow?
To tell us how to act tomorrow!
Muhammad (SAW)!
Who is Our Lord?
Who is going to Raise ISLAMS WEAKENED SWORD?
Allah (SWT)!
Muslims, Brothers, Sisters, Stand strong as ONE not two’s, As an UMMAH not sectors,As a WHOLE not divided And don’t say i am Sunni or Shia, Simply say,

~Zahra Albader

By Imran Ali

-Part One – Imran-

I open my eyes to the morning light,
Dreams recede to subconscience.
Birds in duets, grass in dew,
And I, a tainted soul.
The television’s on; war in my sight,
A war of utter redundance.
Deaf to their lies, I see what is true,
From the whole, behold, a hole.

Later, I take to the city,
Death, from my eyes, dissolved.
Embraced in light, kissed by heat,
Then suddenly released to reality.
Faces, seemingly incapable of pity,
Pass by, with none absolved.
Such beauty, colours, tongues, I want to greet,
But to some, is worthless vanity.

Hundreds of eyes pierce my skin,
I wonder of their envisage.
Their stares, so acuate, sink into me,
Their thoughts deafen the ambience.
Then, ahead of me, a screeching din,
I thought, at first, a mirage.
A woman, in black, covering her beauty,
And a pathetic driver seeking an audience.

-Part Two – Laila-

“Take off that f***ing thing”, he said,
“You’d see better with that off your head!”,
Satisfied, he left with a parting screech…

I wanted support, an equal disgust,
Instead, all faces unswayed, robust,
My veil secluded my beseech…

I proceeded, still quivering in shock,
Unconcerned with glares that mock,
My scarf clung to my throat…

What did I do to that horrible man,
To recieve such words, which deserve a ban,
That appeal to those with a silent gloat…?

Women pass, eyes cast me down,
With short skirts, their hair as a crown,
Their low-cut tops serve to boast…

I much rather not flaunt my breasts,
I cover and won’t succumb to the tests,
But other’s don’t see; I am, to them, a ghost…

I walk along, so innocently,
Yet in my peripheral, all eyes on me,
I am drawn to the side, I stand…

A TV in the window shows a man,
In Palestine, I think; as fast as he can,
He runs, lifting the sand…

-Part Three – Abbas-

I ran past cameras, away from debris,
Like they care for me.

Patrol these streets, from a higher economy,
They come to watch us scurry.

No time for them, I have to run,
Have to escape the guns.

Soldiers play their serenade,
And we evade grenades.

I see an alley; to there, I sprint,
I dodge the bullets, every glint.

Over the bodies, I must fly,
But can’t escape that mother’s cry.

Can’t stop now, tear gas rains,
Close my eyes to the pain.

Shrapnel in my leg, lancinate,
I fall; for death, I wait.

I look around to a once joyful street,
Now the ground and houses meet.

I remember the people, the view, the breadth,
Now all I see is death.

I gaze skyward, a rocket falls,
I await my end to it all.

My final sight is a girl in her house,
I pray that she-…

-Part Four – Asiya-

Why did Ummi and Abb have to go,
And leave me all alone?
What if they die like that man outside,
And I’ll always be alone?

“Wait here, don’t move or scream”,
That’s what Ummi said to me.
Why did Akhi have to go and fight,
Instead of staying here with me?

Wait, I can hear my friends outside,
They’re screaming; I’ll see.
No, I must not move… they’ve stopped now,
I think they’re playing quietly.

I don’t know why bad people are here,
Abb and Ummi won’t say.
I’ll give them all my dresses and toys,
If they promise to go away.

Ummi’s screaming downstairs,
Screaming… screaming for Abb!
I want to go, but I have to stay,
I cry, I want my Ummi and Abb!

I can smell fire, all is quiet,
Ummi… please don’t be dead…
I want to go, smoke is filling the room,
I want to, but Ummi said-…

-Part 5 – ‘Salaam’-

The world continues to spin,
On the axis of inequality.
We have all been made beautiful,
And yet we will deny it.
Our stares, and glares,
And the cold words we share,
So unjustifiable…
So unrectifiable…
Where is the sanctity of life,
That some enjoy,
And others deprived of,
Denied of…?
Colour has made us blind to love.
Tongue has made us bitter to beauty.
The land of which a person resides,
Becomes an excuse for derogation,
Without reason, every season,
Treason, I believe!
Faith should be empathy;
Shouldn’t result in sympathy,
For all who are killed mercilessly,
For their belief and aspiration,
Of peace…
No, I am not of such practices;
I cast them away,
Let me show you my way…

When I say… Salaam.

To those I pass,
Who ridicule my colour,
My heritage, my faith,

To those who think,
They are superior,
And I inferior,

To those who protest,
Against my presence,
And seek my demise,

To those who yearn,
For my banishment,
For my undeserved portrayal,

To those who fear,
That I am a threat,
The truth of the media’s façade,

To those who ponder,
Over a side to take,
Light or Darkness,

To those who kill me,
Beat me, shoot me,
Annihilate me,

To those who hate me,
Humiliate and mock me,
Send an army against me,

To all of my friends,
Never dwell in ignorance,
Let me show you enlightenment,

To my brothers and sisters,
My mothers and fathers,
Alive and beyond this world…
